Krasid: worn out as in tired after facing a few tough teams.I am not faithless, just being realistic.I believe in this team but wishing to face one of the tournament favourites as early as the R16 is pure madness. The same thing happened against Brazil when most fans were predicting outrageous scorelines like 5-0 in favour of the Flying eagles.Who knows? Maybe we would have beaten (or possibly beat) them if we meet them at the latter stages of the tournament.By then, the players would have understood each other better and would be too hot to handle for any team. brazil that i watched was not that strong, agreed they won, but the fault of our defeat lies squarely on the shoulders of the coach and enaholo our keeper. enaholo had no justification to conceed those 2 cheap 2nd half goals whereas manu's change of formation by playing 4 strikers at once therebyexposing our midfield for the brazilians spoilt everything. given the chance again the best result the brazilians would get is a draw. i believe 100% in this team |

tbaba1234: I don't understand the fear of germany. . What pedigree do they have at this level. If the flying eagles play to their potential, they can beat anyone.
Another win against hungary will be good for confidence. Best to start building momentum. same thing i ve been saying here. some paper fans as usual are beginning to tremble about the likelihood of meeting the germans, i keep saying if u aim to be the beat u must beat the best. no shortcut to success. |

CFCfan: Lol.. I recall the exact same permutations were common place in the 2004 AFCON, when most fans were dreading to meet Cameroon at the quarter-finals. The SE finished 2nd in the group...and had to face the Lions in the Q/F. In the end, Nigeria won 2-1 Who says the FE can't beat the Germans in the round of 16? my brother help me ask them? because germany has scored 11 goals against weak opposition like fiji and uzbekistan means they are a dreaded side? very funny, bring them on |

Krasid: They are at their peak now and it would be bad to face them now.Playing them in the latter stages where they would have been worn-out would be better. worn out as in how? na wao o, so many faithless fans here. so krasid u also believe we re not a strong side? |

chaberry: Believe me, Hungary match have no much value again and believe me again when i tell you that Manu Garba will instruct his boys to play for draw, it's all about tactics, it's all about doing it in a smart way. Our confidence is already dented with that defeat to Brazil, and not even a 4-0 victory over hungary will bring it back cos at the end of the day we will fall at the hand of the Germans. The best way is to avoid Germany play a weaker opponent, win(probably convincinly) they tell Germany or who ever it is to "BRING IT ON". if u re still going to meet a german side in the competition why delay the inevitable now? we re the african champs, if ghana that came 3rd in the AYC can beat argentina why would u advocate african champs to dodge germany? isnt that telling the world u dont have a good team? i say bring any team, we will do the job. if u must be the best u got to beat the best |

chaberry: You guys boast more than this against Brazil(which is actually a weaker team then Germany) and still lose. The higher your expectation the higher your dissappointment and hearthbreak.. Enuff said and who told u brazil is weaker than germany? what are the factors and yardstick u applied to come to this conclusion? i laugh in swahili, na paper fans like una dey sabi fear anyhow, u just exhited fear and uncertainty and lack of trust for ur team, u really sound like u dont have hope on the boys. the competition is in progress. i will quote u again on this when the time is right. the land is green. we re the die hard true fans, no shaking. bring them on |

that was how the military men in the last security check point before kaduna (from abuja) asked a taxi driver to dance for more than an hour simply because his car radio was too loud and the military men got upset. poor guy danced till he was released |

thegoodjoehunt3: We should take this victory lightly until we scale through. Against a well prepared top side, we would pay for the amount of misses. It seems Awoniyi got tensed on the big stage and forgot all the finishing training the coaching crew put him through. the coach is beginning to fix the loopholes noticed in the first match, the boys will do better in their next match. im very optimistic we will make it to d final |

TheSuperNerd: OGA MIKRON!!! You are the boss... Our 'SUPER' FLYING EAGLES ARE BACK... I predicted 10-0 but you predicted 4-0 (u said, in one of ur posts, '...nothing less than 4gls...') and YOU WERE SPOT ON!!! Honestly, had we scored in da 1st half, it wud hv been much much more but all da same, Thank GOD!... It's still a BIG WIN! Hahahahahahahaha... Well done Godwin Savior. Great work Kingsley Sokari. Excellent leadership 'Robocop' Musa Muhammed. Idowu showed why he played every single game 4 Nigeria at uae 2013 and senegal 2015(he's the guy with 8 lungs, in fact). Isaac 'the beast' Success, YOU ARE INDEED THE MAN! Awoniyi weighed in with 2 assists, nice one, BUT he nids to step up his finishing and goal conversion rate asap. I guess the pressure/tension got to him as did others in the first half (IF NOT EH! NA '10' Korea for carry go back to their hotel today. But like I told Sir Lardy96, the bag korea take bring today dey too small to contain 10 gls. It cud only take 4... *big smiles*).
Alrite!!! Watch out World! THE SUPER FLYING EAGLES LED BY THE INSPIRATIONAL AND NO NONSENSE MANU GARBA-LED TECHNICAL CREW ARE BACK IN THE HUNT! We're in full flight! And we no dey laugh or smile at all!
GO GO GO SUPER FLYING EAGLES! ! ! ! ! ! ! my brother i commend u too. u with the likes of my good friend AIG and linked, not forgetting tbaba and joseph re indeed true fans of this great, great team, our boys re back, AWONIYI: fights for the team not playing selfishly to the gallery, with 2 assist already. watch out for this great dude in our subsequent matches, ur goals will come, SAVIOUR (our saviour), what a player, i noticed this boy's huge ball talent in the super 8 in the abuja national stadium where he played for the siasia led under 23 dream team, i know we have another musa yahaya in the lad. sneaky and dashing runs, fleet footed, good dribbling skills, a good passer of the ball and above all an eye for goals. ISAAC SUCCESS: what more can i say, 2 games with 2 goals already. the beast we call u. u re the real deal. i lack adjectives to describe u my man. YAHAYA: nimble footed, trickery on the ball, the iniesta of our team. the world will see what bundle of skill u trully are, this is ur time. SOKARI: the midfield maestro but i call u the midfield lubricator, like engine oil u lubricate the midfield. enyimba wont be able to keep u after this tournament cos u will be on ur way to bigger clubs in europe. the commentator was so full of praise for this lad, the sky is ur starting point. coach manu garba thank u for resting our wonder kid Kelechi Iheanacho, like cisqo sang in his song UNLEASH THE DRAGON, we will unleash this lion in our last group game against hungary on sun. second round here we come. green white green for life. the land is green. @Thesupernerd lets enjoy our victory |
