https://allnigeriasoccer.com/football_pics/62242success.jpg
Due to an administrative bureaucracy, allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Granada striker Isaac Success has missed his scheduled flight to link up with the Nigeria U20s for the Fifa World Cup.
The 19 - year - old was supposed to depart Malaga on Monday morning for New Zealand but is presently holed up in Andalusia awaiting the personal assistant to the NFF President, Nasiru Jibril, to deliver his international passport.
The document had been sent by Isaac Success to Nigeria, as requested by the Federation, to process his visa to New Zealand.
But he is not the only Flying Eagles player facing travel difficulties as Gent striker Moses Simon was yet to be given his international passport as at Sunday.
Nasiru Jibril, regarded as one of the international experts at the NFF, jetted off to Europe last weekend and it is believed that he is now in Belgium to hand Simon his international passport. The NFF official is expected to arrive in Spain this evening to meet up with Isaac Success.
With the clock ticking before the Flying Eagles opener against Brazil, Success has decided not to wait for Fifa to send him a fresh ticket to travel to New Zealand.
This website understands that he will book and pay for his flight ticket today before flying to New Zealand on Tuesday. very heart warming news. Na dis kind news I want to dey hear everytime. |

The main squad of 18 players are due in Auckland on Tuesday afternoon before they connect to their match venue in New Plymouth.
The African champions are drawn against Brazil, North Korea and Hungary in Group E. the last shall be the first. (quoting the Bible) |

GodMode: We are not all Nigerians.. Igbos have tribalised sports to favour igbos... That's one of the reasons Adebayor didn't play for Nigeria...
Other tribes rarely get a chance unless they are playing for notable clubs e.g ahmed musa, micheal babatunde e.t.c....
Yoruba girls doing great things... we re all Nigerians bro. These tribal sentiments drives me insane. I want us to know we re stronger when we re United. Be u igbos, Hausas, Yorubas, we re one body, binded by a geographical enclave we come to knw as Nigeria. One love man |

LeeCodeman: I have said many times that forget these players, the superstar(s) in this team is the coaching crew headed by Manu Garba. Isnt this the same country that Eguavoen, Keshi (many dont know that Keshi failed as an age-grade coach), John Obu and the likes have picked from to go to the age-grade tournaments? It takes tremendous efforts to scout players and achieve with them from the grassroots. I'm not just impressed with this, I'm impressed with his tactical awareness. he seems to know his own weaknesses even before outsiders find them out. What more can you ask for?
I hope he continues with this philosophy because it is the only one that can ensure that our age grade football produce stars that foreign clubs will fall all over for. Almost every member of this team is being offered a pre-tournament agreement. From Saviour to Bulbwa to Mustapha to Musa to Matthew to Sokari. Through this man, Nwakali, Iheanacho, Success, Ezeh, Alampasu have all gotten foreign clubs. Not just useless clubs. They have got top clubs. Iheanacho and Nwakali in Man City. Yahaya in Tothenham. Ndidi in Genk in Belgium. Success in Granada in the best league in the world, Ezeh with Porto, the Portoguese giants, Alampasu, a goalkeeper, in Estoril in portugese top flight. Even the great Enyeama had to first go to a Bnei Yehuda in the Israeli second division. When last did we see this happen to our boys? These are strides that haters will never see.
I just cant wait for the tournament to start couldn't agree more. U hit the nail on d head |

AIG07: i agree wit U sir, I think we 're getting it right in term of grassroot football development in this nation. The bulk of players from this current team are from various football academies across d nation. Having gone tru d list of teams that qualified for this edition. I realised that countries like Spain n d English that boast a very good academy programmes are missing out-de've gotten it wrong somewhere... yet still d english believes that d high influx of foreigners in their leagues is affecting their national teams. Well, thats their own palaver. Thumbs up to our Academies. As Mikron do say 'Great talents abound in this country'-no doubt about that! #FLY flyingEAGLES My broda u Don talk am finish oh. |

I had that strong feeling that if he can keep his head cool it won't take much time before he reach stardom. He is good in holding d ball, a good positional player. His height is a plus. But I've not see him using his head. didn't u watch his 2 goals against the host Senegal in our first game of the just concluded AYC? He scored the 2 goals within 3 mins. Such a deadly finisher.
