CanadaChx,people like you can put people in trouble.Why are you not specific?What kind of trailer does NNPC pay N1million for?Secondly how many people can get the deals to provide trailers for NNPC.I tried doing trucking with A.P. recently and guess what.you have to have up to 20 trucks before you can register with them.When you come on public forums like this,try to be elaborate with the audience before typing things and putting doubts in peoples hearts.My candid opinion,i am sure N.N.P.C> would not accept just 1 truck ,because i was told most of the oil companies would need you to have 20 trucks.

I am glad I can  granites and olivines here.Well,there are a lot of opportunities out there for us geologist esp.We can work in construction,oil and gas,water etc.I will give u an overview abt working with Shell,they take mostly freshers,u write the exams,which is basicall the Geology of Nigeria,the diff formations akata,agbada,calabar flank etc.If u succeed ,u move to the interview,3 segments,Sustainable development,business and a symposium.if u succeed u move to medicals.Then SITP in warri.Basically what they teach u in SITP is geology.Nearly all professions applyin for a job in Shell must go thru the basics of Geology.Its compulsory.So to all granites and olivines,jst equip urselves wit a few more courses while u wait,don't sweat ur neck abt doin Petrel and the rest if u can not afford it,just do the smaller courses,wen these coys employ u,they will train u.Esp Schlumberger,I did Petrel while an I.T. Student in my 3rd year.Schlumberger trained me fully,it was the favour of God.Funny huh!!!Wish u all success.

God has given us brains to think,Bishop David Oyedepo says,we have not used 99% of the gift we have in our brains.There are lot of things we can do with our hands,instead of looking for white collar jobs.Why idle away,when you can create jobs for people,the companies you are looking to work for ,are they owned by aliens or robots,are they not owned by humans like you?If u set ur mind to do it,then u can be an employer,every graduate needs the entrepreneur mind,that's the way forward now.
A little motivation for u,I graduated from school at the age of 21,I stayed home waiting for service for 1yr,applying for jobs on every website.I'm a Petroleum Engr,then during my service year,I decided to abandon service,take good use of the opportunities around me.I opened my own company with 2 people.We started a construction and management company.I was in charge of business development/public relations,today my experience has grown so much that big companys now want to employ me.I have turned down a lot of offers,and would only work in another corporation if its Total or Shell.Else as I would stick to my company.

My company is into haulage business,we buy trucks and deposit it into construction companies,we also manage for other individuals.U make an average of 25k a day and the truck works for an average of 20days.Maintenance and running costs is 85k,so u make approximately 415k a month.We track our trucks and make sure the company doesn't over use our trucks,we sell our trucks after every 1 year so it doesn't start givin problems.The newer the truck the easier the business.
