If its a V6 yes but for 4 cylinder the 5w20 AA is okay and would take you for 6 months or 12000km whichever comes first.

What is stated on your oil cap?5W20 or 5W30?

Balance shaft issues were present on all M272 engines built in 2006 and midway through 2007. There was a recall for it, though, so most engines have been fixed by now.

2004 to 2008.

I used it as described on my engine 4 years ago and can personally tell you that its minimal if done as explained.Drain about a liter from the engine and mix then pour and run for 3 mins at idle speed.That was the procedure i used.

Bros please what about 5w40? My TSX recommends 5w30 but I couldn't find it during my first oil change. So I used the 5w-40 instead.

If its full synthetic which i think it is then no damage just that you lose better economy and lubrication.5w30 always available at my signature.buzz me anytime for it.

Just get liqui moly engine flush.mix with old oil in engine and run for 3 mins ,drain and continue using your 20w50.When you buy another car you will know what to do as you have learnt your lesson.Your fellow palm oil crew will not come and see this now(Nigerian weather is hot gangs).

Hello Nairalanders pls I need u guys advice as I'm about to get My first car and it's a MERCEDES-BENZ CLK 320 AVANTGARDE 1999 model V6 Foreign used, I need advice on d car before I proceed to pay d dealer his money,but my problem now is that d car is a right hand drive (RHD) Manual drive and am planning to convert it back to LHD, I hope there are good mechanic that can do dis for me in Lagos without me having issues on the car thereafter.
I will sincerely appreciate every response and experience pertaining to my issue pls.

Second Issue,

After the car was first washed in Lagos I parked it and locked, when I came down the rear and brake lights along with one of the headlamps was stuck on, when I tried driving it I'd a lot of error messages come up which cleared by the next morning.

Driving from Lagos it started raining heavily halfway through the journey and I noticed water dripping on my feet. When I parked both front footwells were completely soaked.

It's raining this morning and now both back lights and the brake lights are on,

This means water is getting into the car somehow and it's touching something it shouldn't. I've disconnected to battery to avoid any issue/drain.

Google says something about sunroof drains which I would check today too but who has experienced something like this?

How was it solved?

Windscreen gum has expired.Go get the windscreen removed,and fixed(insist they use two cans of gum and let it be genuine)

The issue then should be the mixing, I'm just seeing in the manual that different transmission fluids shouldn't be mixed.

I'd have it drained and refilled with 7l of the recommended (jws 3309) oil this weekend and report any findings.

That means the torque converter plus radiator and co are getting drained.

60k. the best oil is Top tec 1800 at 5k per ltr.You will need 8 �.Please almost price of the gear but hey.....thats what it is.
