The difference between them is Clockspeed.

Looking at specs, they're both budget phones.

SoC: The Helio P35 on the Vivo is faster than the G25 on the R9a.

Software: They're both android 10 devices

Camera: Vivo has two rear 13+5mp cameras. The Redmi 9a only has one 13mp. The Vivo uses it's 5mp for depth (portrait mode) while Redmi uses software to achieve the same portrait effect.

The both have the same front facing selfie camera 5mp but Vivo could have the better selfie as it has a bigger aperture.

Video: they both record 1080p at 30fps

Build: both are made of plastic

Sensor: Vivo has a fingerprint sensor, R9a no get.

Battery: Redmi 9a has the bigger Battery with 5000mAh compared to the 4,030mAh on the Vivo.

They both use micro usb and do not support fast charge.

i haven't really installed games yet except for dream league soccer game which running smoothly.... It doesn't heat up at all..
Picture quality is not that great but it takes decent pictures.... I was confused as to which phone to buy between the vivo y1s and redmi 9a initially... I opted for the redmi cos of the bigger battery and i saw several YouTube videos of the two phones... On one of videos they compared vivo y1s speed and it was slow.... The redmi battery is everything for me... I barely charge my phone even when there is light... The phone's battery is just too awesome
