Though the presence of God is seen everyday by all and sundry through HIS creations such as the sun, but the kind of HIS presence that will give fullness of joy and pleasures forever more to one personally is meant for a category of people, like we observed in the lives of Joseph, Daniel, the three Hebrews,  just to mention but a few.
The first requirement to have this kind of God’s presence is to be HIS child through the genuine salvation that our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ gives. In short, you must be born again. Always say *yes* to Jesus, and *no* to satan.
In addition, faith must be exercised, without which no man or woman can please God. Faith, in summary is seeing concrete things from the abstracts.
In conclusion, maintain your stand with HIM by being righteous and holy in all that you do in word or in deed.
Let the the atmosphere around you be conducive for HIS presence now and always.

I pray that we shall never loose HIS presence in our lives in Jesus mighty name, amen.

*TOPIC : The mightiness of HIS presence*
*TEXT : Exodus 14 : 10, 19 & 22*
*And when Pharaoh drew nigh, the children of Israel lifted up their eyes, and behold, the Egyptians marched after them; and they were sore afraid; and the children of Israel cried out unto the Lord.*
*And the angel of God, who went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face and stood behind them.*
*And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground, and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand and on their left.*

The people of Israel came to a crossroads on their way to the promised land, Pharaoh and the host of Egypt were vigorously pursuing them from behind, and staring at their faces was the red sea. Instead of them to be aware of God’s Presence in their midst , they began to panic and grumble. Moses and God had to refresh their memories that with them is the presence of God which is far more mightier than any earthly weapon. We all know the end of the scene. It is powerful.
The presence of God with Daniel shut the mouths of lions in their den and Daniel was unhurt during his stay with the hungry lions. That is great.
The presence of God is so potent that it can appear anywhere so far a child of God is involved. Even in the fierce furnace where the three Hebrews were thrown into, HIS presence was seen with them, and turned hotness to coldness
What are you passing through that seems you are alone, you are not alone sir/ma, as long as you are HIS child, HIS presence abides with you, just be aware of it, and see how effective, efficient and mighty HIS presence is.
Brethren, note that what favours you will disfavour your enemies when you have God’s Presence in your life. Lions that refused to eat up Daniel, ate the enemies before they even reach the base. The fierce furnace that became air conditioning system for the three Hebrews burnt to ashes those that were meant to throw them there.

I pray whatever unpleasant situation we are passing through, God will turn it around for exciting testimony by HIS presence in Jesus mighty name, amen.

One of the best things that can happen to anyone here on earth is to have the presence of the Almighty God. Why? This is because, no matter how embittered and sorrowful such fellow is, he/she will surely experience, not just joy, but the fullness of joy. The presence of God brings an end to any form sadness a person may have in any area of life. Not only that, being in HIS presence make such fellow to have access to HIM, which makes him/her to be a beneficiary of what is obtainable at God’s right hand, that is, not just one day or two years of enjoyment, but pleasures for evermore.
Is there any situation or circumstance that is making you to be sad or sorrowful? Worry no more, just invite the presence of God into it, and the fullness of joy with pleasures forever more shall be yours in Jesus mighty name, amen.
I pray that as we journey this day, this week, this year and beyond,  the presence of God shall abide with us , and we shall have the fullness of joy and everlasting pleasures in Jesus mighty name, amen.

*Wherefore the Lord God of Israel saith, I said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now the Lord saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed*

The Lord is ready to let His blessings flow continually in our lives; but we have our own part to play in making His promises come to pass.

In our text above, God said He will honour them that honour Him.

We must never make the blessings more important than the giver of the blessing.
David was a man like you and I, who got promoted by God, He was never busy for God but honoured Him always.

David in Psalms 42:1 says:
_As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God_


Brethren, we must be ready to honour God and obey Him always in order to remain in His blessings.

Isaiah 1:19 says:
_If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land_

Mathew 6:33 also says:
_But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you_

May His blessings continue to flow in our lives in Jesus name.

*TEACHER:* Just as it is abnormal for a person not to feel hungry, so whoever does not have sexual urge is highly abnormal except for eunuchs. (Matt 19:12)But, then since it against our master's teachings to steal in other to satisfy desires for Food and water, so also God has provided a medium to satisfy Sexual urge which is called marriage but if you satisfy that urge outside the circumference of marriage (pornography, masturbation, fornication, homosexualism), then is SIN and a CAPITAL OFFENCE IN OUR KINGDOM.
*STUDENT:* hmmmm! I see clearly now. But sir, negative suggestions on my mind are they LUST?
*TEACHER:* Can you stop MTN from sending you some irrelevant text or stop TV stations from displaying evil programs or stop a bird from flying over your head?
*STUDENT:* (laughs) that's impossible sir!
*TEACHER:* But can you delete those MTN messages from your phone, change the TV stations or switch off the TV and Stop the bird from building nest on your head?

