Education › Re: White Parents Claim Calculation Error After Two Black Students Came Tops by Minjim: 6:06pm On Jun 12, 2021 |
Simplyleo: The calculation that favored the Black was quality point average while the later calculation which favored the White was unweighted grade point average
The question now is; since the courses are tagged "unweighted", how could that have raised the aggregate weighted points of the White students?
For instance, in universities, some courses are not examinable, but the course work are still assessed, scored and ascribed some weight for the purpose of calculating grade points.
In summary, the explanation is watery. They should have two sets of awards. The Advance Quality one should be 1st Award while the unweighted one should be 2nd. I can't be burning the midnight oil doing difficult work while those that did less difficult works are also paired with me. |

aviara: PDP is a saint party when compared to APC. APC runs a mafia kind of politics. They oppress both opposition within and outside the party, they don't support anything moral, fair or just. They only support whatever makes them politically right. APC is not a political party but a political cult of hardened, brain dead, sentential, hypocritical and sycophantic members. Even if Nigeria can't move forward, let's go back to any period before this evil (APC) befell us and Nigerians will all be better of in every aspect of our national life. Anyone who still support APC at the federal level needs a brain surgery. I'm never voting PDP again. Apc and Pdp are same. Politicians come in and out of both overnight Who told you we can't move forward. You can't go back, we, move forward. There are many other parties |

vedaxcool: Sad that most educated fools don't read beyond the headlines of articles that is why they have to fact check every statement for them to understand the news. Let's be clear here. Did Pastor Adeboye use his Twitter handle? Did Lai Muhammed say that anybody that used Twitter will be prosecuted? Last i checked, we are still in a democracy. So if we all use Twitter the AGF will discriminately prosecute us? Lai Muhammed implied that ANYONE that uses Twitter will be prosecuted and daddy G.O used Twitter. So we don't need any fact checking here . |

plaindealer: The fact that Twitter is not the only social media platform doesn't mean Twitter is not liable or accountable for what they allow on their platform. We are not saying Twitter must be punished for what transpired on Facebook.
I really don't get your point.
Btw, by banning free speech, Twitter proves itself to be autocratic. You can not say you are for free while against and delete free speech, you simply can not have it both ways.
Twitter is just a social media platform, not the King of the world or above sovereign countries. So you can allow people come to your house and say whatever because there is Freedom of Speech? |

thebosstrevor1: You will leave your national court and run to ecowas court and you expect people to take you serious.
This sarap should sharap. They are what i call saboteurs.
Anyway, the Nigeria constitution and laws is bigger than the ecowas court.
It is only in Nigeria, that a civil organization will take Nigeria to ecowas because the government of Nigeria banned an American company.
Can they do this if for instance, an American company ban a Nigeria app, will they take america to the ICC, United nations or WTO
Why will you sabotage your own country all because of an american app Well, our nation's judiciary has been on strike for over one month now. They only attend to election cases. Buhari has bought the three arms of govt in Nig. I'm amazed at you people support Buhari on this. Twitter deleted an offensive tweet, it didn't delete the whole tweets coming from Nig. Why can't Buhari face Twitter just like Trump did? Why does he have to bring the whole Nation into it? Someone sent my sister some designer bags and shoes from the US. She had been planning to market it to her over 2k Twitter followers. |
