You can try this method. New price divide old price, minus 1, times 100 I.e {(new price/old price)-1}*100
I will illustrate with 2 examples:
1) If a price moves from N2 - N3 = 3 divide 2, minus 1, times 100 This will give you 50% increase I.e = {(3/2)-(1)}*100 = 50
2) If a price drops from N4.8 - N4.23 = 4.23 divide 4.8, minus 1, times 100 This will give you -11.875% decrease I.e = {( 4.23 / 4.8 )-1}*100 = -11.875

The stock was marked down for 0.35 dividend today. Previouse close 4.80 - 0.35 = 4.45 which was the reference/opening price for today, and after losing 4.94% today it closed at 4.23. So from 4.80 to 4.23 is about 11.87%.

Highlighted statement refers....You just spoke my mind...I am waiting on the sideline to see the stock(s) i can enter at reasonable price coz the bull run might just be another trap...To avoid any story that touch the heart I will quietly dump my money on GTB because its the only stock I know that you can put your life savings in and go to sleep...That said, I will still continue watching with my binoculars...

IMO on UCAP
- is a fav
- Long over due pull back
- SP making higher highs , forming 3 tops while MACD was forming lower highs signifying divergence & possible pull back loading
- RSI also forming lower highs supporting shift in short term momentum #short term bearish signal
- MACD 2 (adjusted to very short term) also confirming divergence and warnings on a momentum shift, see slope tending down
- Short term remains bearish however MACD below signal line tending towards d zero line
- SP testing 50 dma supporting short term bearish channel
(Long term however still bullish , 50dma stays above 200dma)
- pull back is not over yet !
