freetowns: Idea 2 Real Estate TV program: there is currently know Real estate contents in any of the Nigeria TV stations. You can defo start one. Register a real estate company, approach one of the Top stations for a slot (Ebonylife TV preferably). Create a program where you help Nigerians relocating back to Nigeria search for a house in Lagos or Abuja. Go about the marketing of this program. Trust me once this program is on TV, your Real Estate firm would be the leading one in this sector.
Thanks Tv program? LMAO! Not even a music show o. A boring real estate program. Already, income from adverts is out of the equation because audience will be too few. I doubt if anyone on this thread EXCEPT one or two people here have really risked money on any endeavor before. I really doubt. I like the thread though. |

okine4real: i have said it before, this thread is not for children. I never said anybody should give me 50M. I said if it cost 50M to start a business, 10 people can come together and pool there resource together and start such a business. Pls read my write up carefully. In the first place, while would people give me 50M? or you think 50M is 500k?
Lots of people have beautiful business ideas, but can start such business because of its huge capital..... I think i would stop here......
As i said before, am a software consultant, i have my business, but would want to venture into a second business, i will advice you to come here, share your lucrative business idea, and if its worth while, people would contact you and you and them would know how you can partner.....
its because of huge capital in starting a business, thats why you see big companies selling Shares.... I do hope i have been able to make myself clear. Partnership in itself is a very risky idea to begin with. Especially partnering with strangers on social media. What is the guarantee that one of them is not going to go after the rest with guns when money starts flowing. We're talking millions here mehn! #just saying |

freetowns: I guess u havnt heard of bad debt. People havnt owed you for 4 years or more for goods supplied. Which do u prefer: having that debt in your books for years or selling it to a debt collection firm for 30% of the value. Any smart biz person knows which to choose.
As a business guy, I have many debts I am willing to sale for even 10% of its value. So oga think before u utter absolute trush.
Thanks Dude, are you Jesus? Should it be your problem that people don't mind 30% of their debts paid back to them or should you be more concerned that you will really get the money back from those so called debtors? Ever heard of bad debt? Dude, this your idea is a very bad one o. Especially in this part of the world. Believe me, your generations unborn will curse you of you push your life earnings into this idea. And no need to insult the other guy. If anyone is making sense here, its him. Not you. Please throw that idea into the lagoon before rags begin to look like designers to you. |

Ay92: Please help me guys,I just got a Nokia Lumia 520 and I can say I'm loving it as my first windows phone, but my problem now is that the phone used to get hot around the three navigation bar (i.e. Back, home and search buttons) and around the camera area. I wouldn't have bothered ( because I know that's common to most smart phones) if not for the fact that it's draining my battery. Any tip or solution please? Leave ur phone on 3g. Go to settings and disable all background runing apps except one. Plus when chatting on any thirdparty app like whatsapp, ur phone will get hot. That hotness is the one that drains ur battery (the processor in action). Use those apps less frequently if you can. Lastly, ur phone is not PS 2. Stop playing games on it! A word is enough for the wise. |
Phones › Re: Advice On Power Bank For Phone Charging by Michky: 11:56am On Oct 24, 2014 |
megasoul: Let me use some analogy to explain power banks capacities. Just as u measure liquid in litres, u measure battery capacity in mAh(milli amp hour). So imagine u have a 100litre tank of water & u're fetching from it with a 10litre gallon, ideally it means u can only fetch from it 10 times (i.e 10*10=100). But if u're fetching with a 5 litre gallon, ideally, u can fetch 20 times ( 5*20=100). Now I said "ideally" because we're assuming some little amount did not get lost due to spillage as u're fetching or evaporation from storage, leakage, etc. Then, how long ur 100litre tank of water lasts u depends basically on how often u fetch from it & d quantity u fetch, assuming there are no leakage, spillage, etc. That said, battery capacities r measured in Ah(amp hr) for big batteries like car battery or mAh (milli Amp hr) for smaller capacities like cellphone batteries. Now, if u have a 6000mAh power bank & ur fone battery is 1500mAh, ideally u can fetch from ur power bank four times before it's completely drained. But no machine is 100% efficient so a tiny winy amount of power must have been lost from d long storage, charging process, etc, hence u probably won't get a 100%/full charge in d fourth charging. I think the ish here should rather be if u're buying a good storage tank like GP tank ( i.e a good & reliable power bank) & the size should depend on ur usage capacity with respect to ur cellphone battery capacity. Nice. |

You obviously didnt get the point. Keshi had a standing 2 in Ambrose but put our only reliable 4 into ambrose place. It takes guts and technical know-how to do that kind of thing. She may or may not have some blame but this woman has worked hard for her money and I really feel sad for her. No one is a saint and he who has not sinned let him cast the first stone. Hey slow down. There is no special hacker guy anywhere. People buy domain names of big brands in the hope that they will make huge bucks off such companies when they need to use the name online. tete7000: While I understand where Gov. Fashola is coming from and while I agree with some of his assertions. One thing we all must note is that anywhere within the international community where ebola is being mentioned, reference will not be made to Lagos defeating ébola but rather it will be Nigeria defeating ebola. Lagos is part of a big nation called Nigeria and all the names mentioned by the governor are Nigerians first before being anything else. Some of them are schooled in Federal institutions, some are federal employees. While kudos and big hug must be given to Lagos State for prompt action, we all must not forget that it was NIGERIA as a whole with the help of God that won the war against ebola and stop politicking this issue. A house divided against itself cannot stand or conquer ebola. God bless Nigeria! what is dis one saying? CANT YOU SEE THAT JONATAN IS USING EBOLA TO SCORE CHEAP POINTS FOR 2015? Fashola is not even stoping jona from taking credit as Nigeria's president. ALL FASHOLA IS SAYING IS: GIVE CREDIT TO WHOM IT IS DUE. |

