This is why I love Nairaland. It's just so easy to get everyone's attention. Denrele has made his mark, good or bad. What's my business? Well, my business is - don't add to the population of people who would confuse the earth to accept 'crazy' as a norm. #bra_less #top_less #husband_less you get the drift #case_closed ![]() |
Flashing d Illuminati 666 sign...in our faces like we don't know huh? Dude just blended. Smh. ![]()

Some of these comments are hilarious. What are you people saying sef? It's like you guys dont understand what is going on. The game is targeting something else. An ex-car-importer starts by importing all the fragmented parts of a single car (or in bulk). He pays custom duty for all of that. Then, he transports all that fragment to his assembly plant. Another cost added. Finally, employs the services of auto engineers to build the vehicle to specifications of various designs. Another huge cost (without constant PHCN in place). And you tell me the cars will be cheaper Are you kidding me?Which sane importer will go through hell to produce a single unit of a vehicle to sell cheap? And the policy went silent on financing. They are malking it extremely impossible for anyone to import cars!!! And if you say you get strong head say you must do the business, the policy will make you enrich the government (through tax). Period. Government knows that if the Naira must gain value against the Dollar, dependence on importation must reduce drastically. (But nobody will tell you that) E be like say na una wan employ those people for the importers abi. Lol |
my dear, you are not ready to sell this car. Who will pay N1.2m for dis? Wake up bros. |
available or sold? N450k i can see there's a lot to do on this car alrdy. True or false? Prove me wrong with an inspection arrangemt |
crescent: What do you mean by BUSTED? This scammer is still operating, a friend just got scammed by himBros u no dey read Busted means 'don't do business with this thief".It means he has been exposed. Abeg. Eaglebuster well done jare! Am feelg u |

mekaboy: The universities on strike will offer degree programs in course they know nothing about. Face other important issues first leave tokubo for now. No be light the factory go use produce the car? When I read this comment and saw the over "61 likes" - I first felt "this man has spoken the mind of Nigerians". But if you look around you, you would find similar threads started on the same subject, and it seems this particular one has more intelligent people on board so I chose to speak here. Here's my take on the issue: 1. Should we ban importation of used cars? Yes Key Benefit: Strengthen reserves, Cushion the exchange rate index to strengthen & permanently stabilize the NGN/USD, Revamps the Steel industry *a very key local content* etc 2. Should the factories be based in Abuja? Yes, for now Key Benefit: Centralized control, easy distribution of newly produced cars, verifiable / measurable impact, sustainable security for investors 3. What about Power supply. Is it possible? Yes, your country Nigeria honors international agreements Key Benefit: A dedicated grid supplies power to the plants/industrial area 24/7 just like its commercial sale to neighboring countries, so it's very possible. Moreso, the Abuja location of the plants makes it easy to implement a dedicated power generation & distribution, under licensed supply. (Lokoja is close by.) 4. Higher Institutions: Will they play any important role? an emphatic Yes! Key Benefit: This move is labor-intensive! The more engineers you have with skill and knowledge in the automobile industry, the easier it is to expand production. Hence, schools will be the major input and you can bet Nigeria's education in that area will grow to meet the demand. (If you doubt that, go to America and see what our doctors from Nigeria are doing over there! In this case it's purely Physics & Mathematics. Even better!) If you have any intelligent addition, please add & don't throw tantrums (I'm not here for that). But, we all know we'll be 10x better to save our money and keep it circulating here than to throw it away for the love of tokunbo cars. N600 billion annual loss is not a joke if you know your macro-economics very well. I rest my case. |
Adedoks: guys i jst got my both letters last wk thru a sponsor n i wuld b doin my documentation dis wk,i never knw abt nsitf until i got d leters n came searchin on nairaland to knw more abt dem,i was postd to d ikeja ofice in lagoscongrats o. you are one of the few on the final list.toniaken and lindiwe pls add me on my old BBM - i lost my new bb torch 3 (robbed in lagos). please am missing u both and my padi lloyd, kc, mr ben, infact all of u on nsitf bb group add me here: 30dd1910 how far with salary ooo? ![]() |
Danto: dis type of job is nt a job dat u will sit down at home and u will expect NSITF 2 give u job jst like dat especially for guy dat has no sponsor.it is nt easy my guy.it is GOD dat gave some of us dis job.dat is d bitter truth.i cried 2 GOD and he connected me 2 some people.along d way,i was insulted &embarassed but i was neva detered.i was in abuja for over 2months and i kept on coming 2 d office, sat down at d security post wit d securities.sometimes d securitiy men even made jest of me.but one day heaven was open concerning my case,GOD connected me 2 d person in charge,i summitted my CV wit d person.i was surprise one day wen d person called me dat i shld come for my leta.wat i knw is dat everybody dat struggle for dis job got it.i met so many people at d security post 2 who neva av sponsor like me but dey kept on coming 2 d office and dey av finally gotten d job.my guys NSITF job is nt meant for sponsors alone.it also meant for people dat has no sponsor but has God has dere sponsor.Psalm 125:1,they dat trust in d Lord shall be as mount zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth forever.DANTOOOO!!! feeling u bro. i told some guys that were feeling upset that they didnt get the NSITF job, that they should go and check whether they really put in their whole effort in the process. they said "well, somehow, u are right. we thought the job is by merit. so we prayed and that's all. that is what we expected."In Nigeria, i've learnt a big lesson never to just "pray" and sit down idle. You already know the country you are born into. Why would u pretend that you dont know that nothing is certain until it gets into your hand? Even ladies that got the job, ask toniaken, she is my padi, they fought like men till they got their posting. Now, they can relax after documentation. That is life, you don't rest in the battlefield. You use all you have - all your connections - to get out of your predicament - then when that thing gets into you hand, you use prayer to hold on tight to it. So, nobody should say, "naija we hail thee" as if you didn't see corruption in the university days. Even the bible says in Mark 3:37 "But no one can enter a strong man’s house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man. Then indeed he may plunder his house." Let's face reality, if you did the test and since 2011, you saw something was wrong, you could have started by going to Abuja NSITF HQ. And I guarantee you, with all humility, at all, at all, somebody will have mercy on you and help you. Congrats to you all, my people. **to whom it may concern** |

