We are playing tikitaka in defence instead of playing out the ball faster now we have conceded again in the dying minutes of the first half. This is a recurring issue
Asin dey are trying to play tikitaka for defense🤣

Our defense don dey sleep 🤦... midfield ain't helping matters by trying to control the game...anyways let me still pardon these ones that manage to score a goal far away from home

A win is too much. That Guinea Bissau game worst case scenario I was expecting a 0-0 draw.
I just dashed them that 1-0, maybe cos of the African hostile awa factor...these guys or those hungry ones last year international friendly window would have found a way to hold GNB or maybe lose by a narrow margin

Chelle wan use him hand bring Nigerian curses and hatred upon himself....you can't have hungry boys wipe Jamaica, Zimbabwe, beat Iran....and when serious game come you will now be playing Tolu and Awoniyi and some other lazy players...
I know it's too early...but these guys playing will not lose 3-0 to GNB,...Highest we play draw or make dem win us 1-0...Super chicken!

First goal against Nigeria was Galatasaray assisting Trabzonspor to score Chippa United 😂

No be league cause this one, it's lack of zeal and hunger from the players. Nwabali open eyes stand at attention make three balls pass am. These days he only saves shots directed towards him. Them don know say he no dey dive so once they drive with the ball, they just pick close to the farthest angle and unleash. Chief no dey dirty jersey.
Chief ekwulobia one of Anambra state😀🤣🤣

Lmao true sha, honestly we need to phase out so many players in this team, apart from Iwobi, Bassey and of course Osimhen the other so called established older players are stumbling blocks and are just not good enough anymore. I can bet that our U23 team would have done better against Guinea Bissau, very soon Seychelles go begin beat us if we don't get our acts together fast.
Yes oo our u23 would have given a hustling fight that day

Bros we're bad but not "Eritrea beat us" kind of bad, haba...Eritrea is on the same quality level as Sao Tome. I won't even consider Guinea Bissau a minnow team cause they have decent players that play abroad.
Kenya who I will say have the same perceived level with Guinea Bissau, played a 1-1 with Eritrea...that's to tell you they are finding pride bit by bit in their football...if they Eritrea can hold Kenya to a 1-1 draw, one day, dey will upgrade to holding Mali to a draw another day will upgrade to beating Cape Verde another day they will upgrade to holding Ghana, then before you know them don pip us Giant of Africa 1-0🤣🤣...na so Guinea Bissau take start...who knew Guinea Bissau in football before as at Afcon 2008,2010,2012,2013,2015,2017...na Nigeria many of them dey use first shine....from CAR to Guinea Bissau, another baby team will come yeye us again one day if we don't sit up..dey watch

Eritrea no be the same as Guinea Bissau sha, GB is a very decent side that can beat any of the top African teams outside of Morocco, Ivory Coast and Senegal.

Jendor, nobody has beaten us by this scoreline in a competitive game in a long time, not even Argentina, the last time we lost by a 3 goal margin that I recall is at France 1998. My brother it was a bad loss going by our records and standards.
Spain beat us 3-0 at Confederation cup 2013

Wake up call for Sekou Chelle.

It is a good this loss happened sooner that later.

Some players in the team need to be phased out. After missing out on back -to-back world cups..an AFCON failure shouldn't be a big deal. Lol

He should start preparing for 2030 and beyond. Our midfield depth is still quite an issue though injuries played it's part during this window.
He won't even think of staying, Nigeria heading into 2030 qualifiers would be a hell to stay in and coach for him..dem no born am well to miss Afcon and still have the guts to remain as coach...na Odegbami and ex eagles players(80's/90's set)go first bring out their pepeye mouth to finish him

Usually in hindsight, when all matches have been played in qualifiers, that's when Niverians realize that sos so game as the decider

See, in qualifiers, you take every game seriously because you don't know which one may seal your faith. That's submission

I am not doing back and forth with you on this today please
Oga if you don lose hope, lose your hope in peace... yesterday was not any yeye decider, there are still 4more matches to play....Even when we are leading the group, the usual YOU that we all know will still be scared that we might not qualify..so forget abeg

We can't drop out na

But you'll agree with me that that game was a decider

Just as we lost or drew game decoders in the last WCQ

Must wr always make mistakes and then resort to calculator everytime, it's annoying bro
Decider? Really?...2 out of 6matches?...that cannot be a decider naaa...we are not languishing at the bottom naa...Bro if you ask Madagascar they will tell you dey are happy for Nigeria loss, cos if Nigeria had gotten a 6pts and leaving GNB on 3pts it will be hard for them to catch up... Madagascans will still fancy their chances to qualify for afcon

Anytime I looked at Nigeria US 94 team I just smiled,do you know why, their club sides damn funny but talking about team chemistry the team got it.

