This is not good enough. If NNPC station can sell for #580 when they import it. Dangote must do better. |
If Tinubu has any brain at all, he should call a meeting of the executives at NNPC and give them a stern directive, " I want diesel = #500, petrol = #300, kerosene =300, cooking gas= 300/kg. Support and Work with all local refineries to deliver this before the end of 2024 or you lose your jobs. Those people are just seating comfortable there doing nothing and making things worst with no one to quarry them. If they say it's not possible. He should ask for their resignation ASAP and bring in new bloods that can deliver. Only this can turn things around not giving palliative to Governors and APC members |
Is Dangote Refinery the only local refinery, where are others? What about NNPCL port hardcourt refinery? Are they all not going to roll out too |
kettykin:The Sport Minister claim we had very short time to prepare. Like we just found out we were going to the Olympics this year

Maiduguri! Isn't that the BH headquarters. I would have come there myself to buy those beans as a bag in lagos is over 150k right now. If I buy 50 bags and sell for 100k it won't take a week before I sell everything. Best I'll just find some boys to sell at 1k /derica at junctions. The whole thing will be bought out in a week. |
englishmart:Adetshina was born in Soweto to a Nigerian father and a mother of Mozambican descent. She has withdrawn from the competition. She cited safety concerns for herself and her family. |
Chochovini:He won't contest. The last time a philanthropist like him contested the election was annulled and the man killed. Enemies of Nigeria are not sleeping but Nigerians are sleeping |
Zionmdde:The pastor ought to have confined the sale to only his church members. How was VDM able to get hold of it? |
elmodee7:A matter of time For what ? |
chatinent:" standing on the road " Doesnt mean hustling in on the road. What he meant dressing as a woman to go outside to public places |
If she were a footballer or an athlete they won't mind her representing SA o |
PerfectStranger:First soak your beans in warm water for an hour before cooking. You want have to cook it for 30 minutes before everything will be soft |
CriminalTinubu:But some peoples salary has not changed significantly since Gej tenure |
Estello:No one is above mistake. The quality of a good leader is to admit his errors and take responsibility. There is supposed to be a measure in place before subsidy removal to cushion the negative effect on the economy. Nothing was put in place by past and current FG. What they're saying is that, the weak will die and the strong and corrupt will survive |
Former Nigerian hammer thrower Annette Echikunwoke has won an Olympic medal for the United States in women’s hammer throw. On her first ever outing at the Olympics, Echikunwoke threw a season’s best of 75.48 m to win silver. She finished behind Canada’s Camryn Rodgers, who threw 76.79m to win gold, while China’s Jie Zhao was third with a throw of 74.27m. The 28-year-old visited Nigeria for the first time in 2021 after opting to represent the country in 2020. She competed at the Nigerian Olympic Trials and holds both the Nigerian and African records in the hammer with a mark of 75.49 m. After being disqualified from competing at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics for missing out on competition tests, she opted to switch back allegiance to the United States. In an interview with The PUNCH, Echikunwoke accused the AFN of being negligent, which she insisted led to their disqualification from the Olympics. “That’s an absolute lie. Any time I was asked to disclose my whereabouts information, I gave it as soon as possible. I have the receipts. It’s the federation’s job to then set up testing once I give that information, and they never did. “I gave my whereabouts about six or more times, and nothing came out of it. Even when they were asking for my address, they didn’t tell me the reason why; they would just say it’s ‘urgent’ and that I needed to do testing, but never explain the full situation or the severity of the situation,” Echikunwoke told The PUNCH.https://punchng.com/ogazi-poised-for-400m-medal-after-breaking-36-year-jinx/?utm_source=telegram&utm_medium=social

