The Government of Kogi State Led by Alhaji Yahaya Bello, has expressed the willingness to accept the Astrazeneca Covid-19 Vaccine which was brought into the country about three weeks ago

Governor Yahaya Bello, initially rejected the vaccine, stating that his people cannot be used as a testing "Guinea pigs" for any vaccine.

The Governor while reacting to the arrival of the vaccine into the country then, reiterated that vaccinating the kogi State residents is less a priority to the State.

"Covid-19 is just a minute aspect of what we're treating in Kogi state. I'm not to subject to people of kogi State to vaccination or I will not make them Guinea pigs" he earlier said

But Speaking with giant media house TheCable on Monday, Saka Haruna, the kogi State commissioner for Health, stated that "everything" is set for the State(Kogi), to start the vaccination rollout three weeks after other States.

He said "we have done the micro planing and everything has been completed with the National primary Health Care development Agency "

" Anybody that is willing to receive the vaccine (will receive it); nobody is exempted, and nobody will be forced to receive the vaccine," he added.

it's no longer news that many Nigerian youths nurse the dream of leaving Nigeria for a foreign country at least once in their life time. The reasons for this idea cannot be far fetched, as it's crystal clear that government of the day though trying it's best to restore the country back to glory days had instead failed and floored the confidence the youth had in it.
