The dad is out there wallowing in pool of ignorance allowing that murderer of a pastor lay hand on his head.

This is saddening for the future of Africa.

FreeSpirited:
We should first blame our educational system for making our graduates half baked and unemployable. Then we should face the ugly reality that making money lies on our strategy and flexibility to think outside the context of our educational package, the ability to identify business opportunities and tap into it with purpose.
don't blame the system. It's doing what it was designed to. To make docile slaves

Not only him, Burutai, Dambazzau, Oshi-M-Ole, Amaechi, Okorocha and lastly but not the least Aisha Buhari too.

They're all looters of our commonwealth. I've noticed that you and your fellows get a massive erection whenever an opposition member gets arrested or is being investigated. You always crawl back into your ugly shells whenever a news about APC members corruption practices is being reported on Nairaland. You and your fellows avoid such threads, why?
Obaseki promised 200,000 jobs if elected, apparently, he was lying and only trying to deceive the masses but you weren't on that thread to berate and rebuke him and neither was any of your fellow. Why? Because he's APC and you're Zombie pro APC?

bejeiodus:
Ambode really needs to tread with caution as this looks like a knee-jerk reaction on his part. Why it is desirable to see hawkers off the streets, it is not economically expedient. So many mouths are fed from the proceeds of hawking. He doesn't need to go hard on street hawkers because of the misdemeanor of a few. Lagos state must remain home for all instead of an elitist state that his predecessor tried to turn it into. This decision was made in bad faith and should be rescinded.
how many hawkers do you see in obodo oyinbo.they should buy bicycle or okada and start home delivery biz.

I still don't like it!! They are probably using "ranches" to delude people since the word grazing reserve is causing people to react strongly...

It's a business for goodness sakes. Government shouldn't be responsible for providing the ranches, the cattle breeders are supposed to make their arrangements themselves like others in Agric business and all other kinds of business do.

Do they provide poultry farmers, fish ponds even the big time mechanized farmers with lands to establish, expand, so why the favouritism for a particular group?

TravelRe: Lagos-Ibadan Expressway Will Be Extremely Busy From 1st-3rd- Says FRSC by mikolo80: 1:50am On Jul 03, 2016
deymoh:
The Federal Road Safety Corps, Lagos State Sector Command has published a Press Release that the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway will be extremely busy from the 1st to 3rd of July due to numerous religious activies slated to hold along that road.

The command made it known that the Redeem Christian Church of God ( Holy Ghost Service) and NASFAT annual Vigil will simultaneously hold on the 1st of July, today to be precise. Additionally, Mountain of Fire Ministry will also hold its monthly power must change hand program on Sarurday 2nd of July 2016, precisely tomorrow, coupled with the ongoing rehabilitation of the road.

Consequently, Motorists are adviced to take alternative routes to their respective destinations to avoid experiencing a devastating traffic that would surface within those days.

The alternative routes are :

- Lekki- Epe-Ijebu Ode to link Sagamu or Ibadan

-Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway through Sango Otta-Owode-Sagamu Interchange

-Ikorodu-Odogunyan-Sagamu-Ibadan

A word, they say, is enough for the Wise!!!

All true no lies. Even a day old knows that there is a problem not just in Nigerian Police Force but virtually all establishment owned by the Government.
The fault should not go to the FG alone but their HEADS.
They have ridiculed the force. angry
Their OGAs are so unprofessional, so uncultured. I mean how can you turn a police officer to a beggar, thieves because that is what they
They ask for money when you don't give them they forcefully collect it by creating one problem or the other for you sad
This is to be expected when you allow people who knows nothing about the force to be leaders base on sentiment undecided
@bolded should not be encouraged because if people are giving them this money willingly it becomes a habit. Why? It is not as if they don't pay them.
Shame on their leaders they are not representing them well. Majority are after their own.

I was at the Police Station yesterday to get a Police Extract.. It cost me 3000 Naira.

That said, the Nigerian Police has al the mechanisms within itself as a Department to raise funds without resorting to criminal extortion and collection of bribes and gifts from the people which clearly violates the Nigerian Police code of conduct and laws and is grounds for dismissal from the Police and imprisonment.

If the Nigerian Police genuinely enforced the law and issued valid tickets and fines for minor offences, they would be one of the most economically viable arms of Government. But the issue is that all the monies to the Police makes comes in the form of bribes so it ends up in the pocket of the Police Hirachy and not in the coffers of the Nigerian police Service. From the Station Commanders who sell Police officers to Banks for escorting money, Companies for excorting Expatriates, Rich Private individuals for Body Guards, etc to the Police officers at major Bustops collecting monies daily from commercial vehicles and thus turning a blind eye to all the criminal violations they commit at those bustops to the Illegal checkpoints/tollgates, e.t.c..

The Nigerian Police needs to be re-structured. Most of those at the helm of the Poilce are clueless as to how to fix the rot within the Police service.
no they're not
They just don't have any motivation

I grew seeing how this country treat officer, my first girlfriend and her family suffered a lot after they lost their dad on active duty. they where practically thrown out.
