PassingShot: Great. Very good indeed!
The unfortunate thing is that campaigns are over and Buhari will be president for four years at least.
May be we will consider this info then.

Modified* That PDP failed to unearth this house in the twelve years that Buhari contested against them is a confirmation that the party is clueless and dumb beyond our thinking.
The report claims Douglas Oronto, a staunch PDP/GEJ supporter, was a tenant in that house and PDP could not know! Please stop insulting our sensibilities. Only the naïve and the gullible ones can be deceived by this bull crap.
We have too many brillinat people in Nigeria and you re one of them.....Oronto Douglas being a tenant to this said mansion would have scored the pdp a high political point....I will say it again pdp needs to be nutured about being an opposition party and fashola said that can be done for free.
And if the news is true, I will conclude that PMB is too clever than we thought but I will be really disappointed in him nonetheless. |

missterious: Lol. This reminds me of my mum. Anytime my neighbour brings sallah meat, she'll collect it & say "thank you" so happily. My siblings & I would be busy salivating over the food. Before you know it, my mum will carry the food & put in the waste bin. She'll even throw away the malt & coke. Chai! Im sorry to say this, thats very Ungodly of your mum.As christians (followers of christ) we should always ask ourselves this question, if Jesus is in this situation what will he do? That food she threw away some people wish they had. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Is It Okay For A Christian To Eat Ileya Meat? by Midastorch(m): 7:53am On Oct 05, 2014 |
dcaliph: Good question. As muslims, we only eat the food of three people, muslims, christians and jews. Food from other people a forbidden. Muslims we believe in Jesus alaihi wa salam, we believe in his miraculous birth and in his message, we also believed that God saved him from from the jews by taking him up to himself and we believed in the second comming of jesus. You may not agree that Jesus didnt die, but we belive he didnt. That is why we don‘t take part in the celebration as you are celebrating what is against how faith. Allah is the Arabic interpretation of God.like Yoruba Christian and babalola saying "Olodumare".I believe we served the same God but our ways of worshipping him and standard is different.
If a christin for example say “I would not celebrate with you because i believe it was isaac that was to be sacrificed and you believe it was ismael. If i aam celebrating with you it is as if i am agreeing with your believe and denying my bible.“ i would not hold it against him and i would understand.
But lying that Allah is not God while he is sing “na go de Allah“. Is what i am against. |

CANTICLES: Anyway, this is a funny thread ... Back to business : u guyz need to answer this two questions .... 1. Will muslims celebrate 'ileya' if assuming Abraham sacrifice his firstborn ?? ( coz that would mean firstborns will b roasted for ileya festival) If NO, y do it bcoz its a ram ! 2. Did Abraham even eat the ram after offering the sacrifice ?? For your information, God never intended to use Isaac for the sacrifice, he just wanted to test Abraham's faith.someone that has only one child and you asked him to come and sacrifice the child? The biggest of today's pastors will say "I bind you Satan".Saying slaughtering ram is to the idols?? You guys should refuse your teachers (pastors) to be teaching you heresy.in the old testament, God receives burnt offering of animals (rams or sheep to be precise) which are sweet smelling savour unto him and he blesses whoever served it unto him.but as Christians, because he has given us his own Lamb (Christ Jesus) there is no need for us to sacrifice any animal again.all we need is to go to his presence in the name of Jesus. Talking about Christmas, christmas is more idolatry than the sallah we are talking about because its the old Roman empire that replaces a festive period of worshiping the a god of sun "Mars" with the birth of Christ. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Is It Okay For A Christian To Eat Ileya Meat? by Midastorch(m): 7:20am On Oct 05, 2014 |
Sanchez01: Lolz, you sure made light of the thread.
Back to the topic, OP, it is not right. As a matter of fact, sharing from the meat is the same as alluding to their deity and object of worship.
An example is seen in Daniel and the three Hebrew boys who refused to pollute themselves with the 'king's meat'. It is wrong to eat of the meat. You guys should stop misquoting and misinterpreting the bible.Omg!!!! The Hebrew boys decided not to pollute themselves morally and refused to follow the corrupt ways of Babylon unlike the present day Ayo oritsejafor and co.nothing is wrong with eating meat in short Ileya is very very biblical.in as much as the old testament is still part of our bible references, it is biblical. |

Food › Re: Why Do We Need Food Scientists And Technologists? by Midastorch(m): 11:57am On Sep 14, 2014 |
As important as the course looks, the Federal government of Nigeria and national assembly still find it hard to grant Nigeria institute of food science and Technology (NIFST) the statutory power to probe and certify most of these food companies. Speaking the fact, most of these food companies give us poisons to eat in Nigeria.very few of them go through normal standard operating procedures (S O P). I remember when I was doing my IT in one of the sugar refineries, normally there are two different production lines for fortified and non fortified sugar.whenever the ingredient for fortification is not available, they will just produce non fortified sugar and bag it into a fortified sack. Also the environments at which most restaurants, canteen, mama put produce their foods are very awful. My conclusion is God has a special love for Nigerians and Africans in general.imagine someone eating from a swollen canned food that is susceptible to botulism.if oyinbo man try that, death na the cure. |
