I can only fault the police for not contacting the original owner once the car was found, since he had already made a report and presumably dropped his contact details.

The owners best option is probably to contact the successful buyer and persuade him to give back the car after paying him what it cost him at the auction; this is because the auction is a legally recognized and regulated process.

Are u ok? Vehicle that has been in the custody of the police for only 8months. Because its a range rover they speedily auctioned it off. If they are honest they should call the buyer refund his money and kindly give the owner his vehicle. What rubbish. That your 2 cents should be converted to 2 slaps

If thats the case they should auction off the cars and buy nothing more than 2 million naira cars. The excess should be paid into the country's account.i mean Whats the point of buying expensive cars only for it to start malfunctioning after 90 days. Besides they are always singing nigeria does not have money.

If you are familiar with that route you will know that those okada men have bitten more than they can chew, they have complete and utter disregard for traffic. They do whatever they like on that express risking lives daily. The few bad ones among them now find it easier to rob and maim people there. That area is very very notorious for robbery. The worst culprits are the danfos like the okadas they do whatever they like on that express. The only bad thing about this is that people will find it harder to move around. Nobody should even talk about rendering anybody jobless. Okada is not banned in lagos their are areas you can do your okada business and nobody will harass you. They always knew that it is banned there and they took the risk. If you commit you just face the wahala finish.
