I assume that NYSC care most about you being cleared, approved & recommended by the institutions(your school, JAMB or WAEC as the case may be) and not your class of degree or score or number of credits.

So, if you have your time table (or here:http://www.nysc.gov.ng/mob-timetable/2015/2015b.php) you'd see that NYSC would start clearing the air on issues such as yours & others from 9th to 16th of October.

If posted to a university, you are most likely to be attached to a lecturer as his assistant or given other duties as the circumstance demands. Also, most universities give accomodation, stipends & special packages during Sallah, Easter, Christmas & New Year celebrations.

And for your second question, the system is still probably processing your payment(it happens anywhere, not only with NYSC). Go to the NYSC site, click on the Payment Status tab, at the upper-right corner of the website, insert your Transaction I'd & click continue. Youcan track your payment there.

You weren't given a state to choose because you didn't fill in your datails properly; you didn't scan your signature( & i assume you omitted other requirements too) and that's why you asked here if it's a must to scan a signature.

My name is Isiaka Olaide Saidi, I am a graduate of Adekunle Ajasin University, Ondo state and a prospective corps member of Bacth B 2015.

It is unfortunate that i have been unable to create a user account or proceed with my registration as i am stucked on the user account creation page, precisely the pre-payment page as it indicates as follows, 'No details found. Please confirm that your details are correct. Ensure your school provided correct details'

My details on the senate approved list are correct. However the status on the senate approved list indicates as follows: 'Matric no. in use (Login using your email and Password) by Alli Selimat Bidemi(oladimejiselimat@gmail.com)'

I have contacted the Student affairs department of my institution. The student affairs officer has informed me that my details on the senate approved list which was uploaded to the NYSC portal are correct and the error can only be fixed by NYSC.

Note, I have contacted NYSC via the various support channels provided and no response has been received yet

I have also contacted Alli Selimat Bidemi, whose Matric no is 080301022 and a member of Batch A 2015, currently serving.

I have never registered on the NYSC portal nor asked anybody to do so on my behalf.

Please I'm open to options, suggestions and advice as I am running out of time.

Attached are screenshots of the Senate Approved list showing my details and the user account creation page showing the error message.

Try using her e-mail & password. Your matric number mighthave been wrongly attached to her datails.

I can smell stream 2. Its better to be in stream 2 in ur choice states dou. Goodluck and prepare for Enugu camp.

It's base on quota. A certain number( say 1000 PCM's) for each states per week. So, the website would wait for PCM's to fill up the state for that week & then close it & re-open it next week. Hope you understand my analysis

Confirmed! I just registered this morning and was able to choose; Enugu, Akwa Ibom & Ogun State.
Most of the states are now up & running

Self deployment, choice of states & bla bla bla! I mean, these are what we were been told prior to the commencement of the online registration on 8th of September, 2015.

Also, the official website of the NYSC states that registration of Prospective Corp Members is to last for one month, that is, starting from the 8th of September to 9th of October, 2015. But to everyone's surprise, barely 3-days after the opening of the registration portal, almost all the states are no longer available for selection. And as of last night, not yet confirmed though, only two states are available on the portal.

My question now is that: what happened to the self deployment initiative? What happened to the one month registration window that was given? What would be the fate of us(PCM's) that are yet to register?

Now, I am using this medium to call on NYSC to please bring back the remaining states, so the rest of us that are yet to register could do so as others had already done.
