Hello everyone!!! I got admitted for a MSc due to start by January 7th, 2023 but my visa appointment is in July, 2023. So, I applied for an emergency appointment, it was approved, but I was given January 18th, 2023 as the new visa appointment date. I wrote the school about the update but the school advised that I defer my admission since I cant be in the US 30days prior to the start date.
Your prompt advise/input will be highly appreciated.

I just received a similar update o.
My dad's appointment has been rescheduled from April 2022 to January 2023. The initial application was made in June 2021.

After tribunal, the appeal court is the last resort for Governorship cases while Supreme Court is the last for Presidential cases. I stand to be corrected.

Whatever the Tribunal's ruling is, the ruling can be appealed at the appellate court. Luckily, whatever the court of appeal's judgement is, Supreme Court is the last court of instance in this legal battle.

In the Rivers State 2015 election petition, Dakuku Peterside won at the tribunal; won at the Appeal Court, while Nyesom Wike eventually won at the Supreme Court. Today, Wike is still serving as the Executive Governor of Rivers State.

As it is the common practice,
status quo ante will be maintained in this regard. Therefore, Gboyega Oyetola remains the Executive Governor of the State of Osun till the last ruling of the Supreme Court. That is the position of the law.
