ahiboilandgas: the shortest tenure will have low rate ....target the new issue Hello boss, think that's where my problem was in the FG secondary bonds. I think that of pry bonds need capital of 50m. Or is there any bank that can do the 2.5m proposed earlier? |

emmanuelewumi: Currently selling at a premium your yield is about 3%. I think money market is better Wow... I'm still not able to get how this bonds thing works. So I would be looking at the yield offer?.. It's so low na. Why is there 16.39% in the first place? |

emmanuelewumi: Treasury Bill is short term, while bond is medium to long term.
Treasury Bill is a money market instrument, while is a capital market debt instrument.
With the current low returns from Treasury Bills, banks will be forced to loan out more money to customers and businesses, provided they are viable and won't lead to an increase in non performing loans. Hello Oga Emma, Please explain what the attachment below means, this is my first bond on the second market. If example I use 2.5m to buy this bond, say that for 2022 at 16.39% , how much am I expected? Like how much interest will I receive bi annually and what is meant by clean and dirty price. Please find below as received from stanbic ibtc this morning .

emmanuelewumi: If Soludo had redenominated Naira.
Old N100 will be N1 when redenominated
So the current conversation rate of Naira to dollar will be N4 to $1.
Houses of N100 million will be redenominated to N1 million
Your account balance of N100,000 will become N1000 the next day after the redenominaion. Based on this, what about the cash at hand. Let's say I have couple of 1000 naira notes denominations stashed somewhere, how will the devaluation or redenomination affect it? |

Sholapey: The process will make your capital idle in your account by the time they finish with paper work, sukuk bonds must have been closed. Closing date is June 2nd. You may check with your account manager to see if you can meet up with the date before you liquidate your ntb. Thanks madam, I didn't consider this perspective. And we are still even on holiday ... |

ukay2: If you have stockbroker account, put in the CSCS details
If your using bank like Stanbic Ibtc, you may not need to worry yourself with the cscs details since the bank will have custody of your funds with CBN. All your interest payments and capital repayment will still be paid as at when due. Just fill the other aspects of the form.
I bought FGN Bonds with stanbic ibtc some years ago without cscs details and I got all my coupons and capital repayment at maturity.
Though I have all the CSCS details now with my stockbroker.
Note: am not investing in this FGN Suku bond Wow ..so I can do this sukuk or bonds without CSCS number?.. I use stanbic ibtc as well. Cool |

ukay2: Yes Sir.
I noticed there are levels of investing ones pension fund
I think levels 1-4.....I think it was introduced 3 years ago.
The highest percentage return I saw then was level 3 for my age.....so I chose level 3 which has higher percentage ROI. My pension interest became higher than before.
I think I will enjoy this higher interest until age of 60 other thereabout before I will be automatically return to level 1......can't remember the full details.
I got this from my stanbic ibtc pension manager, when I made enquiry on investing my pension myself. At least the interest is better for the last 3 years. I use stanbic too, please how do I contact them about choosing levels of investment. I realise theres been little incremental interests on the funds on a daily basis, I was surprised. |

suco01: depend on what you need it for.
1. If it makes too much noise by reducing it will make the sound low a bit and reduce fuel consumption too.
2. is basically for fuel reductions from the capurator when the generator is burning fuel
Increasing or reducing 1 doesn't make u have hard start, causes could be choke lever in wrong direction, bad plug, soaked air filter, low on gas or fuel. Does reducing (2) affect load performance?? Let's say 2 is reduced, will it affect loads the gen usually carry? Like freezer and AC |

9jatriot: The imminent recession will be global, many people do not yet understand how bad the impact of this corana virus is yet. We should all brace up. China will open up their airports in the next days, they v succeeded in in combating coronavirus. I fear Italy and Iran and some parts of Europe with worse cases. Global community will be fine, stock markets and all will crash, but atleast those countries that export commodities will have hope of some sort of returns in their govt coffers. Atleast no one will be stupid enough to borrow your govt 22billion dollars to finance frivolities. |

tomtom370: LOL!
We all should be more worried about the implications of the downward slide on the Nigerian and global economy as a whole, way beyond Tbills rate. They will be forced to open borders and increase TBILLS rate atleast. The government cannot come and kill us. After suffocating the economy, they now want peace in the name of "recession". Recession will only make world say "we were right afterall ". |

That was how I knew how to calculate it. They invested till about few hundred naira left. And discounted the few hundred naira from my invested capital. 3M to collect 3.525M by February 2020. Stanbic lawanson rd branch has either scammed me or are very incompetent. |

Innoxxacs: 1M should give 130k But you need 1M in... I'd say run 800k, take 104k (up front interest)
Add 100k(4k remaining)to the remaining 100k run 200k on the next date take 26k(up front interest) add to the remaining 4k you have 30k cash and 1M in the bank My 2cents Lool...thanks. but this one na stress. I prefer rounding up in million. Plus...I also found out stanbic doesn't reinvest interest for both pry and sec. It would have been a better option like I do with FBN |

Thanks...I already subscribed to tbills with stanbic ibtc, secondary market around August I think, where they deducted the discounted value alone living behind the interest. I'm hoping that before month end I initiate another 1M but it's not complete, of which from the high rates now and all...when dey deduct the discounted value, it can cover including the charges. I know someone answered the question a while ago, but I needed to know the possibility for secondary market |
