Oghene86:Yes, the concept of first fruits is biblical. It appears several times throughout the Bible, particularly in the Old Testament. The term refers to the first portion of a harvest that was given as an offering to God, signifying gratitude and trust in God’s provision. Here are some key references: 1. Old Testament Law: In books like Exodus 23:19 and Deuteronomy 26:1-11, Israelites were commanded to bring the first fruits of their harvest to the Lord as a way of acknowledging Him as the source of their blessings. 2. Proverbs 3:9-10: This verse advises believers to, “Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the first fruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine.” This passage emphasizes the principle of giving the first and best to God, trusting that He will provide in abundance. The practice of offering first fruits was a way for believers to express their dependence on God and gratitude for His provision. Today, some Christians interpret this as a principle of giving their best—often the first portion of their income or other blessings—to God as a way of showing faith and devotion. God bless you |

Hi All. Trust we are having a good weekend. a family friend whose visa/brp (husband and wife) is to expire by Oct 2024 just noticed that the brp of their baby girl expired in may 2024. The recent discovery happened as there were about to apply for PSW for the family. The family(church members) are presently worried about the child as they do not know the fate of their baby girl. Will applying for PSW alongside the child correct the issue? Pls has anyone been in that position and what advise/step can they take to correct the issue. Thanks My Ogas |

2special:Boats don’t just pass anywhere as there is usually a pathway in waterways for boats to pass, and it’s called a navigation channel. This is the deeper part of the river where the water is deep enough for boats to travel safely without getting stuck on the bottom. Sometimes, these channels are marked with buoys or signs to help boats stay on the right path. To the lame man, it might seem like boats can go anywhere on a river, but they actually need to stick to deeper parts, called channels, to avoid getting stuck. In some areas of a river, the water is shallow or there might be rocks, sandbars, or other obstacles that could stop the boat or damage it. That’s why boats usually follow these deeper, safer paths. So For the boats to collide, something must have happened. Either one or both boat operator aren’t following safety rules, such as going too fast, not paying attention, or not staying in their lanes (navigation channels). Or they they didn’t watch out for each other, follow speed limits, and steer their boats safely, especially in busy times or traffic. |
