I wld kill for dose three ppties mehn, Samsung fones lag with prolonged usage, its only recently gs5 owners r noticing it because of gs6, nd u won't feel it now, towards whn note 5 cms around s6 wkd appear slow nd cheap. but Sony z1 I v been using since day one is still sharp after 8 mnths without restoring factory settings.... whn I used gs4 I do restore factory settings every two months, else d phone wld be too slow.

alot of things affect fones here in naija... d hot weather, limited power supply etc... I v seen reviews 1 month after use, im yet to see three months based on naija conditions.

I like the music and video apps and I agree it consumes battery a little but not drain.

xcpt the update took care of dat whitish bar on d top nd bottom of d video player, it's trash. Yea installing update brought bk most things, music player is same as 8.1 sha, only dat its too linked to xbox, I don't v an xbox. im annoyed dat d songs are just scattered nd im required to start creating a playlist, I don't v dat time.

Should i not find the W10 amazing like i expected, is there a way to downgrade back to 7 still keeping it STOCK!


Can i upgrade from Home Premium to Ultimate and still be activated. ?

Kpele.... I v also upgraded nd am about downgrading bk to win 8.1, not because im a gaming person, but overly disappointed.. Only scored pass in start menu nd multiple taskbar windows, all oda settings like hibernation, sleep mode, brightness settings dissappeared...leading to battery drain, music player sucks...nd new video player is pathetic... My songs are just scattered in d ugly music player... Metchew.

Ok.... I have installed win 10....and it awesomely TRASHY... Wth, where did brightness settings go?? Sleep, hibernate mode...the music player is whaxk, media player with the white stripe isn't sexy atall... Metchew, overlay is ok, task manager is a gimick as well as d improved start menu...mk I hear say i no downgrade whn light cm bk...8.1 is better jare!

Using KMSpico, kms tool...nd all I don't know if dose things permanently activates windows, I know dey activate it, but not for how long. Am1 said after 90 days or smtin. Security ish wld catch up quickly with dose in such act faster dan with win home.

yeah that set your WiFi as metered connection so it will know its using counted data. you know your phones and laptops know WiFi is unlimited internet in developed countries. here it isn't, its all capped. just set it as metered connection and you're good to go.

How to set your connection as metered:
To start, click on the Wi-Fi connection in the taskbar on the far right side and select Network settings at the bottom of the panel that pops up. This will open the Settings app. Alternatively, you can just open the Settings app and click Network & Internet > Wi-Fi .
The Settings app lets you set a Wi-Fi connection as metered.

At the bottom of the Wi-Fi screen select Advanced options . This opens the advanced settings for the Wi-Fi access point you’re currently connected to. Next, scroll down to Metered connection and turn the slider to On under Set as metered connection .

That’s it. You’re done!

The next time Windows 10 has an update ready, you’ll be notified that an update is available for download. You can either grab it then or wait until you’re on a non-metered connection.

You better don't waist your data on that direct link. Microsoft win 10 is just 3gig. It has nothing to do with the bolded. Just be patient, your time will come

Oga, d link is solid... Its installation via media, it's a direct Microsoft Windows link with step by step installation process. The particular download link when u strt downloading expires after 24 hrs...u can download it via fone, usb, cd nd run it on the system u wish to upgrade.
If u already v d get windows 10 icon, its because ur system was recently updated or ur installation update is automatical.

Usually, i am someone who likes to start afresh when it comes to OS upgrades....This way, i avoid any hidden viruses, issues or garbage that the

previous OS has and not carry it over to the new OS...


Here is the deal... Once you are able to activate windows 10, then you are activated for life. So you go ahead and back up your data,

format your system and install a fresh copy of windows 10. As long as it is the same computer you activated windows 10 on previously,

then you have nothing to worry about. Once you connect to the internet, you will be activated... Best believe, tested!!!


But be careful, if you change any inbuilt hardware like ermmmm maybe the hard drive or smt, you might lose your activation...

d word "format" on win 8 get as e be....do u mean restoring factory settings??

The bolded is correct... however, if you werent properly activated on windows 7 Sp1 or 8 or 8.1, then there is no way in hell you would be

activated on windows 10.

run CMD in admin mode

type slmgr/xpr and tell me what you see...

windows 7, 8, 8.1... sure evn office 2010-2013...I Vnt tested it on win 10, I Vnt installed win 10 either... Im trying to get sn facts straight.

Mr intelligent ..Anyways im in d same shoes as u r, I am abt completing 3.7 gig ISO file for win 10, my system runs win 8 (activated by a method im not aware of, cld even be stock OS). but my fear is...after installation, to get ur win 10 activated, u need the key to ur former win version which I don't have.

Secondly how to u format everything again in win8?? is it d same as restoring factory settings on the settings menu dat wld erase everything?

Presently, I'm on windows 8. Activated with one file in the cd called "ACTIVATOR_KJ.120829" (is it the same thing with 'KMSpico'?). If yes, can I go ahead formatting my system and install the windows 10 os that I just bought (be informed that the key on the windows 10 did not work when I tried to install it in the first place).
