I regret the bashing I follow give Okoye that time. Nwabali messed up. Even his position in the 3rd goal was awkward though the defenders gave to much space.
Omo I no defend this mumu super eagles again abeg....3-0 just fecking too much meehn

The uncomfortable truth is that this generation of players are easily the worst set we've ever seen in the history of Nigerian football, I don't think any other generation comes any closer.

The 2013 generation under the late Steven Keshi were arguably less talented but somehow delivered more, even the Osaze and Mikel Obi set never failed to deliver. We go back to the early 2000 generation and the story is the same, they were never liked by the fans and media but they ALWAYS delivered, this current generation are the most media-pampered set, fans suck up to them cause they look flashy and have friends and fanboys on social media, but in crucial moments when they needed to stand tall, they always fell apart.

Emenike and Ideye Brown as unpopular as they were had a far better record than Osimhen but with less hype...Seriki of Turkey only knows how to statpad against small teams...never shows up in big games for us. Imagine missing 2 world cups and potentially an AFCON...all hype. Only Iwobi and Bassey from this set can look back on their stint and say they gave their all...the rest are more or less forgettable at best.

Pls bring on the Zadok and Femi Azeez generation as we prepare for 2030, I'll rather we succeed or fail with new ideas and youth, at least the youth will have more learning curves to get better.
Baba you no like Osimhen walai🤣🤣...Only Iwobi and Bassey can look back and say they gave their all...This is just big lie abeg... at least you said Osimhen Osimhen love to statpad against minnows, bro it means if he had played Madagascar and GNB we won't be in this situation...baba Osimhen is the only player then plus Bassey and the Iwobi you mentioned can say yes they gave their all.... except Osimhen forges injury then I will go with Bassey and Iwobi, if his injuries are real then bro cut Osimhen some slack abeg...that guy is very patriotic with super eagles matter

Except some massive turn around is done, walai Chelle has really dented the love many has for him with this shambolic display...3-0 is too much from a Minnow, he has shattered the little hope Nigerians we're beginning to have for super eagles walai... Except he beats Tanzania home and away mercilessly before people can love him again

He discarded all these players for reasons best known to him and stuck with the old guards, these players gave you a style of football we all loved during the unity cup and friendly games...yet somehow Chelle is too cowardly to stick to what worked for him because he's afraid of probably offending the "experienced players". I can bet that the unity cup team would have fared way better against Guinea bissau than the rubbish we saw today.
Asin eehnn what is now the need of playing those guys...those boys beat Zimbabwe and Jamaica at the unity cup oo 2-0 and 3-0 respectively ooo, so why are u scared of playing them against Madagascar and Guinea Bissau naaaa....all this Ndidi and co don wash finish naaa

Akom Adam's, has really lost form. Look at when George came in, Nigeria almost scored. As a striker you need to position or look for space so that you can received pass and scored. Adam js really lost it.
The coach is just playing in base on he's form in Afcon.
Like why did he Bench Ilenikhena?...that guy was lively in that few mins he came on..

Sudan
G Bissau
Gambia will all wanna beat Nigeria now
Pray make Cabo Verde, Angola or South Africa 😅 no catch naija now
Past glory
grin, we better face reality
We’ve got weak players in the midfield, defense, goalie & attack that lack pace
It shows why we couldn’t qualify for 2 world cups
We hype & hail our players like they play in Barcelona, PSG, Bayern Munich, Liverpool, Arsenal etc
When they play in tier 3 teams and below
Only Lookman plays in a Tier 2 team grin
Shocked they’ve not appointed Falcons coach since, until Falcons fail to qualify for Olympics
Nigeria government will finish us patapata undecided
I don’t see any country battering Senegal, Morocco & Egypt like this away from home
Is Ben Fredricks 100% fit to play ?
Bro na only for Qualifiers this guy's dey always look beastly against us...if we met them at Afcon we usually dispatch them...why can't we solve this qualifiers problem for once eehhnnn
Angola stopped us from going to 2006 WC
Junior Congo and Sudan stopped us from going to Afcon 2015
Guinea stopped us from going to Afcon 2012.
Benin, Lesotho, Zimbabwe,SA stopped us from going to 2026 WC...

