Jonathan's govt didnt hv interest in the refineries, they preferred subsidy payment cos it was one of their main source of sucking dis country. If they programmed or had a glimpse that the refineries wud be functional by july2015, they wud hv used it at the campaigns to score political points. The emergence of PMB did alot of miracles to the refineries, even without laying hands on them. May God bless Nigeria.

I think the last govt preferred paying subsidy than repairing the refineries because that was where they made money for their personal pockets. If not so, how much does it cost to repair the refineries or build additional ones that would justify paying a trillion plus naira or thereabout annually. Thank God for the change. Its not about pdp, apc or whatever, its about the right thing for all of us. Sentiments must be kept aside, lets say the truth regardless of whose ox is gored.

Its now very obvious that the last government deliberately sabortaged the repairs of our refinery or was purposely lascadaisical for selfish reasons. The repairs couldnt have started in the last two months, but something is not clear on the speed at which almost all the refineries are active and performance at near the installed capacity. I think the presence of pmb is doing miracle even without any visible commitment of any sort. May God help us.

God loves Nigeria. If Jonathan had won, the damage wud hv bin double what they did at the past. Imagine the trillions they spent on the very fierce election-they wud hv recouped every kobo with more than 100% return on investment before they wud notice that people are expectant of transformation(that wud be around October, 2018). Passing ICAN is not necessarily for the brilliant ones but for those who don't give up no matter what. For those aspiring to sit for ICAN, pls grab the following additional tips:
1. Once you start writing, don't skip any diet even if you have not passed any paper in the last one. By the time you are preparing for resit, it will be like revision, but when you skip a diet i.e. one year, know that you are almost starting all over.
2. Always tell yourself you must get to the end, even in the face of failure and frustration. The preparation could be very frustrating because of the voluminous syllabus, most especially when it is self study.
3. Be religious with your reading programme, don't spend less than the daily allocated time. Should you loose some time for one reason or the other, try and make up. This is necessary in order to achieve a reasonable level of quality coverage, because 100% quality coverage is difficult to achieve.
4. Commence preparation as soon the last diet is completed, which is six months to the next diet.
5. Go through the past question papers of each subject for at least the last 5 years to identify the areas that mostly feature in the exams so that more concentration will be put on such areas.