Okay I think nothing difference from Guinea Bissau team, except Nigeria name

1 Stanley Nwabali..Chippa South Africa
2.Osayi ................ Birmingham
3.Bruno.................Olympiakos
4.Ajayi...................Hull City
5.Bassey., ............Fulham
6.Ndidi...................Besiktas
7.Oyenka..................Coventry
8.Akor.....................Venezia
9.Awoniyi................Coventry
10.Iwobi...,.............. Fulham
11.Lookman..............Atletico Madrid

We're overrating our team.
Baba Besiktas na Turkish giant, Athletic Madrid na Spanish giant,Olympiakos na Greek giant, Fulham is an EPL midtable consistent team, Hull and Coventry are playing in the best league in the world...compare to all those unknown names/unknown leagues those GNB players play in

Omonia 29M
Brest
Athletic Bilbao

Thank God the young boy didn't started, some would said "Oh, sincerely am not really blaming the players cuz looking at the team tactically yesterday we need someone like Chuckwueze to hold on to ball drawing players to himself and reason why I don't know why Chelle failed to start Uzor.

In the first half Ajayi wasn't and our local boy Nwaiwu who started from sanding ground would have done better in the second half.....Ndidi and Oyenka were just busy doing nothing and Iwobi cannot be doing passes alone..our midfielders were off.
What's pains me in Chelle matter is, why is he discarding prospective talents that have displayed moments of brilliance in previous test games....vs Poland, vs Portugal, Vs Zimbabwe, vs Jamaica, we have had more than 8players put together from defense to midfield to attack that shone brightly, why is is sticking with Ajayi,Awoniyi,Tolu "the world cup 2026 qualiiers failures"

Una don open this una rubbish calculator

Guess what, not every team has a poor mentality like the SE

It's also possible the guineas wikln the remainder of all their games too, abi you think that those boys haven't been energised by what happened
You for say make we no play qualifiers again na...You are trialing by 3pts and -2GD you say make we no get small hope abi?...This is not like the world cup group where Osimhen joined the race while we were at the bottom 2 with 6teams on 3pts...Waking up to the right mentality we should start playing good game...abi no b the same super eagles guys went to Rwanda and won 2-0, went to Lesotho 2-1, beat Benin 4-0 and dispatch teams at the Afcon?...baba na spark and ginger this lazy guys need to get up and running, if we put pressure on the chase, GNB may likely fragment, they are not SA or CIV or DRC... except if Chelle has lost his lucks and tactics

Nigerians are playing in weak leagues...GNB wey beat us yesterday dey play for Barca,Madrid,Mancity abi?
This crop of eagles are just too lazy, toothless, cowards, and lacks character abeg.
If everyone can add that aggression we see in defense like Bassey and in attack like Osimhen we won't be losing 3-0 to GNB...if it were CIV or Senegal beating us 3-0 I will agree it's due to them having players playing in top leagues against our boys playing in weak leagues

Oga with Chelle diamond formation yesterday,Ilenikhena would do nothing and only Osimehn would have tried..... very porous midfield that gave nothing to the attack and opened the defenders to costly mistakes...Ndidi,Oyenka and Iwobi messed things up and tactically Chelle was exposed, nothing stopped Uzor from starting since Chuckwueze wasn't available, removing Awo instead of Akor?Ajayi shouldn't have started second half,Nwaiwu a local boy would have done the needful on that bad pitch, very terrible match from eagles
Bro did you see the cameo appearance Ilenikhena had yesterday...imagine him starting that match, we would have lost but George would have registered 1 or 2goals...Awoniyi,Tolu,Akor are just toothless strikers them no sabi

Players that should be on probation:

Chukwueze
Iwobi

Players that should be introduced:
Any of the U23 players that impress against Russia
Gift Orban
Tim Iroegbunam
Akinsanmiro
(Feel free to add more)
I wanna see that Bewene,Naiwu,Benjamin Frederick pairing with Bassey at the defense...we need young boys that wanna make name abeg...all those Ajayi should be retiring alongside with Ekong, even Osayi...Since after Afcon 2023 Ola Aina has been playing rubbish for super eagles, since after Lookman won the AFPOTY he has been playing rubbish in super eagles, nobody should come and bug me with "Lookman is a tournament player" baba Lookman and Akor thrived at Afcon simply because of Osimhen's presence...go and watch all our Afcon from 2023 to 2025, Osimhen's darting runs and bullying runs draws defense to him leaving space for Akor/Lookman to have a good Afcon campaign...abeg bring in Femi Azeez,Zadok Yohana let's young hungry boys come and show themselves biko.

Just watch as all of them will go back to their clubs now and start scoring mumu goals especially that girl striker with pink lips...

I don't even wanna talk about the Russia friendly.. Iheanacho has been scoring for Bursapors, just put him vs Russia, na so he go dey open mouth like elede
