I believe that Continuity will be less disruptive, more market friendly and more bullish on my portfolio than the uncertainties, new economic team, possible policy reversals etc of Change, regardless of what the fools abroad are writing. But the market is not the whole country, and how many are NSEMPA votes? zendi: Herr Hitler, this is not Nazi Germany. Or is it Idi Amin you want to be like when you grow up? Born2berich: I understand you sir but lets see this from another angle. Ask yourself why will there be a full bid on Unilever to the tune of almost if not more than 40million units today? Will you say people are buying because of the N0.10k dividend? Also note that the people involved in the equity stake are the parent company of Unilever not just a mere acquisition company in respect to that of FTNcocoa etc. The parent company intends to buy and increase their stake to the N45 mark. This is a good deal to me and i definitely would prefer to buy this stock now if chanced. So IMO, this deal might be sealed hence the spiked rally in Unilever. Sir, as always we buy the rumor, and sell the news. Think back to the Ashaka MTO. If the company decides to not increase their stake, or to offer #20 per share the caveats in their press release will insulate them from all/any legal redress. In short what I see is that the company wants to ward off a massive sell off in light of the disastrous result they released, hence the press release. Classical monkey hunting. A company with such a disastrous result, and with dividend of 10k, trading at > #34 who then say they may come to buy their share back from me at #45 is not a good deal to me. |

zendi: I salute the positive mindset. You've found a way to report dumping as mopping. Look at the volumes today Sir. In the last 200 trading sessions, UBA hasn't done up to half of todays volume on any day, not even when it dropped to 2.96. Ask your broker who the counterparty (buyer) was for almost all those trades. The stock market is a psychological battleground. |

gentop1: milikiagent-Hope you are not one of their agent?even from your user name.Do check my post they are constructive criticism, i have commend their trading system as one of the best,my comment would be base on issue that need to be address, which would be in the interest of the general investing community, not just to go well with just few people.i expect their management to work on the work habit of their staff, character, leadership quality e.t.cte] I am not a staff of Morgan, but I am a satisfied client. There is nothing constructive in any of your posts. You claim there are crooks in the employ of Morgan. How are they crooks? Do you know what a crook is? Now you are saying they should improve their leadership quality! @ all (e.g bigass), this is Nigeria. GTB was charging 3 naira per mill COT as at last year inspite of CBN regulations that mandated 2naira. Did we because of that call some staff of GTB crooks? No. If there is a regulator mandated charge and an institution decides not to abide with the regulations report them to the regulator and boycott the company. Do not insult the staff of such company on a faceless forum. |

gentop1: just read my last 2 post as advice and i am highly disappoint when people try to justify what is not ethnical in way of doing business or transaction , most especially in a financial system.pls i might need to remind you that a stockbroking firm is a financial institution ,where transparent is very essential.Pls let address the bone of contention as posted by presiade in which he is asking if morgan capital charge N200 processing fee per stock and N1000 service charge. Please if you know the answer do answer instead of justify reason why they must charge. Also go through my mail,i didnt say morgan capital is a crook but some of their staff ,i stand to proving wrong,so it is my duty to sensitize other honest investor about the caveat emptor when deal with some of their staff If seun is one of the management of morgan capital let him look into this and let him answer presiade question in a direct statement. What is this man saying? A company is rendering you a service, they are charging for the service. If you want the service pay for it. If not find an alternative. What is not ethical about that? You are here calling the staff crooks! How are they crooks? What fraudulent activity have they engaged in? Disclose it here and sensitize us all. |

gentop1: Management of morgan capital has to look into this because this charges are not ask by other stock brokering firm and not official. Also there are some crooks in the firm, the management must look into this or else they would spoil the integrity the company is planning to build gentop1: Base on your subjective opinion i guess you might be part or a faithful agent of the so called crooks in the firm but i sent my comment base on the question asked by ( presiade )which i believe is objective .why are they asking for services charges and also processing fee when account is charge for by CSCS at the transaction stage? Are they going to issue a receipt for this charges or fee? Also other firm do not ask for this charges or fee. This is the bone of contention and it must be answered. Ogbeni you need to find somewhere to park. I have quoted your 2 last posts above just so you can reread them. There is nothing objective about throwing libelous accusations at members of staff of a company you are quick to identify publicly on the internet. It is either you do not understand the meaning of the words you are throwing around or you are a crook. Does your bank give you a receipt for the Bankers confirmation? You take your time and bear the transportation costs of going to your bank to get this, they charge at least #1,000 for each one. Yet you want MorganCapital to delegate a member of their staff to take your BC to the registrars office and because they will charge you #200 for this, you call them crooks. Do you know the cost of transport to go from their office to any registrars office anywhere in Lagos? Do you think #200 can cover the logistics alone? What about the time of the individual? If other firms do not charge the #200, stick to the other firms. Your libelous post is baseless and I expect the mod and Seun to look into this. Apologies to other forum members for the long post. |

presiade: Good day all. Please has anyone processed his/ her share transfer form (for signature mandate to be sent to the registrar by broker) through Morgan Capital before? They said they will charge N200 processing fee per stock and N1000 service charge. To my knowledge, other brokers don't charge for this service, at least my other broker does this free. I have. They had not introduced this charge then. |

Dont hide behind the anonymity of this forum to make blatant accusations. If you feel something is fishy take it up with the management or the NSE/SEC. In my opinion Morgan asking for 200 isnt too bad a deal. |