*TEACHER:* As long as you are in the flesh carnal, filthy and unclean thought would come but just as you can delete those MTN messages and stop a bird from landing on your head, so you can *RESIST THE DEVIL AND THOSE THOUGHTS*. Ikenna, lust simply means doing in your heart what you could've done with the person physically. Lust is not the negative suggestion, rather it is the deliberate and concerted meditation of those negative thoughts which bring PLEASURE and before GOD is tantamount to FORNICATION. (Matt 5:22)Holiness is not the absent of evil thoughts or sexual urge but it is a life that chooses to resist those evil thoughts from gaining grounds within and to keep those lawful desires in check until the appropriate Time.

*Then Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the Lord ; Thus saith the Lord , To morrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria*

Brethren, the new dawn is here and we must prepare our hearts.
2Kings 6 reveals how serious the famine was in the land of Samaria; but the Word of God came declaring abundance.

Brethren, it doesn't matter what you have experienced previously, God is ready to manifest His wonders.

Isaiah 43:18‭-‬19 says:
_Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert_

Brethren, you just need to trust Him and don't entertain unbelief like the fellow in 2Kings 7:2, who saw it and didn't eat from it.
Don't think about how God will do it, because it's beyond your thinking. Just trust Him and you will experience His unending blessings.

THE KIND OF HEAD GOD HAS CALLED ME TO BE: A SERVANT HEADSHIP

I cannot tell how many times I have heard the phrase “I am the head of my wife/home.” Each time I hear it I often look at the husband that is boasting to see exactly what he understands from being “the head” and how his understanding reflects in the life of his wife and home in general. Unfortunately, I don’t see anything that resembles The Lord who is the HEAD OF THE CHURCH, other than the practice of dictatorship contrary to the life of Jesus.

The main concept of being the head of your wife began from the Author of Marriage (Trinity-God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit...I will expand on this next time.) Apostle Paul in his letter to the Ephesians in chapter 5 gave both wife and husband the instructions building on that original blueprint, but let’s examine our role in verse 25 which says “Husbands, love your wives, even AS Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it”
The comparison word “AS” that the Apostle is referring to here isn’t for you to literarily die on the cross for your wife, it is a symbol. Your goal is to work towards this perfection in the way you love, cherish, and treat your wife. Here are few examples on how you can be her “head”, not a DICTATOR:

1. SERVE YOUR WIFE: Isn’t this how Jesus loved the Church? Jesus, despite His Lordship position, served others as example for us to follow. When last have you served your wife without using it against her when she carries out her weaknesses? Mtt. 23:11 “But he that is GREATEST among you shall be your SERVANT.“ John 15:13 “ Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” Isn’t your wife your BEST FRIEND? By the grace of God you can do all things to be of service to her. THIS IS WHAT IT MEANS TO BE THE HEAD!

2. GIVE UP YOUR RIGHTS FOR HER: Please read these verses of the scripture attentively because our problem today is the lack of scriptural understanding: Phil 2:3b-5 “but in lowliness of mind let each ESTEEM other BETTER THAN THEMSELVES. Look not every man on his own things, BUT every man also on the things of OTHERS. LET THIS MIND BE IN YOU, WHICH WAS ALSO IN CHRIST JESUS.” A simple example is around SEXUAL INTIMACY. Of course your wife should not DELIBERATELY deny you of your bed rights, but there would be times when she cannot fulfil your intimate desires or demands, but you can give up that right and consider her for that moment and still love her as Christ loved the Church. THIS IS WHAT IT MEANS TO BE THE HEAD!

3. LOOK OUT FOR HER INTEREST AND LET GO OF YOURS: Read Ephe 5:28-33. A simple example is when you suggest an idea and she counter it with hers, just listen to her and have a conversation instead of fighting to be the boss (“the head). THIS IS WHAT IT MEANS TO BE THE HEAD!

4. GET YOURSELF READY FOR HER: Early in our marriage I noticed my wife likes me to have a hair cut regularly and smell ‘flowering’ when we are together, things that I wasn't accustomed to. As “The head’ I let go of my usual routine to make sure these, among others are done just for her. I’m not going to go into details comparing the Bridegroom’s coming and our preparation when He finally comes for the Church in this writeup, but I want you to start thinking about it! Before that bed exercise have you considered getting yourself ready in your mind, in your appearance and in your spirit to receive your jewel?
You will NOT die before your time, but who is your life will written to? Your extended family, friends, government or your WIFE? THINK ABOUT THIS.....!
From a bigger picture are you preparing your wife and children for the coming of the great HEAD-JESUS CHRIST? DO YOU KNOW HIM? If not how can you emulate Jesus? Why not first come to Him today?

