Looking for a male/female fwb 19 - 22 in Lagos to hang with. |
Thank you very much. |
And you don't even know why I'm asking for information. Biko, I'm still asking, visit visa information, anyone. If you don't know, please save us both the trouble and just ignore the thread. Please, if you know nothing about what I asked for, and you know you were born well, MOVE ON. INFORMATION ON HOW TO GET VISIT VISA is what I asked for, nothing else. Thank you. |
It's my money, I can use it how I want. Why are Nigerians like this sef? If you don't have relevant info or an answer to my question, why can't you move on? Will you have died if you resisted the urge to reply something completely irrelevant to what I asked? Nope. Now I know you exist and what has that done for either of us? Nothing. Just one more Nigerian to despise. |
Please does anyone at all have any information on how one is supposed to get a visit visa to Jordan from Nigeria? I can't find anything at all on the internet. A step by step guide will be appreciated. Thank you. |
Please can someone tell me how to send a letter from Nigeria to the USA, a specific address in the US, step by step? And how much it might cost? Just a standard letter, no parcel or nothing. Thank you very much. |
I keep seeing pictures of the departure terminals but none of the arrival. Does anyone have pictures/videos of their arrival terminals or just directions on how to get there? Thanks in advance. |
Please I'm logging into the application portal, after "continue" application, and instead of logging me in, it says "application form is not enabled for your program." Meanwhile my friend has been able to access hers. Please help. Tell me what to do. |
If one is in a Nigerian university and plans on transferring their credits to an American college, being in 200 level and beyond but before graduation, how does one get official transcripts before graduation? Do you just apply for transcripts the way you normally would if you have already graduated? Thank you. |
Please people, I have ALL the wealth of information I need to start the process of this immigration through FSWP and from my calculations, I'll need 5.6m naira for everything. I have an average paying job but I can never raise that amount of money. I have 4 questions. 1) How am I going to raise this money? Loan? Extra business? Please share how you got the money needed for this. 2) Those that got job offers from here, please how did you do it? 3) Those that had no job offer or provincial nomination, how in the world did you get enough points to be able to qualify for ITA? 4) I saw also that a certain amount of money is needed to show proof of funds. If I get a job offer, this is unnecessary right? Or do I need it no matter what? Please o, help a sister. I need helpful answers. Anybody is welcome to answer, thanks and God bless you. For clarification, this is my daughter's account. I couldn't be bothered to open one and she told me to 'ask nairaland' while rolling her eyes. Thank you o. |
Dear Nairalanders living in Canada, this post is directed to you. But anyone having adequate information is also welcome. This will be a pretty long post, so please bear with me. I have posted a similar topic before but I didn't get the information I required, so I'm going to do more explaining here. My general dilemma is: In moving to Canada from Nigeria, after gaining a first degree here, what is the next step that will guarantee the quickest settling down and getting of a job? First of, I know I have to work here for a while before going there in order to get some money. I know all about the FSW program. I know about going to school there and I know about the Au Pair or Live in caregiver program. Questions are buzzing in my head right now but I'll try and organize them: After one graduates with a Bsc here, what's the next best thing?: 1) Further studies there? And if so, doing what? PGD, MASTERS or what? Which one will lead to a job fastest? 2) Work for a year here then apply for FSWP?? And if so, how does one easily snag a job offer in canada so as to increase the points you have? 3) Do the Au pair program? I'm willing to start small, even as a CNA. So any and all information is welcome. Thanks to all. |
is the form for 2016/2017 still on sale. part time ond. |
Wow, who knew it was this wide? -What about microbiology? -And in Nigeria, which schools accepts Agricultural Technology, OND for Direct Entry into a BSc. Program and what degrees do they accept such for? Thanks. Sorry for the many questions but answers are urgently needed for me and my friends! Thanks!! |
For all and sundry, graduates of all levels or undergraduates of botany or any course at all, if you have relevant knowledge on the topic, please be my guests: What Masters and PhD degrees can one get with a BSc. in botany, apart from the normal MSc. Botany, MPhil. Botany and PhD. Botany? Any and all relevant knowledge is welcome. Please no hating or name calling. If you hate the topic, just hiss and keep scrolling. Thank you! |
mctowel01:I sincerely hope so. Thank you so much. :-) |
@Travellerhub Ummm...an email has been sent to the mail address you used to create your nairaland account. Try logging in there and checking the email. I just don't want to post my phone number in public 'cause I feel all weird about it. LOL. This is still a very open discussion. Further answers to all questions are welcome. Thank you. |
Also, I am aware some nairalanders are settled CNAs (Certified Nursing Assistant/Aide) in the USA or at least have valuable info on how their relatives or friends were able to achieve this feat. Please be kind enough to share your information. Thank you. |
Student Visa? No problem. But I am still very confused. Shebi I'll finish studying and my visa will expire and I'll have to return to my country? How does one surmount that hurdle? That's my confusion. I saw some countries give extension when your student visa expires though but is this automatic? Is it legal to look for a job with that extension? Extra paperwork? These are the things. Thank you all so much for your contributions. |
Travellerhub, a better standard of living is my aim really. Note I didn't say COST but STANDARD. I'm not after "making it big" or "becoming a billionaire", just a normal, middle class life BUT with standards that obviously can't be found in this country. I've really researched into certain programs like the Canadian FSWP but it seems the only way to have that really work for you is to have a job offer before leaving or to be working there at the time of application. This is hard as employers aren't so keen on foreigners, making work permits hard, talkless of permanent residence permits. Do you have information about this or know anybody that does? I'd appreciate it. Do you live abroad? |
Harmony, I'm looking to relocate permanently but any means leading up to that is welcome. Are you living abroad? |
When I posted that in 2015, I was already in school even though I did not mention it. I just wasn't happy with what I was studying. I decided to go with it in the end though since I was already two years in and doing well. So don't jump to conclusions without knowing something as it makes you look very stupid and I am very concerned about sharing the status of 'human being' with a moronic person. Thank you. People with tangible info are still very much welcome. Thanks once again. |
Good afternoon Nairalanders, both home and abroad. This post is mainly directed to Nigerians abroad, but anybody having info is welcome. A bit of a background: I'm a 19 year old female in my 3rd year in the university of lagos studying microbiology. I have already made up my mind to relocate to any of the following countries once I'm done with my education: 1) Canada 2) U.S.A. 3) All the countries in the U.K. 4) Australia 5) New Zealand. So I am throwing this request to Nigerians in these places or people who have tangible info. Please, please and please how in the world did you relocate? Share your stories, experiences and tips please. I just want a step by step guide on what you did to get you out of the country. It doesn't matter what job you do now or anything. No hate comments please, no "nigeria is still home, things aren't easy out there etc" comments either. My mind is made up. Thanks to all who have useful input to contribute. |
Hello, people. Please I really need help. I need a huge favour. Please somebody should tell me what to do with my life. This is not a joking matter. Please, I don't know which course to go to University to study, or which career I should take up after going to school. I would like a professional course, a course that with my Masters degree, I can get a well paying job. 1) Let the course be something I enjoy. 2) Let the course be marketable so that I get a job at the end of the day. This is all I want. Please somebody out there give me some advice I beg you. Don't see this and pass it by. Please help me. I was good in Biology, Economics, Civic Education, Agric, English and Dyeing and Bleaching in Secondary school, and I can sing quite well, but I don't know which course or career any of these subjects will fit into AND pay well at the end of the day. Please, all I'm asking for is advice. Somebody help me...Hello, people. Please I really need help. I need a huge favour. Please somebody should tell me what to do with my life.
