Thank u very much BUYAKA 4 that comforting information. I can now yet believe that someday not too long by the grace of God they will call me for interviews as against a false rumour I earlier had that they counselled the test done last year and conducted another this year!

By the way is there any way to know one's status or performance at the test? I  did mine at Port Harcourt.

This may not be real because looking at the scene, the hose is sopposed to be attached to the Fire truck but that is not the case here as the fighters are facing the fire truck while another host is lying down supposedly comming out 4rm the truck, secondly, the fear of mob action would not allow them parade a host without water.
I am not trying to say that we are having a well developed fire fighting system in this country but lets try and be real, constructive and objective in our criticism.
And if there is a better explanation to the above claim , I would like to hear.

If this philosophy hold then as mountainous as Nigerian problems are, I think the little he has done since inception are small stones to start with in trying to remove the mountain before us!

Think about these seemingly complicated issues: assuming an oil and gas company want a medical doctor, a lawyer, or even a teacher or zoologist in there service how would u reconcile this. Similarly, if a school, medical firm, NGO, or other non oil or engineering related sectors need the services of an instrument technician, electrician, and the likes which are somewhat associated to the oil and gas or engineering firms, how can we reconcile this in your supposed categorization?

Not trying to discourage ur brilliant idea anyway but just looking at some conflicting issues that might erupt.

COLLINZ, EBHOHON AND CO, I wonder where u got your info that Shell do pay there trainees off at the end of the program pending on there performance with a wooping 1.5m! Well maybe u were referring to sitp/1 which I don't have a reliable source to inquire from, else that sound strange and unbelievable to me.

Infact I am a product of this training(sitp/2) and after the program they picked in batches and wrote to some of us that were successful at the interview that we should be patient because they have not been able to find a placement 4 us due to organizational problems and maybe due to the unrest within there areas of operations. But there is still hope 4 us b'because d fact that they are still training means that they need more manpower.

Note that your being staffed after the program is not automatic. u must first undergo and pass there interview b/for you can be absorbed as a staff and it may or may not be immediate but i bet u the training is worthwhile.

Presently, I understand that they may be considering taking all trainees as staff on training which means that once u ar called for the training u ar considered a staff but on training which is a better deal that what was obtainable initially. u may find out from those presently in the training to know what's up. But I still believe that these things will be outlined in your letter of invitation for the program.