The only time top teams stopped us in a qualifier was in 2017 Afcon where Egypt stopped us and 2022 WC where Ghana stopped us

The team that played against Portugal and Poland and in the Unity cup, why Chelle dey troway face for them...
Bewene
Alhassan Yusuf
Otele
Emmanuel Fernandez
Igoh Ogbu
Tochukwu Nnadi
Rafiu Durosimi
Samson Tijani
Igboke
Nwaiwu
Even Benjamin Frederick.....or was there call ups for those matches just in vain with no hope of gradual integration into the super eagles?
For this senior super eagles player to collect 3-0 and winning a lean 2-1, Chelle should not be scared of taking out some players then

It is more than just 3 points trailing. Check the goals difference.
Yeah true, but going by the argument of 9ja/Gha chances..it's also very difficult for them...they are on -4 GD and the teams ahead of them would also be having huge GD

They still have a better chance of qualifying than us. Two teams will qualify from their group, unlike ours, where only one team makes it through.
Which better chance for where...if CIV beat Somalia, the will move to 6pts... In November window Ghana will play Somalia home and away(okay they will use Somalia to gather their 6pts) before they now welcome CIV at home and travel away to Gambia...baba Ghana don jah walai...Nigeria have a better chance than Ghana...we are just 3pts trailing the table topper

2-0 could have been okay now we conceded a third. These guinea Bissau team is also made up of foreign players, when super nerd said they've gotten Beto I became uneasy. As we dey find goals they will sit to hit on the counter like today. We just have to hope Madagascar takes points off them while we win our double header against Tanzania. I'm so livid with the performance of this team
Benin get more foreign players pass them and Benin just needed a draw to enter the play off and win to qualify 🤣🤣....boom!! 4-0

The 2-1 against Madagascar was an eye brow raiser... honestly if George would play, he should have started the match and make way in second half...that first half was so poor that we didn't even disturb their defense

I doubt we can win them 3-0 even with osimhen
Bro e b like una no know the kind ginger and aggression Osimhen dey always bring come super eagles.. Especially when we will be meeting again on last match day...the thing is just to keep close 3pts tab on them...we must not allow it widen..else otilor

This guys have picked the ticket already even if we beat them they will qualify with goals or head to head

All true but doesn't change the fact that a team cannot play consistent build up football on this pitch. You will have to go long as the Guinea Bissau players are doing and effectively turn the game to basketball.
A well prepared team will at least avoid defeat.. pitch bad no mean Guinea dey beat us 3-0, when no be SA or Ghana or Mali...this is bad
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by minsfelix2: 6:56pm On Sep 29
Way forward now is to ensure we just keep the trailing to Guinea Bissau by 3pts since they will still come to Nigeria...our next game in November is a double header vs Tanzania....make dem beg Osimhen he should put us in mind...all this injury injury(though not his fault) is really affecting us...before we can start thinking of life without Osimhen, let him come and blend with Ilenikhena..all this Tolu,Akor, Awoniyi etc can't take us anywhere

Even Real Madrid will lose to these guys on this pitch. Just watch how the ball moves on the grass each time a pass is made shocked
So Guinea Bissau has never lost here before abi.
2021 qualifier Senegal beat them here
2023 Nigeria beat them here
2025 Mozambique beat them here
Abeg this crop of super eagles no serious abeg

If everyone dey fear injury make we kuku forget the match...This match need a game changer.
If you are to bring in Chukwueze, he will need an Osimhen kinda player that understands his crosses.
Remove that Akor and Awoniyi abeg...if George is fine bring him in and pair him with that Tolu of a girl, let's see what they can do