God knew truly that the earth was without form and void, but the First thing He commanded is the Light.

Brethren, the Lord is ready to unfold his mighty acts of miracles in our lives but he has given us just a command "Let there be Light".

We must allow His Light to shine upon us.
Jesus us the Light, we must allow Him reign in our lives.

John 1:4‭-‬5 says:
_In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not_


It doesn't stop there we must also be a reflection of the Light
Matthew 5:16. Says:

You cannot predict what will happen after marriage, as situation may change, so, leave a room for adjustment. Pregnancy may not come in the next 4 years. You may get married to her because she's slim but she becomes 100% fatter after a child. He may lose his beautiful job for years that you have to take the financial responsibility of the family until he gets a new job. But with God by your side, you will smile at last.
9. MARRIAGE IS NOT A CONTRACT, IT IS PERMANENT
Marriage needs total commitment, love is the glue that makes a couple stick together. Divorce starts in the mind. Never think of divorce! Never threaten your spouse with divorce. Choose to remain married! God hates divorce
10. EVERY MARRIAGE HAS A PRICE TO PAY
Marriage is like a bank account. It is the money you deposit into your bank account that you can withdrawn. If you don't deposit love, peace and care into your marriage, you are not a candidate of a blissful home. There is no free love in marriage, You cannot love without giving and sacrificing.

Marriage is like a CAR with Gear oil, gear box, back hassles and If this parts are not properly maintained, the car will brake down somewhere along the road and exposing the occupant to unhealthy circumstances. - Many of us are careless about our marriage... Are you? If you are, pls pay attention to your marriage.
7. GOD CANNOT GIVE YOU THE COMPLETE PERSON YOU DESIRE
He (God) gives you, him or her in the form of raw materials in order for you to mould what you desire. You may desire a woman who can pray for 1 hours but your wife can only pray for 30 minutes. With your love, prayer and encouragement, she can improve.
8. TO MARRY IS TO TAKE A RISK
You cannot predict what will happen after marriage, as situation may change, so, leave a room for adjustment. Pregnancy may not come in the next 4 years. You may get married to her because she's slim but she becomes 100% fatter after a child. He may lose his beautiful job for years that you have to take the financial responsibility of the family until he gets a new job. But with God by your side, you will smile at last.
9. MARRIAGE IS NOT A CONTRACT, IT IS PERMANENT
Marriage needs total commitment, love is the glue that makes a couple stick together. Divorce starts in the mind. Never think of divorce! Never threaten your spouse with divorce. Choose to remain married! God hates divorce
10. EVERY MARRIAGE HAS A PRICE TO PAY
Marriage is like a bank account. It is the money you deposit into your bank account that you can withdrawn. If you don't deposit love, peace and care into your marriage, you are not a candidate of a blissful home. There is no free love in marriage, You cannot love without giving and sacrificing.
May God Give us The Grace And Wisdom To Build A Heaven on Earth Marriage.

Thank God we are entering into the new dawn now, brethren, this is not the time to revenge or to take a pound of flesh on those that have treated us unkindly during the dark period, rather it is the time to showcase the goodness of God to others and even to the so called enemies of progress. Why? God is the one that gives power to enter into a new dawn, and God is love.
This is obvious in the life of Joseph, the dreamer, as he forgave and forgot about all that were melted out to him by his siblings.
Brethren, as we are entering into the new dawn,  let us eschew all bitterness and embrace love towards all. Doing this will make God happy and HE shall let us enjoy the era of new dawn all the days of our lives. May this be our portion in Jesus mighty name, amen.

First and foremost, on behalf of the initiator of this group and the admins, I welcome you all to this glorious new year 2018 in the name of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. May HIS name be praised forever in our lives because He shall let us experience a New Dawn in all our ways as we journey in this new year 2018 in Jesus mighty name, amen.

Brethren, today's daily devotional will centre on thanking God for the New Dawn HE has in stock for us in this new year.

When Joseph experienced new dawn in his life, from prison to palace, imagine how he will thank God.
Also when Sarah finally gave birth to the promised child, Isaac, her joy will be great. Likewise Hannah.
Daniel was another example of person that experienced new dawn, he was meant to be eaten up by hungry lions, but instead he was lifted from the den of the lions to position of authority .
So many others in the scriptures experienced a new dawn in one way or the other. The beauty of all these is that God that did it for them is the same yesterday,  today and forever, and HE shall do it for us in Jesus mighty name, amen.
Praise HIM,  because we shall surely experience New Dawn in Jesus mighty name, amen.