- No TAP water - No school for ALL our children (despite receiving ADDITIONAL N6.5 billion from the federal administration through UBEC for this purpose) - No FEEDER roads - No Primary health clinics and general hospitals is this what they told you or you've gone round for yourself? You have forgotten to put into account the over-population in lagos. Believe it or not, all these things are in abundance in lagos. Just ask your pdp governors to perform so all their citizens will stay put. Instead of over crowding lagos for us. |

ideology: Fashola my dear friend,
Your opinion and views are correct, the foot soldiers who put their lives at risk to work round the clock at the care units should receive lots of commendation.
Howbeit, I can boldly tell you, as a free thinking, unbiased citizen with no political affiliation for introducing politics into the issue because the presidency is getting international credits and recognition and probably using it for campaign, you are playing "mind games" just like Chelsea manager would do to his opponents before a match, [though he has repented since his return to EPL].
I have seen you use every opportunity to gain political points by talking about your perceived opposition, at tree planting occasion, commissioning of housing projects, etc instead of focusing on what you have done and use it gain points, you also talk about your opponents at the same occasion, are you looking for sympathy or what? I can't remember the presidency using such occasions to talk about their opponents.
"In fact, PDP don't talk about their opponents expect they are responding to propaganda and allegations "
The is where your party, APC is missing, the more you talk about your opponent, the more you make them popular.
A true patriot, has eyes to see, ears to hear and make judgements. Nigerians are intelligent, only extremist will listen to your comments and not think twice before drawing conclusions.
Maybe they told you to join them in spreading propaganda, since you are a nice dude and you will gain sympathy from your supporters, well it may not work well at the end for.
You are too smart to join them, be wise, you have life outside politics, protect your integrity, don't soil it for APC
God bless Nigeria!! childish post. Talk about them or not. Pdp is already popular. Arnt they the ruling party again? Think before you post. Please. |

We all aplauded when that suspended Nigerian fifa official was caught on camera asking for bribe. GREED. This synagouge case is different. An unexpected disaster occured, many international lives were lost and so the need for the press not to worsen the matter. DAMAGE CONTROL. A damage already of monumental degree. Let me give you an example. Lets assume that dumb reporter's father died in a gastly car accident. It would be easy to atleast handle the sight of his dead father at the morgue. Wouldnt it? Yes. But what if reporters visit him daily and recount in different details how his father's legs were decapetated before his head was crushed and his brain slashed all over the high way. Gury right?. Would this ape reporter feel good then? Or what if the story of his father's death showed up in the news everyday for one month (this is what the international media know how to do best), rubbing it in his face from different angles (corruption, badroads, govt failure etc), would he be satisfied that one other dumb reporter believes his father's accident and demise is the proper place to end corruption because lastma gave brown envelopes for damage control? Know what, forget it. You are on your own. |

felzylix: You've done the right thing, buh when the consequences arise... OYO is ur case #remember This reporter dude is the most dumb fellow i have ever know. His intention might be good but he didnt think about what the consequences of his childishness and selfishness will cause his loved ones. Foolishly, instead of sticking to his presumed easy target (T. B. Joshua) alone, he begins a name calling charade. From Goodluck Jonathan to Dangote, Mimiko, Fashola, Dana air, Politicians, reporters, etc. I pity this reporter boy because he doesnt know the meaning of what he's just done. If you dont like the so called 'brown envelope', reject it and leave it there. Damaging the goodwill of a man who already is in tears is heartless believe me. Why didnt this boy report the dangote 2010 incident if it wasnt for fear eh? Dude, because the likelihood that a pastor will hunt you down is minimal doesnt mean you should drag his name in shame. Am not a synagogue fan but this man didnt deserve what you did to him boy. You want to eliminate corruption? Good. Problem is you picked the wrong person. |

Wierd. My ex-fiancee had all these horrible qualities. I mean EVERYTHING!. Ofcourse i was in love. I wanted to marry her anyways. She got unnecesarily agressive whenever i tried to correct her, screaming ontop of her voice each time. What?! Yet, i didnt mind. Extremely selfish and untrustworthy. She took instructions from her mother rather than me. Her mother practically controlled our relationship. And when eventually i stood up to her, she felt insulted and ordered her daughter to quit. The girl just couldnt make up her mind what she wanted for herself. One time we went shopping. Everything we bought that day was practically what she forcibly wanted. I did everything to please her. She never even cared if i was happy or satisfied. It was all about her all the way. I kept wondering why she would even lie to my mom atall! I wondered why my mother never even advised me to persevere. Very unlike sweet mom. It would have been a living hell if i had gone ahead to marry her. Oh i didnt tell you, she already nagged me into paying a date at the registry. Now, that money too, wasted. I thank God she is out of my life though. Guys be careful. It is well. |
