4.Responsive design: It involves creating interfaces that adapts to different screen sizes and devices ensuring that the interface is optimized for use on desktops, tablets and mobile devices.

3. Skeuomorphic design: This uses more of a visual representation of real life objects and textures with a sense of depth which results in a highly realistic and immersive User experience

2. Material design: This design style features the combination of realistic lighting, shadows, and motion with bold colours, iconography and typography to create a modern and intuitive design.

So permit me to explain the types of User interface we have.

Flat Design: This style of designs features the use of simple typography, shapes and bright colour which results to a simple and minimalistic design

So I learnt the types of User interface designs we have.
Let me name them:

4. Conversational design 5. Adaptive design. 6. Minimalist design 7. Responsive design

I guess most of us are back from Church, so the continuation of the things I learnt overnight, yeah i now know UI design has different stages, mainly User research, Prototyping, Testing and Iteration.

What is User Research?
User research involves understanding what the Users need, their behaviour and preferences. This is very important because it can serve as guidelines in making design decisions

-Prototyping involves create both basic and advanced representation of the user interface, in a more advanced terms, it involves creating low fidelity and high fidelity presentation of the user interface, which can then be used to gain feedback from users and the stakeholders

-Testing in UI design involves observing users as they interact with the prototype, this is very important because it usually reveals usability issues and give opportunities for improvement

-Iteration involves using the feedback gotten from testing the prototype and improving the design

I just wanted to update this thread, so overnight I learnt the basics of UI UX design, which I will explain in my own terms, i.e the way I understand.

So, the full meaning of UI design is User interface design, while UX means User experience.

UI design is mostly the visual aspect of a digital product and how it relays the message/information and how it allows users interact with it.

UX design is more about how user interact with the product, how it makes them feel; the perception they have and the overall satisfaction they experience

Honestly can't remember my handwriting being so baddd , it's been so long since i wrote long notes. I learnt some other things, which I will update the thread with.

It has not been an easy journey but I am here now, and ready to learn. I plan on documenting my journey in UI UX design here, with the hope of this keeping me on my toes to keep on going because I know it's not going to be easy and also with the hope of connecting with some amazing UI UX designer on here

So in 2022, I conceived the plan of learning UI UX design but I didn't have the necessary things needed; 1. A Good enough laptop, 2. Steady income while learning 3. Experience of using even the basics tools on a Windows software.

So I registered for a computer training school where I learnt how to use Microsoft word properly first, then moved to Coreldraw for Graphic design and then to Photoshop, Graduated from the school and started working at a Printing press.

Over the days,weeks, month, I've come to learn a lot when it comes to the world of design. Now look at who is ready with a Good enough laptop, Steady income and also bought a UI UX course already

I guess I should be posting more the reviews our designs get , got both of these today
