Kobojunkie: 1. Is there only one kind of angel in Heaven? That would be my first question to you.
According to Genesis 6, the Sons of God, which is what we Jesus Christ came to recruit His followers as, are able to mate with humans meaning they probably have human bodies like Jesus Christ. Lol....so how did the angels get their human bodies without been born on earth? |

Kobojunkie: 1. The spiritual addition to it which for those in Jesus Christ actually takes place when one becomes born of the spirit - John 3 vs 5 - 8 So what kind of body do the angels in heaven have? Is it the same as the one Jesus had after been resurrected? |

tctrills: I am not sure I understand your question. But hopefully this verse answers it. John 20:17 So you agree Jesus has a father and a God. Does Jehovah of the old testament have a Father and a God? |
Christianity Etc › Re: Is God A Trinity? by Michael548(m): 5:59pm On Mar 20, 2023 |
Kobojunkie: 1. If you recall, Paul had stated that when you plant a seed, the seed dies and then a plant grows from it that produces seeds — even of the same kind— but great and glorious. (When you plant corn, you will also reap corn by the way, only you get a whole plant and lots more corn.) From that, what Paul is likely trying to get you to know is that your current flesh and blood, the one you were born with, will die off in the grave, while a new more glorious body — equally consisting of flesh and blood — with an added Spiritual aspect to it, with be raised from the grave instead. You will die a man and be raised from the dead a man.
See that in verse 53? At the resurrection, the body is raised clothed in something that will cause it to never die — Spirit. So what is the difference between a physical body and a spiritual one? What is the source of the physical body and the source of the spiritual one? |

tctrills: That was never the my issue. I would appreciate it we can address my points then we move to a new topic. I basically pointed out the Jesus Christ was the Jehovah of the old testament. So who is now the 'Father' of the new testament? |

Christianity Etc › Re: Is God A Trinity? by Michael548(m): 5:45pm On Mar 20, 2023 |
Kobojunkie: Let's examine what Paul in fact says in his epistle. According to Paul, the physical body dies when it is planted, and a spiritual body emerges when the dead physical body is then raised. One thing to note is that Paul never actually states that the Spiritual body does not have flesh and blood associated with it. Surely, when you plant corn seeds, you expect that corn seeds will also be realized as a part of that which is planted, right?
In verse 45, Paul states that the first Adam came from dust and the earth, but the last Adam is a life-giving Spirit. When Jesus Christ arrived from Heaven, He was clothed in flesh and blood— a man—, even as the life-giving spirit. So, here we have Paul in fact insisting that even the one clothed in the Spirit remains a man — flesh, and blood. And this corroborates Jesus Christ's statements and actions from after He was raised from the dead . Not only did Jesus Christ allow them to see that He remained flesh and blood even after the resurrection. He proved to them that He still came equipped with a human digestive system by eating fish right in front of them. The man from Heaven, even after His resurrection still had flesh and blood intact. So tailor this to 1 Corinthians 15:50 |

tctrills: It said all powers given unto him. It did not say the Father is subject to him. You should be making your argument with Jesus Christ that made the statement if you don't believe it not me You said that Jesus is not lesser than the father isn't it? But the bible says he is subject to the Father. So how come he is equal to the Father? Don't you believe that the Father is greater than Jesus? |

Kobojunkie: 1. Peter's statement in that entire passage does not even address the resurrection, instead, he addressed only that which took place while Jesus Christ was in the grave — physically dead— for 3 days. So? So after Jesus was physically dead in flesh, how was he resurrected? With the same flesh? Read 1 Corinthians 15:42-44 |
Christianity Etc › Re: Is God A Trinity? by Michael548(m): 5:13pm On Mar 20, 2023 |
Kobojunkie: 1. Let's see what Peter in fact says. According to the above passage, Peter seems to be saying that while Jesus Christ was in the grave— physically dead—, the Spirit made Him alive— He was conscious, spiritually at least—, even in death. Verse 19 indicates this as it also insists that Jesus Christ, was able to go preach to the spirits in the prison by virtue of this. Ok....was Jesus resurrected with his fleshly body according to Peter? |

Docjay487: Excuse me o. See this: Luke 24:39 Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have. When then did he convert or throw away this body before getting airborne as said in Luke 24:51? Or finally on ascension? So you are saying that Jesus took his sacrificial body back to heaven? You would recall that Jesus after his death did not maintain one physical identity while appearing to his disciples which made them not to recognise him according to John 20:14, 15 and John 21:4-7. Jesus as a spirit person did exactly what some angels did a long time ago as recorded in Gen 19:1-3, so that his disciples could see him and know he was the one that was their Lord. |
