You see, the moment i accepted the fact that occasional loss is inevitable, i became free. Yes, there's still a lot more to learn everyday, am comfortable because the foundation is very dependable. One other point you raised that i'll want to re-emphasize is "reducing risk to the bearest minimum". Losing 1 or nothing out of 8 bets is what we should all aim towards. Baslone said his bets were 97% certain. I think that's what we should emulate.

Last year, i was winning one a day and losing two the next day. Now, am on a winning streak of 4 slips. Not much but am gradually getting there. Yes, i know i might lose a bet or two, but i also know that most of my bets (singles/combos) will win and that's really cool.

An example is a team that's in 4th position and equal on points with the 3rd in the league. One would expect that team to win, looking at the motivating factor of climbing, and the fact that they'd be playing a 28th position team. Shockingly, they play a draw or lose outrightly. Confusing huh? Yeah.

As for me, i've stopped analysing games in that manner. I just take risks that are absolutely worth it and hope for the best. As regards these games, Bayern and Barcelona, they have the capacity to win convincingly which is what am counting on.
