LeeCodeman: It will become clearer in the coming days. He's not clinched a deal yet so he's coming home. Most of their International flights stop at MMA, Lagos and since he's based in Ilorin, he simply needs to book his flight from Lagos to Ilorin. Abuja does not come to the scene. honestly I don't know where he is based, but I believe kwara |

chaberry: You are just blaming everything but yourself. Very soon you will blame their jersey Maybe u should open ur eyes wide and read that post again, ajf said the Swiss team came here to beat us in 2009 in a hot weather and I merely pointed it out to him that the weather was not hot and that the match was played around 7pm. I neva blamed anybody. Read, digest before u quote |

ajf: Oga, forget weather! Didn't Switzerland come to our own hot weather to win the U-17 world Cup? the Swiss team won that game (final) via a header from a corner, our defenders were caught napping, the Nigerian team led by okoro n Co dominated that game from beginning to end and maybe u forget that game was played in the evening (cold weather) not a hot weather like u want us to believe. European teams find it difficult playing football in the afternoon in hot temperate regions where there are much sunshine like North, East and West African countries. They get easily dehydrated and run out of steam thereby not giving their best. Oga extreme weather conditions affect players |

TheGoodJoe: No one underrated them. But, this our team is Super and we should not fear anyone. By the way, we did not lose because we met a superior opponent. We lost because the coaching crew did not do right things. Thank u for drumming it into his head, the guy has been negative n pessimistic from beginning, wetin |

safarigirl: dunno what the hell happened...didn't even see the match. But if you had given an elementary school ccoach this team, he would've thrown everything at the Germans and gone full throttle....I mean, it was that basic.
Throw the freaking arsenal and damn it to hell. I'm not even close to being a coach, but I damn sure would have done better ur head dey there jare, he should have gone for 3 substitutions at once, bring in ur jokers but he never bulged, seems he sold d match |

mrham03: sorry bro, i know how it hurts to be out. I think manu garba should be given a second chance. Dis was his first time at an under-20 worldcup. i agree with you, he should have played the European stars but why he kept them on d bench is what still baffles d shi. t outta me |

chaberry: This is what you get when you prefer to play Germany in football rather than serbia. infact, you guys underrate them, Jeezz! Who underate Germany in football? u have been harping on this avoid Germany this and that even before we played Hungary, what exactly is ur problem? I believe u re happy we lost because u want to justify ur fear of dodging Germany, oga Germany was not the problem why we lost today but because of the stubborn stance of coach manu that refused to play his best legs in a knock out match like this, for once the Germans too lost their scoring boots, didn't that tell u they also find the match difficult? If our best stars played from beginning do u think the score line would have ended like this? Pls contribute on tactics of the coach or lack of it instead of yapping on dodging certain teams, Germany were very beatable if our coach had done d needful. Abeg say something else, this ur talk of we would have Dodged Germany is becoming boring |

gbosaa: How are you sure that you'll beat Serbia. The flying Eagles prepared well for this tournament.
There is no excuse. We lost to a better team simple. Congrats to the Germans. i knew people like him will come here to justify their unnecessary criticism and to sing the "l told u so song" to us the fans that believe in the team. Even this German team lost some matches prior to this tourney, no team is perfect, even Barcelona fc lose matches. The boys tried their best but the coach killed the game. My friend @gbosaa we go talk later |

TheGoodJoe: Even if we are talking about weather, why keep boys who have played winter football on the bench. There is now way we can twist it. The coach has enjoyed himself. No wonder he was laughing while we were crying. was he laughing? |

And for the very first time in a long while we did not score a goal in regulation time, that is baffling. Even before the under 17 ayc in morroco the team have not played any match without us scoring. They are still the compact team I know. The land is green |

We should not forget that the weather in Christchurch also counted against us, I just heard it in brilafm that the temperature was 3 degrees. Very very cold, I believe only iheanacho, yahaya and nwakali are accustomed to such weather, could it be that the freezing conditions affected us greatly? because I believe the Germans were not better save for the lone goal. On football extreme weather conditions like this affect players coming from temperate regions like Africa. I believe in this team. I love the team as always. The land is green |

The coach should not have allowed personal issues with some few players affect the overall performance of the team, the boys played well, I was impressed with the defense, the keeper enaholo should have parried that goal bound ball away but unfortunately the ball slipped through his hands. In the 2nd half the boys came out to play their game but it was too late cos the coach didn't do the needful from the beginning. The boys played well, today is just not their day. The coach destabilized everything. The battle was lost in the middle of the pack. |

The coach did not get his tactics right today and it failed us, and I also believe the ref got some calls wrong, the coach should have played his best legs in a big match like this but he refused to even make substitutions when we need them, but again he refused for reasons best known to him. Iheanacho has no business on the bench same with yahaya and Simon not forgetting nwakali, manu let us down |

Xlad: sorry bro... it was neither ayinde nor ihezuo rather SuperZ's goal which ayila cancelled with her celebration and it was just last year or 2013... Popps was oparanozie's mate which we met in the finals in germany about 5 or 6 years ago and the won by 2-0...
I really hope both Flying Eagles and Super Falcons to do much better.. Germany ended the journey of our worst F.E in egypt few years ago. Probably this is the time for revenge. u re right bro. Popp the highest goal scorer in that tournament is even in this present German female team that banged ivory coast 10-0 some days ago. |

Dega128: Well does it really matter where it happened u re right my brother, it was that damn game in calabar against the bifouma led side that costs us the AFCON though we had other chances to make up by at least beating sudan (which we lost)away and beat south Africa at home in uyo and we would have qualified but NO our boys bungled everything. still a sour taste in my mouth, i mean the non-qualification. |

gbosaa: I do mind you. In fact na me liked your initial post. I think they can win both.
Can the flying Eagles win the under 20 FIFA World Cup? Yes. Would it be a surprise of they won? No. They can do it.
Can the Falcons win too? Yes they can. Would it be a surprise if they did? Maybe yes considering the presence of USA, Sweden, France and Japan. They can do it. We've always done well in the aged group but haven't really done well at the main World Cup.
Nigeria met Germans few years ago with the likes of popps in their line up and lost on technical ground even after playing well with the likes of iroka doing well in midfield. If ayinde hadn't being over zealous, we would have won the last under 20 when I think it was ihezuo's goal bound effort that she helped inside the net in an offside position.
We have beaten England, USA etc in aged group. I think with a good technical crew and faith, this girls can shock the world. They can beat USA. The only team I'm a bit worried about is France. bro ur post make sense die, im very optimistic we will do well in these FIFA tournaments ongoing in new zealand and canada, u think france female team is a threat in the female world cup? im more concerend about the USA, brazil, japan and maybe Sweden. anyways since u ve mentioned them i will look out for them (France). but i believe our girls will surprise many. the land is green |