Fake post! Habaaaa! Obviously an intentional beef against Olabisi Onabanjo University and others... You can't take what's good out of the products, no matter what. How do you judge a higher institution? Is it not by the quality of the products? I've met three (3) Directors in multi-nationals - all friends from OSU days; but the one in Celtel who had 3rd Class in OOU said to me, "My dear, I had a rough start in life. I was always partying in UNILAG. But OOU taught me to fight for what I deserved. When I saw my result was 3rd Class, I knew I had work to do, and today, I rank among the best trained egg-heads in Telecoms in the MEA (Midde-East & Africa). Thank God for OSU-fighting spirit. I pushed myself to the very extreme! The closest of my UNILAG friend back then who came out with a 2.1, is still in the bank chasing lame targets and asking me for advice on how to climb up the career ladder." Live testimony, not stories. I can bet the poster placed OAU on top and garnished the list to honor favoritism. ![]() And this tells a lot about the overly-hyped so-called top universities and their 'we-want-it-all' alumni living on past glories. *lips sealed* |
Summary Of The Matter! 1. Politicians have taken over this topic. Whether you are PDP or APC, you know yourself. And the reason is just because of what they have told you to do for your party ahead of 2015. 2. Oshiomole - whether his comments were politically driven or just an opinion, the fact has been said. Nigerian Youths deserve a better life than they are getting; and whoever can see the handwriting on the wall knows that Employment should come to the top of the government's agenda (it is as serious as providing 24-hours Power) if you know your Macro-economics very well. 3. Since the beginning of these democratic deceptions, Nigerians have never (and I repeat NEVER) trusted the motive of their leaders. And that is why many people here feel Sovereign National Conference is a joke. And because of the continuous flaws in the performance of our government every year, some people still feel that the problem is deepened by ethnic and religious differences, hence the need for the Sovereign National Conference. Either way, the conference - for others - is just to fulfill all righteousness. But even if it holds, will it bring us together or further separate us? I rest my case. |
'Desiji, This is such a beautiful piece. And this is the kind of write-ups I wish Nairalanders would do. There is so much desire out there for the "next" big thing... Pastors have made it worse. They call it "the next level", shouting it at the top of their voice on the pulpit. But truth is, how can you continue to create false hope for a people who know the real status of their finances? It's not evil to want to make progress in life, especially finance. But make sensible decisions galvanized by sensible hope that has a clear plan, not just wishful 'prophetic' hope. I hope the few who read and ponder carefully on this will take home the lessons learnt. Thanks bro. You've said it well - Nigeria is suffering helplessly from this mentality. God help us. Cheers. ![]() |
