I am a Christian ... I understand Adeboye son s frustration..... I dont think we should start attacking other people s religion or generalising that all muslims are bad.... ...It is alright to address the badies like boko haram or herdsmen.. My cousin (lady) was very rich and in a good job , blessed at an early age...... b4 she met her hubby who had no job then..... she helped him to start his business .......later she has a damage to her nerves during child birth C section ..... cld not longer work..and the hubby is the one now supporting her and family and he never complained . His business is doing well.
so the tables can turn .....

I think it clearly shows that in RCCG it does not matter if your spouse is of another faith...e.g moslem , budhist , yahooyahoo,,etc. As long as YOU are serving in the church and be a good christian living a righteous life and regular tither .

If she were to bring Tinubu to the church..... they might ask him to be baptized , do restitution , no longer be yoked with unbelievers and start attending new believers classes ....be a regular tither from honest earnings.... cld be the reason sha

Good .. I know RCCG is very strict .....but as an assistant pastor in redeem will she be able to attend mosque with her husband or .........she has to convert him to Christianity and do restitution....not sure how it works. Also which department was she serving in the church...

Jesus clearly never begged or cursed anyone for money but accepted donations as part how he supported himself and his disciples. In Luke 8:3 Scripture specifically states that a group of women provided financial support for Jesus and his disciples. also, in John 12:6 indicated that Jesus may have received gifts on a regular basis, and that he instituted a system whereby Judas was responsible for the money bag. The money was used to to assist the needy or poor among them . Jesus and his disciples also had their own jobs.

Why then did Jesus then send Peter to the sea for money from a fish's mouth to pay tax? Why not take money from His money bag meant for the poor?.. Why let a thief Judas handled the money bag when he was clearly stealing from it.

There is nothing wrong with churches doing the same thing. Churches have always accepted financial support given freely by those who have benefited spiritually from the churches.

But no where has Jesus indicated that anyone is obliged to pay certain amount of money , tithes or % every month to a church except for Taxes to the government . Romans 13:1-7 makes it clear that we are to submit ourselves to the government. So churches and Christians shld be honest tax payers.

If u believe not paying tithes ...does not affect your relationship with God ..then it wont.. cos Jesus (the founder of Christianity) and disciples never paid tithes .. but still served God.
