We will survive with or without Npower. Npower is supposed to be an empowerment program for the unemployed youths and the " underemployed" ones. I as an Npower beneficiary is not unemployed but I would say I am underemployed as what I earn monthly can't comfortably foot all my bills even though I leave a very modest lifestyle and this is not to talk about savings. So when the government came up with Npower I saw it as another avenue to get a few extra bucks that I can plan with. Now did that mean putting in extra work and time so as to do the job assigned to me by the government? Yes, It certainly did. Did I get "empowered" even in the slightest of ways? No, hell no. Not when from the few and scarce resources at my disposal, I had to transport myself to my PPA 3 times a week with the hope that sooner rather than later there will be respite in terms of payment of my stipends. Did that respite come? No, what l get is a deafening silence from those in charge of the scheme. It is my right and entitlement that I am being deprived of. Everyone out there who has worked under this scheme and is being owed by this scheme has every right to demand for their stipends. We did not beg rather we worked. On the contrary, the technical school I was posted to where the one's begging I and my colleagues to be on ground to teach the students chemistry because the only chemistry teacher the school had was on maternity leave.I have to give credit to my colleagues- 2 other young men who out of their tight schedule ensured that the absence of the chemistry teacher wasn't felt even though by sixth week the students had done nothing last term. If the government doesn't do the needful then it isn't out of place to refer to the scheme as a use and dump program set up by the government to help fulfill it's propagandist agenda. Whether the government is sincere in their intentions or not,I shall survive with or without Npower.

I am sure buhari, sadiya and empower management were paid and not 10k , 30k stipend but to pay graduates na war........ How is this an empowerment program when you are owing people?

Even if I see alert sef,I no dey go PPA again. Without the Npower beneficiaries many of the public schools can't offer anything cos they are short staffed. At the end of the day, we save their blushes and they end up treating us like we don't matter. Make the govt teachers do all the work. Thunder fire Npower

Wilder isn't a technical boxer he was just a hype job from the very start who got so much hype for fighting bums and then chased clout using Aj's name. I watched most of his clips on YouTube even before his first ever fight with fury and I knew that any decent, hungry boxer with a good management team would finish him. I was all the more disappointed when he fought a fury that has been out of boxing for a while and was outboxed in all rounds even in round12 where he got the knockdown, that punch connected and in the late rounds. Who would have thought that Tyson fury would get up and put Wilder on the back foot. I knew there and then that wilder couldn't box and he relied heavily on just a right hand. I told anyone who cared to listen after the bout was declared a draw that fury won it and I stated that the next fight wilder would be disgraced and that with that poor technique Aj would kill wilder. Now for Fury and Aj,both boxers can box and their CV shows that they are no fluke therefore it is 50-50. It is laughable when I hear people say Joshua won't last 5rounds. I expect this bout if it ever happens to go the distance and if Aj ever gets to fight Wt wilder I expect him to knock Wilder's ass out.

I disagree....Ronaldo fans has always made it look like his team wouldn't achieve anything if he wasn't there but would attribute Messi's success to his teammates. A perfect example is UNL......Ronaldo took all the credit even though Bernardo Silva was the best player in the tournament.

Another example is Cr7 fans attributing Messi's genius to Iniesta, Xavi, Dani Alvez, Neymar, Suarez e.t.c but failing to acknowledge that Cr7 greatness too is down to the likes of Mesut Ozil, Sergio Ramos Marcelo, Benzema e.t.c.

Messi is an exceptional player. He can even play a game without scoring a goal or providing an assist and end up being the man of the match. I rate Messi highly for that cos he makes the game. However, a certain Portuguese can only be the motm when he scores a brace or a hat trick and in a game where he fails the score, he gets the worst ratings most of the time.

Amending the electoral act will not automatically be an elixir to our brazenly crooked electoral process. However, it'll mark a significant step towards redeeming the one system that embodies the tenets of a democracy.

I hope that Nigerians will closely follow the electrical act amendment process, to ensure that it's free of any dubious influence.

My brother people make up systems and institutions. Amending the electoral process might be a laudable step but even more importantly we need to amend our ways of thinking or else our dubious nature as a people will render an otherwise laudable step and render it impotent.

Tyson Fury’s arrogance will be his Achilles. I do agree with him on the Anthony Joshua’s confidence issues but I do believe that if Joshua sorts himself, he has more than enough to school and shut Tyson Fury’s mouth.

How do you rubbish a trophy laden career of 16yrs because of hatred. Someone said Messi isn't entertaining and I wonder what that meant. Messi had been entertaining football fans since he was 8yrs old when there was nothing at stake but just the innocent love of a child for the game. I have watched the younger version of Messi at viewing centres when he breezed past great defenders in their numbers trying to get the ball off him and what I hear in the viewing centre makes u know that he his great and not an ordinary player because he his the only player that elicits such reaction from football fans you hear stuffs like" E mu(catch him)
