HealthSuper ‘pink Moon’ Will Appear Over UK Skies Tonight by mickeymimi(op): 9:18pm On Apr 07, 2020

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d8a3ZfTPzs4 india

The UK will be treated to the biggest supermoon of the year tonight when the Super Pink Moon lights up the night sky. Supermoons have come to mean special full moons that occur when the moon’s orbit brings it closest to the Earth (its perigee). In general a supermoon will appear 14% larger and 30% brighter than the average moon. The moon isn’t actually that much closer to the earth, it’s just our brain interpreting it as a lot closer.

Astrologer Richard Nolle first defined the term supermoon in 1979 as he explained that the phenomenon ‘is a new or full moon which occurs with the moon at or near (within 90 per cent of) its closest approach to Earth in a given orbit.’ In order for a moon to be propelled to supermoon stardom it would have to be 226,000 miles away from the Earth. And the supermoon that’ll fill the sky this evening and Wednesday morning is set to be the biggest and brightest of the year. This particular full moon is known as the Pink Moon as it’s the first full moon of spring in the northern hemisphere. The name derives from a pink flower called phlox subulata that blooms in spring in North America. It doesn’t mean the moon is going to suddenly turn pink tomorrow evening.

How to see the Super Pink Moon this week Providing the weather is clear, everyone in the UK should get a good view of the supermoon – all you have to do is stick your head out the window and look up. If you want to get really technical, the Super Pink Moon will officially peak at 03.35 on Wednesday morning. But you’ll be able to get a good view of it from around 20.15 onwards as the sun sets tonight. If you do miss this evening’s celestial spectacle then don’t worry, you won’t have to wait too long for the next supermoon. It’s occurring on May 7 – and we’ll probably all still be self-isolating by then as well.

PoliticsRe: Only Buhari Can Determine Extension Of Lockdown In Lagos, FCT – FG by mickeymimi: 6:57pm On Apr 07, 2020
instead of giving people food .. can the FG just pay each Nigerian household .500.000naira..1 000 000

Even if they want to give 1 000 000 naira to each citizen .. they can..

Like someone rightly said ..in a country of 250 million people.. ... that will equate to roughly 300, 000, 000...may be through their BVN.... . they can do it in batches of 100 000 naira every 2 mths .. this will make pple to register their details

As for those without BVN .. they can issue them a temp BVN and whoever tries to defraud them can be sent to kirikiri and loose their entitlement or pay it back.

That will enable them to count the citizen living in Nigeria... with photograph and collect data on everybody including the number of children....Dont how they will do that with the billionaires.

Nigerians will seriously thank them and will stay in till whenever......Govt can do it.

The Lagos lawmakers passed the bill at their sitting on Thursday.

The bill, titled ‘A Law to Combat and Stop the Spread of Corona Virus Pandemic in Lagos State and for Connected Purposes’, has 25 sections.

“As from the commencement of this law, only essential services such as food supply, pharmacy, shops, water supply, petrol filling Stations and other relevant agencies shall be in full operations unless the Governor declares otherwise.

“All security agencies in the state including the Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Corps Agency shall effectively ensure that policy directives of the Governor are implemented and enforced.

Coronavirus: France racism row over doctors' Africa testing comments
3 hours ago

So far, Africa has been the continent least affected by the virus, but cases are increasing
Two French doctors have been accused of racism after a TV debate in which one suggested trials in Africa to see if a tuberculosis vaccine would prove effective against coronavirus.

During the debate on TV channel LCI, Camille Locht, head of research at the Inserm health research group, was talking about a trial in Europe and Australia.

Jean-Paul Mira, head of intensive care at Cochin hospital in Paris, then says: “If I can be provocative, shouldn't we be doing this study in Africa, where there are no masks, no treatments, no resuscitation?”

“A bit like as it is done elsewhere for some studies on Aids. In prostitutes, we try things because we know that they are highly exposed and that they do not protect themselves.”

Dr Mira had earlier questioned whether the study would work as planned on healthcare workers in Europe and Australia because they had access to personal protective equipment to prevent them catching the virus.

"We are in the process of thinking about a study in parallel in Africa," he said, referencing the existing trials in countries in other continents.

Are we getting closer to a coronavirus vaccine or drug?
South Africa's ruthlessly efficient fight against coronavirus
What has the reaction been?
The comments received an angry response on social media, including from former footballers Didier Drogba and Samuel Eto’o.

“I would like to vividly denounce those demeaning, false and most of all deeply racist words,” Drogba tweeted.

“Do not take African people as human guinea pigs! It’s absolutely disgusting,” he added.

But Inserm said in a statement that the video was “the subject of erroneous interpretations”.

