Are you sure it’s the right link? Mayb you are tracking on Lagos and not Ghana..

I just tracked my passport on VFS and I noticed the dispatched date has changed to today (20th) when its been showing 15th since last week.

Has anyone experienced same before? I actually thought I would be getting the passport this week but with this new staus am confused!!!

Yes they do take dr time. I applied in April and got my response in October.

@mideyola I applied through paper route with upfront medical last month and I track it on the 15 of this month it was written yur processed passport has been dispatched from to the visa application centre and I have not got any email from CIC yet cos people told me normally you are going to received an aproval mail and a frd told me dat since I did upfront medical I might not kw the outcome yet till I get my passport, he told me dat I might even got the TRV waiting for me dat some people do not get email notification and my agent told me dat the kw she is that they will email my dat my passport is ready for pick up or collection and tell is usually an attachment to the email dat wen I will kw weather I got it or not..and am kind of worried that's why I was asking u about the notification

Pls calm down so u can understand what am saying. I linked my application online some days after submitting via paper route. Two weeks after I checked my cic account and I saw that it was approved. Shortly after that I got a mail in my personal gmail-box stating that I have a new notification on my cic account. When I opened my cic account, I found the correspondence letter dr. So some hours after that I tracked via VFS website and I got the message “ur processed passport has been dispatched from Ghana”. I would advise you to still go ahead and link ur application online to see the decision that was made.

Yes I think that’s the same correspondence letter I got in my cic account some minutes after I they approved my study permit application

Sorry. I did not get any of ur emails. I got an approval mail in my CIC account. It was after dt I got a notification dt I av a new message in my account (which was d same thing I saw abt 5 minutes earlier)

For the past four days, Bn reading people's stories here on a lowkey & commenting, submitted my 2nd application on oct 18th, for some funny reason, I didn't link it online this time around because of the emotional stress, I decided to link online tonight but my mind told me to track it first & see what's up, app shows that passport has been dispatched since 15th, with no approval mail, safe to say...I love canny but maybe God has better plans...it is well

Did you later link it cos I saw my own approval mail under my correspondence via the online application.

My application has just been approved!!! MSC Educational Administration and i only took 2 weeks just like d PHD.
I really cant hide the excitement but i know it was Gods divine favour. This post is to encourage anyone that wants to change a career path but is not sure of how to go about it. with God and doing proper research on how to gather the right documents, u can only expect God to finish the remaining part. Am sincerely grateful to some people dt helped me with ideas and review of my SOP...may God bless u all @fredunna(for ur constant support everytime i buzz u) @jnyuwa (for ur additional input) and @beverlyd (she showed me the area to focus on).

Is it true that one might/will not get a post study stay in Canada if the program is not up to 2 years. I have been offered a 18months master program in Royal Road University(RRU) and a 2 years post graduate diploma in Concordia university. I prefer the RRU offer as it relates directly to my first degree and my current profession.

I need your suggestions and advice. I have secured fully funded m.sc position on vaccinology and immunotherapics at in U of Saskatchewan in starting January 2018. I am gathering my documents for study permit but my concerns are how to prove my home ties and gap between my youth service year to this year. I graduated in microbiology 2013 and did my service in 2014. I worked briefly with a private university in 2015. (Feb-may) before enrolling in m.sc environmental microbiology in one of Nigerian public University.i have defended my thesis but Senate yet to approve my results due to lingering ASUU strike. Currently I am unemployed . I am also worried if the V. O will have issue of me going for another m.sc , what can I use for my home ties and it's my admission letter for environmental microbiology enough to present as time lapse.

Continue to wait and write to the admissions office at the school you applied in Canada. Yes you can go to school in the USA and many are happy to help you apply to change to a student visa while in the USA. From experience though, these are schools desperate to get your money and give you an education. It's hard to change from B1 to F-1. But totally possible if you do your homework well. If you think you can afford to pay your way, that would be your easiest route. But if you can't afford and need a significant scholarship, your best way is to go through the application process right here in Nigeria as most of the schools have as their scholarship criteria, that the student be residing and coming directly from Africa. Even Canadian schools have this criteria, e.g, TRU Master in Education, full scholarship for African students. No you cannot apply for Canadian student visa while on a visiting visa to USA or Australia or anywhere else as a matter of fact. As one sacrificial lamb here wedged his life to prove, you would be rejected based on status in country of application. Good luck.

27th Aug-call for medical (even after doing upfront medical-attached the e-medical form and sent to accra email)

4th Sept-Medical updated –passed

6th Sept- Request for original passport for all my application (1 study, 3 visitors, 1 work)

To God alone be all the glory. Though tightly busy, I will be willing to answer some questions in this regard and wish every other TRV hopefuls quick and favourable response from CiC. Merci!