kingbee90:What do you gain from war? There is no winner in a war. Everyone loses. Why is the US afraid to go into war with small NK - because everyone collects in a war. When it's preventable. Do what it takes |
helinues:This as a result of year's of neglect. Northern youths have been deprived of everything humanly possible for so long that they don't know what they want again. All they have now is rage and frustration. The a Government should have done every possible to prevent the protest. Now that it has started , no one knows the end |
Even though most Western countries will come to Israel's defence. Israel can handle this threat alone. Any outside help given to Israel will further put Israel's enemy at a disadvantage. .Is Iran that can identify a potential hostile aircraft from a passenger plane that want to tussle with Israel? |
The protest doesn't have to stop because Sowore is not leading it. We, Nigerians feeling the heat will continue the struggle. Politicians are opportunist so nothing is surprising in Sowore's action. I even give him thumbs up for starting the protest. Now it's left for us to finish it peacefully. So that... Tomorrow he won't come and lay any claim |
Anyone can post on X . |
vanbonattel:There is hunger all over the world even in developed countries. What we have is upsurge inflation where there is already hunger because of bad policies of the FG. All what he's doing now are after thoughts. Before you start building a house you need to first lay the foundation. To cushion the weight of the building. What Tinubu did what fell into Buhari's trap by started building from the roof, now he wants to build the foundation - how possible is that. Protesters are tell him to go back to building the foundation first. franchasng:People said they are hungry you said you are putting in place infrastructures. You saw what hungry people did to infrastructure in Kano, that's what will keep happening when you don't put first things first. Food is priority. Salewa97:Protest are peaceful only in the south. The hungrier the people the angrier. That's what happened in the North. This FG has nothing to offer. Same Tinubu told us to be patient for 8 years of Buhari. This is the same APC with same manifesto and even Tinubu himself said he will continue from where Buhari stopped. What we except to hear and see now is timeline of when positive things will start happening. We can't be patient without knowing for how long. That's silly |
Patient for how long? This is what I don't want to hear. We were told to be patient for APC ( that the party just came into power after year's of PDP decay) all thru the 8 years of Buhari now another APC is in power we should still continue with the patient. Haba, are you people speaking to children? Since the party has a manifesto is Tinubu not just continuing from where Buhari stopped ( at least that's what he said ) So which patient are you talking about? Nigerians have been patient enough. Right now we need concrete comments like by next month so and so will be in place to cushion the people's suffering. That was what I expected to hear yesterday. That the FG had supplied so and so tonnes of crude to local refineries which will drastically bring down the pump price. That certainly support has been given to farmers and by next year FG will put further support and supervision to monitor the distribution of food stuffs to marketers who will sell at subsidised rates. When people hear something like these they will know how long they have to be patient. But when don't give any timeline, you just say, " be patient." It means you're lying. This CNG thing they are speaking of, they should give us a timeline of short and long-term achievement. We need to hear specific details from his Ministers now. All of them are just quiet like there's no issue on ground. Do they even know their work at all? Salewa97: |
Obiedun:There are many delinquents, losers and hooligans in the UK. Their rage no different from the Alimanjiris of the North though they are not motivated by hunger. Theirs is more of frustration at the society |
Bottled up anger and resentment. Obiedun: |
Dpharisee:Back off! |
nedu666:Billions unaccounted for. All the money given where are the impact? Instead things keep getting worst |
Philipponzaghi:The demand of all of Nigeria is not every demand. You Tinubu E-rats are shameless. What has proven effective in Lagos? If you look around in Lagos the infrastructure on the ground is not commensurate to the revenue made monthly. If Lagos were poor like Ekiti and we have this infrastructure, then you can say Tinubu has a track record. But Lagos is already rich and anyone can achieve something with it. The quality of a good leader is the ability to listen, empathise and make compromises. After all, the money is not his |
Many issues the president's broadcast failed to address for me You are telling us to be patient - for how long? You didn't tell us what you're specifically doing on the issue of pump price. What should we expect next month, two, three months or next year? What are you doing about refining locally so pump price will be cheaper? These are what we want to hear. What is the projected pump price we should expect? No short or long-term promise. We should just be patient.. That doesn't cut it for me. I expect more from the President of a nation like Nigeria. All the measures he spoke about, the efforts don't get to the people. You keep giving money to state govt. Sanwolu open market for only three weeks and they stopped. Was it that the money coming from the FG stopped? So many things left unsaid. I'm really sad that this protest has lost momentum. I hope we get it back tomorrow. Cos if it dies like this. This FG won't do a damn thing . |

Make una manage that one for now, he is building coastal highway from Lagos to Calabar, Badagry to Sokoto so that Nigerians can start fishing business on the coast line in order to end hunger in Nigeria, so make una exercise patience Tinubu is working invincibly
