nice game. it was d first game ever downloaded on my s2. great graphics with 360 degrees view and its jus abt 150mb. pls if u knw any other game like dis not more dan 200mb let me knw pls cus data bundle too xpensive mehn.

guys ever since i downloaded dead trigger on my s2 i've bin madly in love wit d game. the fact that i can move 360 degrees and d size is less dan 200mb is awesome.

pls guys suggest other great games wit 360 degrees movement nd less dan 200mb in size so i can rock dis fone.
i dont av data bundle for all those massive games.

I didn't end up in download mode. it rebooted into the warning shown above and after waiting for some minutes I turned on the phone and checked the kernel.

when I try to back up the present rom with rom manager it ends up in that warning page too.

I still have root.

I never get pass this screen when trying yo boot into download mode because neither volume up nor volume download responds to press.

I downloaded mobile odin pro and used it to flash a stock kernel on my fone. The process started and the fone rebooted into the usuall warning msg asking me to press volume up to continue or volume down to cancel. Nothing happens after pressing the volume up, press + hold volume up, so I had to restart the fone with the power button. Surprisingly when I checked the kernel version it is showing the newly flashed stock kernel but still the fone does not get to download mode with the three button combo.
1. Does this mean that the kernel was flashed even though the fone didn't get to download mode.
2. Would you advice flashing a rom with this process.

rooted mine on Monday. as easy as downloading super one click and with one click you are good to go sir

Thanks 4ller for your time. The device is recognized by kies, and even Odin too (only when the device is on though), the drivers are instslled on my pc (I do transfer files between the device and my pc).
I'm also rooted, I have superuser, tatinium backup and rom manager all installed.

Using the above key combo I do get the warning sign on my galaxy s2, but when I press the volume up nothing happens, even when i press the volume down bottom to cancel too.
Pls can anyone help me with a working method to get my device into download mode as I really need to flash a new rom on my device.

I was at slot yesterday and I handled tecno N3. its dual sum 3MP. camera. full touch 3.5 inches. android 2.3.5, it has access to play store. I really liked it and it was just 14k. even with dat it comes with 8Gig memory card.

I'm suggestin dis cus I see u are not looking for high end android device

Thanks boss but ma problem is that those key combinations powers on the device into samsung scren and home screen. I even flashed clockworkmod recovery through an app "rom manager" yet those key combo just power on the device. Thanks for your time 4ller

I've rooted my s2 and installed superuser, tatinium back up, rom manager and flashed clockworkmode recovery through rom manger. but when i try to make rom back up it shows a warning with press volume up to contiune or volume down to cancel but nothing happens after when i press either of the keys. I av to press vol up, home, and power button for the phone to show the samsung logo.

This warning sign comes up every time even when i switch the phone off, it comes back up itself with the warning. so the phone is always on unless i remove the battry.

I av tried to do factory reset but the phone keeps askin for samsung password and the guy who sold me the phone said he has forgotten the password that i should go and flash the phone.

pls will flashing generally like flashing a nokia phone remove this i.e the phone engineer.

Im thinking of flashing a stock rom on it but since it will require wiping data im thinkin the samsung password issue may arise in the process of flashing the stock rom.

I cant even download from google play cus it reports "authentication error: u must log in to gmail acct". found the only solution to that is fsctory reset but i cant do dat now cus of this samsung password request popin up.

Pls guys. I've bin followin this thread frm inception but now i nid the help of the android gurus on dis galaxy s2 i just got frm a frnd. I've exausted my 250mb on googlin about d problems but im not satisfied with things i'm reading so i tot the pros can put me through.

PROBLEMS
1.The phone shows a warning msg with yellow triangle at start abt installin custom roms so i was advised to use a three key combo to turn it on, so i tot it was rooted but its not cause tantium backup could nt access root.

2. the phone runs on gingerbread (2.3.3) i've checked for OTA but its say no update available.

THINGS I WANT TO DO
1. Upgrade the phone by flashing a stock rom (ICS 4.0.4) frm samware meant for uk. Pls i'll like to if this would pose any harm to my phone.

2. Root my phone, must online tutorial on rootin are meant for galaxy s2 runin ICS.