“Clinical trials to test the efficacy of the BCG vaccine against Covid-19 are... about to be launched in European countries and in Australia,” it said.

“If there is indeed a reflection around a deployment in Africa, it would be done in parallel with these. Africa must not be forgotten or excluded from research because the pandemic is global."

Masturbation Effects on Your Health: Side Effects and Benefits

Side effects
Sexual sensitivity
Benefits
Prostate cancer
During pregnancy
Takeaway
Overview
Masturbation is a common activity. It’s a natural and safe way to explore your body, feel pleasure, and release built-up sexual tension. It occurs among people of all backgrounds, genders, and races.

Despite the myths, there are actually no physically harmful side effects of masturbation.

However, excessive masturbation can harm your relationships and everyday life. Other than that, masturbation is a fun, normal, and healthy act.

Keep reading to learn more about the side effects and potential health benefits of masturbation.

Side effects of masturbation
Masturbation doesn’t have any harmful side effects. However, some people may feel guilty about masturbating or have issues with chronic masturbation.

Masturbation and guilt
Some people may feel guilty about masturbating because of cultural, spiritual, or religious beliefs.

Masturbation is neither wrong nor immoral, but you may still hear messages that self-pleasure is “dirty” and “shameful.”

If you feel guilty over masturbating, speak with someone you trust about why you feel this way and how you can move past that guilt. Therapists that specialize in sexual health may be a good resource.

Addiction to masturbation
Some people can and do develop an addiction to masturbation. You may be spending too much time masturbating if masturbation causes you to:

skip your chores or daily activities
miss work or school
cancel plans with friends or family
miss important social events
Addiction to masturbation can harm your relationships and other parts of your life. Masturbating too much may interrupt your work or studies, which can lower productivity.

It may also hurt your romantic relationships and friendships, because you don’t spend as much time with your loved ones as you used to, or don’t pay attention to their needs.

If you’re worried you may have an addiction to masturbation, speak with your doctor or a counselor about ways to cut down on masturbating.

Talk therapy can help you manage your addiction. You could also cut down by replacing masturbation with other activities. Next time you have an urge to masturbate, try:

going for a run
writing in a journal
spending time with friends
going for a walk
Does masturbation cause a decrease in sexual sensitivity?
For women who have sexual dysfunction, enhanced stimulation — including masturbation — can help increase sexual desire and sensitivity.

In fact, two 2009 studies found that vibrator use among women and men has been linked to an increase in desire, arousal, and overall sexual function. Women also reported an increase in lubrication, while men reported better erectile function, according to the studies.

Masturbation can affect sensitivity during sex for men because of their technique. Research has shown that too tight of a grip on a penis during masturbation can decrease sensation.

Sexual health experts recommend changing your technique during masturbation to restore sensitivity levels during sex.

Benefits of masturbation
Masturbation is a healthy sexual activity. It has many benefits for your physical and mental health.

There are limited studies on the benefits of masturbation, but there are studies on sexual intercourse and stimulation.

Research and anecdotal reports suggest that sexual stimulation, including stimulation through masturbation, may help you:

relieve built-up stress
sleep better
boost your mood
relax
feel pleasure
relieve cramps
release sexual tension
have better sex
better understand your wants and needs
Couples may also mutually masturbate to explore different desires, as well as avoid pregnancy. Self-pleasuring also helps you prevent sexually transmitted infections (STIs).

Masturbation and prostate cancer
Some research suggests that regular ejaculation may lower the risk of prostate cancer, though doctors aren’t exactly sure why.

A 2016 study found the risk of prostate cancer decreased by about 20 percent in men who ejaculated at least 21 times a month. A 2003 study also discovered a similar link between frequent ejaculation and lower prostate cancer risk.

There’s no evidence, though, that ejaculating regularly protects against advanced prostate cancer.

Masturbation during pregnancy
Hormone changes during pregnancy cause some pregnant women to feel heightened sexual desire. Masturbation is a safe way to release sexual tension during pregnancy.

Self-pleasure may also help ease pregnancy symptoms, such as lower back pain. You may feel mild, irregular cramping, or Braxton-Hicks contractions, during and after orgasm.

They should fade away. If the contractions don’t disappear and become more painful and frequent, contact your doctor right away.

Masturbation may not be safe for women with high-risk pregnancies. This is because orgasm can increase your chances of labor.

Takeaway
Masturbation is a healthy, natural, and safe way to practice self-care and improve your health.

Masturbating may have many benefits for your mind and body. Despite the possibility of addiction, there are no harmful side effects.

Feel free to enjoy self-pleasure without guilt or shame. Speak with a therapist or someone you trust about any negative feelings you have.
