Hmm....less than 12 hours to game time.

Make una pray for those boys cuz tomorrow's game will be their biggest game this entire tournament. If somehow, they overcome Germany, then by all means, they become top title contenders by way of knocking out the best team so far.

May the spirit of Senegal's Sy enter Enaholo

May the skills of the Malians reflect upon Awoniyi and co....

May the luck of Serbia be with Nigeria

And may the persistence of USA be imbibed by our boys

Can I get an Amen?
ameeeeeeen

After watching the highlights of the German European triumph on YouTube, one thing actualized into a certainty for me, tomorrow's match is going to be a very difficult one for Nigeria. This German side is a well oiled machine, they play with one mind, and most importantly, they're ruthless. They are very big on wing play, so our our full backs have their respectively jobs cut out for them.

I'm by no means fazed by Germany, and I believe that our boys can beat them convincingly if they take their game to the next level, but they should by on no account allow this Germans to counter attack them at any point in time, cuz, they are very deadly at it.
they do well playing against European opposition but against a well organized, strong, skillful and ruthless Nigerian side will be a different ball game, let the ball do d talking, Thursday is some couple of hours away. We re coming out victorious.

The keeper is very good , he denied us of so many goals in the AYC , until " the Hangman " Bulbwa execute him ... I pitied his funny look when the ball entered the net ....Africa is becoming more mature and our reign may last for many years in the world football .
i just love his confidence, if only we have half of that in enaholo, the guy is good

i know d crew will do d needful. But our guys will strike them like lightening within 90mins come tomorow. The only time this team played 90mini wit out a goal was during d u-17 AYC championship against d Ivory coast. As long as our defence is not letting in goals i'm sure by God's grace our attack will deliver. Fly Super flying Eagles
our attack always deliver, i don't remember a match when we fail to score a goal in regulation time, and mind u we hardly score one, we score more than a goal in matches. tomorrow will not be an exception.

lmao, i didnt say they arent tough but our motivation isnt always there. We go for the ultimate and when we dont get it, bronze doesnt matter to us. Btw, there's no way mali will beat us in an afcon qualifier, group match or a fifa worldcup qualifier.
what about congo? cos i understand they just beat ur under 23 team. bro any african team can surprise ur boys these days

guys check out the heroic saves of the Senegalese keeper ibrahim sy against Ukraine. the guy is good. reminds me of adeboye in our under 17 winning squad penalty kick against spain in the final in Korea.

So Senegal's goalie, Sy, is showing up the Ukrainians. 2 saves @honeric01, abeg if na miss tell us, if na save tell us. Calling a save a miss is like failing to acknowledge the goalie's brilliance
Senegal's goalie, Sy saved 3 penalties. that keeper is superb. guy is good

i have seen the games of all the teams u mentioned, i will say they are all gud sides but that doesnt make them unbeatable, we jux saw what mali did to ghana who won her group.... Nigeria is as strong as portugal, germany and brazil. The coach made a mistake in the first game by starting players who havent been in the team for some time but he corrected that and now the team is okay... They can beat any team in this tournament provided other things go well for them.
very true

...and the Hungarians are sent packing! Needful to know that the Serbians played the whole of extra time with 10men and still nicked that winning strike. They weren't 'easy opponents' as we had envisaged.
oh now u know, i remember u were one of those skeptical fans advocating for us to play to a draw in order to dodge the Germans and play the Serbians. so u can see there are no easy teams at this stage of the competition. because u topped your group does not mean u cant be beaten by the 2nd placed team in the other group. football is not mathematics

and u think those 3rd placed matches are not tough enough?

The malians are on revenge mission.

0-3.
Ghana is undoubtedly out.
i cant believe this, 3 nil? though my heart was telling me ghana will win but my head kept telling me Ghana will lose, i suppose listen to my head o. eiyaa poor Ghana, Mali is always their Achilles heel. their nemesis. so we re beating Mali then in the quarters.
