IN HIS EYES What if i derail, would u let me go? At least that easily? What if i couldn't measure up, would u judge me? At least that quickly? What if i couldn't say it right, would u dismiss it? At least that quickly? What if my legs gave way, would u let me fall? At least that easily? Am a man and at times i think like a man, even in His vine yard. I know it shouldn't be but at times i look at how my vine yard is fairing. I water and water and at times i too, get thirsty and sure wish to get some drink. I have been a foot soldier and until u walk in my shoes, u won't fully understand my rights and my wrongs. Now in my mistakes i have given my all, what is there to take home with me? May God have mercy on me and may my works never be destroyed when tried by fire! |
NEVER MEANT TO MAKE U SAD! The heart of a woman, so subtle and fragile. She laughs and smiles but yet, she cries and moans in seconds after. Never meant to make u sad, never meant to make u cry. I had promised to make u laugh and I promise to never take those words back. What should I say to make u see, what should I do to make u know. Never meant to make u sad, never meant to make u cry. I could walk a thousand miles just to give u more, I could write a thousand words just to show u more and even sing a thousand songs for u to feel it more. Never meant to make u sad, never meant to make u cry. Just wanna say am sorry. Let me make your heart so firm and sweet. To make u smile and laugh even yet to seconds to come. |

michaelok: 2015: Jonathan’s campaign postersJonathan’s 2015 campaign posters sighted around Anambra By Joe Chukindi on January 6, 2014 Campaign posters of President Goodluck Jonathan for the 2015 presidential election have been sighted in several places around Anambra State, Dailypost can authoritatively reveal. The colourful posters that were also seen at the popular Aroma Junction in Awka has the inscription; “No going back on 2015″. Though, the origin of the posters is not known, a resident who claimed to have seen some youth pasting them on Sunday night said that the young men on interrogation said they were given the job of pasting the posters in Awka by another contractor who probably got the contract from whoever was responsible for the posters. “You know how this things work? Someone somewhere may be doing this without the knowledge of the president. Though, the president has not openly declared his interest, but his body language shows he will give the race a trial. “But he is not also the type to heat up the polity by pasting posters now. So I believe that one of his supporters may be doing this. That was what the young man whom I saw going around last night and pasting them told us.” Our source said. When our correspondent visited the state secretariat of the Peoples Democratic party to find out if the posters emanated from there, no one was seen apart from the gateman who stated that there was no one inside. Though, there have been pressure on President Jonathan to contest for the election, he has not made any open declaration of his resolve to contest. sunnewsonline.net/news/jonathans-2015-campaign-posters-sighted-around-anambra |

2015: Jonathan’s posters flood Umuahia on january 07, 2014 at 12:00 am in news You might also like BY ANAYO OKOLI UMUAHIA— AHEAD of 2015 elections, campaign posters of President Goodluck Jonathan has flooded the major streets of Umuahia, Abia State capital. The campaign posters, captioned “no going back in 2015”, are seen posted in some major streets of the capital city. It was sponsored by a certain South East Youth group. But in a swift reaction, Ohanaeze Youths Council dismissed the posters and those who sponsored them, urging them to first allow President Jonathan to declare his interest to run before campaigning for him. The National Organizing Secretary of the council, Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro, said the group should wait for the President to declare his interest before talking of campaigning for him. According to Isiguzoro “what we should be talking about now is for the President to show us what he has done for Igbo youths who voted for him in 2011.” www.vanguardngr.com/2014/01/2015-jonathans-posters-flood-umuahia/ |

You just remembered the roads or is it the bad name u needed so as to hang the dog? |
I remembered reading in one of the dailies that these 37 lawmakers treatened to leave pdp if they were not given immediate pass in the next election, so what is this disguise of factional issues in pdp. They are all power mongers who are willing to do anything to retain their positions. We can't be fooled a second time. Still watching. #SEE THE CUP AS HALF FULL RATHER THAN HALF EMPTY. |
ujchief: They are speaking for themselves alone. I guess these are part of the 1 million youths that supported Abacha's regime.Rise above hate- John Cena. |
The hairs on the body of a goat has refused people to see that he is sweating. We in the forum has decided and urge the entire people of Nigeria to see the cup as half full rather than half empty, the desperate power mongers seem it to be! Even if its an 18 paged letter, we still can read between the lines. Ekene Okafor- Director for Mobilization. |
Youths from the five states of the South-East geo-political zone at the weekend met in Enugu State capital, Enugu brainstormed on measures to reduce what they called political apathy in the zone. The youths with representatives from Abia, Anambra, Enugu, Ebonyi and Imo states explained that their coalition was informed by the need for the southeast political bloc to be more sensitive to Nigerian political calculations and permutations as to gain their deserved relevance in the polity. The group under the aegis of Southeast Youth Solidarity for Jonathan arose from their meeting declaring that the issue of whether President Goodluck Jonathan should in 2015 run or not is against the interest of the nation and the youth in particular. The National President of the group, Comrade Uchechukwu, flanked by the Secretary, Comrade Obinna Onah and the various State chairmen, explained that the Jonathan-led administration was laying reliable foundation for sustainable growth of the nation in various sectors that could generate employment, so should be encouraged rather than people over-heating the polity. They argued that the issue of zoning should not arise in the current arrangement, noting that Nigerian political formation is based on six federating geo-political zones as against the argument that power should rotate between North and South blocs. They enumerated the Youth Enterprise With Innovation In Nigeria (YOUWIN), SURE-P programmes of the current administration as responses to the issues of employment and empowerment of the youths, saying that it was in consideration of these programmes that they are canvassing and declaring support for Jonathan’ bid come 2015. “Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN) has indicated that the industrial capacity utilization increased from 46.44 % in 2010 to 48.24% which translates to empowerment. Virtually, every state has many skills acquisition centres to train the youth, thereby empowering them to become self- reliant. Even as the ASUU has continued on strike, we have convincingly observed that the strike has to do with political interests of those who want to pull down the country and frustrate the government. But we warn that nobody should think that he or she is above the law or this country called Nigeria,” they stated. The youths explained that the southeast zone had before now been denied International Airport for political reasons and was recently bailed out by the upgrading of the Akanu Ibiam Airport, “That to us is enough indication that the Jonathan administration is fair to us as to others, even so when we see the dredging of the River Niger coming on course. This therefore makes it necessary that we encourage and support such a government and demand for its second tenure.” The Patron of the group in his address to them said that they should not make their postulations mere academic or elitist affairs, but take their messages to the grassroots as to sensitize the rural populace on the need to show interests and participate in genuine political matters. dailyindependentnig.com/2013/12/seast-youths-support-jonathan/ |
