Once again Nigeria's maradona and self proclaimed evil genius has issued a challenge the nation to prove him guilty. The way the man was to get back to power makes me wonder if he forgot his broom behind grin

Politics / Re: Could Gistboard Knockout Nairaland? by migareigns(m): 3:14pm On Apr 12, 2010
I agree that nairaland is still sticking to it's tried and tested method but i feel people will still find it relevant. Gistboard is good no doubt and has got some decent reviews but it has not got the users that nairaland has yet.
Politics / Re: Could Gistboard Knockout Nairaland? by migareigns(m): 3:01pm On Apr 12, 2010

Most of the cars on the pix are not fit for Nigerian roads. Just look at the Buggati, Ferrari, Lamborghini, SLR Mclauren; their parts don't come cheap. For instance, the carburretor for a ferrari costs more than 200000 dollars not to talk of servicing the engine if it breaks down.

I won't buy a car that will send me to an early grave.

This a an unwritten rule that You don't buy these cars unless you can afford to buy two at the same time. I doubt that any wealth nigerian will buy a ferrari or whatever and ship it to naija. probably park it in at home in dubai or london.

ps. the porsche carrera gt is actually a Koenigsegg CCX. You labelled it wrong.

ps. the ferrari limo is rubbish.

so if she was some faceless person without a parent in the system this would have gone unnoticed by the government? and we want our bright nigerians abroad to come back abi?
Sports / Re: Nigerians To Buy Newcastle United FC? by migareigns(m): 2:48pm On Sep 23, 2008
also do not forget that nigeria is not exactly investment friendly. one second a firm is sold then a new government comes in and BANG!!! the sale is reversed. interest rates are high. and let use not talk about nepa.
Sports / Re: Nigerians To Buy Newcastle United FC? by migareigns(m): 2:40pm On Sep 23, 2008
@ nazzyon. while i feel 350 million pounds will really help a lot of nigerians. you cannot blame a person or group of people for how and where they choose to invest their money. they are first of all business men and not a charity and might have seen an opportuntity in thr league. i know it does not seem fair but sadly that is how it is. sad

@Poster
Don't you get? Nigeria has banned everything tokunbo, and that includes tokunbo nyash
Please you guys should stop all the sqaubles,
The issue id that we are tired of you guys populating our dear country with all the substandard and tokunbo everything, so tokunbo nyash is not an exception
So you all should get it into your thick heads
next time you plan on importing tokunbo anything, ecpecially nyash
BRAVO TO NIGERIAN EMBASSY
AND PLEASE CUSTOMS GUYS SHOULD BE ALERTED TOO
IT IS WAR ON TOKUNBO EVERYTHING
ESPECIALLY TOKUNBO NYASH

angelloven i would like to believe that u forgot that poster said that his WIFE wanted nigerian citizenship. To call a man's wife who i believe u do not know "TOKUNBO NYASH" makes me think you are an uncultured barbarian and i suggest you b stripped of ur citizenship since you r exactly the kind of rude person we do NOT want in nigeria. angry
Education / Re: Expulsion Scandal Rocks Covenant University: 120 Students Expelled by migareigns(m): 5:14pm On Jul 01, 2008
:oso let me get this. students r in a hall of a social evening. they r told to settle down and when they dont do it they are told to produce their bibles. so what of those who were sitted and did not have their bibles. or is it that ALL those without bibles where causing the chaos in the hall? even in my secondary school nothing as stupid or funny as this happened grin
Business / Re: G8 Worried Over Nigeria's Nuclear Programme by migareigns(m): 2:51pm On Jul 01, 2008
in a country where governors and other people in power are burying millions of naira( or is it even billions??) in underground storage tanks and civil servants are not paid salaries for as long as 7 months i think this will be the ideal place for terrorists to get nuclear materials. they should just paid the plant operators N10000 each and they can get all the stuff they need.
i am not against nigeria developing nuclear power after all there is a lot 2 gain but what worries me is the scale of the disater that will occur when the plant has a meltdown and given nigeria's track record it will happen.
Politics / Re: Nigeria Without It's Vast Oil Reserves by migareigns(m): 3:20pm On Jun 28, 2008
if the current oil price surge continues and the search for alternative energy increases i think we will find out if the theories about nigeria being able 2 survive without oil will occur sooner than later. personally i do not think we have a chance. sad
Politics / Re: Anambra State Has Banned The Sale Of Contraceptives! by migareigns(m): 1:56pm On Apr 09, 2008
i will like to thank the people behind this idea. i never knew that there was going to be an award for " the government that is has done the most to spread A.I.D.S in nigeria" the anambra govt should get really . PEOPLE WILL HAVE SEX OUT OF WEDLOCK. that is a fact so one can only hope people will abstain but should not take away condoms in bid to force. the amount of people having unsafe sex is high enough already with this law it will sky rocket!!!!
TV/Movies / Re: Kenny And D-1: Boring! by migareigns(m): 2:57pm On Apr 03, 2008
i will admit that kenny and d1 started the whole hip hop tv thing ( i know i did not miss a single show when they where not ait.) but i think it is time to bow out gracefully. i mean it is going to be hard to interview lil bow bow or rihanna when you are over 15 yrs older than them. there is a generation gap that will be hard to cross. after all carson dale was one of the pioneers of mtv trl but you do not see him still hosting shows.
TV/Movies / Re: Voltron Defender Of The Universe by migareigns(m): 5:00pm On Jan 22, 2008
what i don,t get is the way the robeasts alway died. i mean if i saw a huge robot diving at me from 40000ft with a huge blazing sword i think i would dogde or at least drop some roger as the police say not stand in shock like some wrestler in wwe who see his opponent finishing and still stands there. undecided
