Politics › Breaking: Gabriel Suswam, Segun Aganga And PDP Chieftain Tony Anenih Flee Nigeri by mikron(op): 3:02pm On May 29, 2015
A Nigerian minister, Segun Aganga, PDP chieftain, Tony Anenih and the Governor of Benue state, Gabriel Suswam today departed Nigeria on a British Airways flight out of the Abuja’s Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport apparently to avoid getting caught. The three were last seen boarding the BA flight scheduled for an 8:00am departure to London. SaharaReporters learnt that more party officials and President Goodluck Jonathan’s aides, ministers and several appointees have either fled or planning to flee the country afraid that incoming President Muhammad Buhari will probe the administration of Mr. Jonathan and jail those found guilty of corruption. Last week, the Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Alison-madueke traveled on the same flight with Buhari to London, while on the six hour trip she made several attempt to start a conversation with Mr. Buhari, but the 72-old winner of Nigeria's presidential election known for his no-nonsense stance on corruption rebuffed all her entreaties. It is not known if she ever returned to Nigeria. The wife of the Mr. Suswam, Yemisi, reportedly left yesterday to Houston in the US to avoid getting caught up in the sweep.

May 29, the day of Muhammadu Buhari’s inauguration, is considered to be the starting point of change, as the new administration takes over power.

On March 28 the All Progressives Congress politician emerged winner of Nigeria’s presidential election.

Since then, the outgoing government, led by President Goodluck Jonathan, and the incoming government have been preparing for the smooth power transition, which is to take place today.

Numerous national and world leaders are expected to attend the festive ceremony to mark the end of Jonathan’s tenure and office acceptance by Muhammadu Buhari and Yemi Osinbajo, the vice president-elect.

Of course the Ghanaians are another team to watch out for at NZ. The likes of Cagliari's Godfred Donsah, Man city's Yaw Yeboah and Granada's Clifford Aboagye will light up the tournament also.
The senegalese got a few good talents too in Sidy Sarr and Ibrahim wadji. The Malians though in a tough group are no pushovers also.
GO GO GO AFRICA! ! !
i just love the yeboah guy, dude is good. Aboagye and the tetteh brothers are good too

UHmmm, i've missed alot(from 96-103). This fuel scarcity of a thing has just made me to have a taste of what is to live in a medieval era. No power, no fuel(petrol-transportation, gas-cooking, kerosene-cooking) no communication, no nairaland to mention afew. I came to realise the importance of fuel in our day to day activities... Various business have been shut down, house of worship can't use speakers... I think this is happening so that Nigerians We know that we need each other to survive-no matter your tribe. I do laugh most times when some folks say 'LET EACH TRIBE GO T WAY n see who will suffer most'-Mehn we never leave sef n we de experience this. i think t will be disastrous if we disintegrate. the hausas-foodmakers, Ibos-oil producers n Yorubas-consumers(lol). Well, Its Well. I'm sorry for d deviation. One thing we need to learn from Garba is UNITY- this man has shown his boys the power of unity-can't u see that in d camp... Nigeria will only be great if we stand united!
#FLYflyingEAGLES.
GBAMMM. Bro how u doing? Thank God the fuel tankers are supplying fuel to stations now. I was thinking what this tournament will be like without electricity and fuel to power our generators.
