Even osimhen won't save us with this kind of gameplay. No creativity whatsoever. All of you saying chukwueze is not good hope you can see.He takes the creative burden away from iwobi.
I go bet my money, Osimhen would have hustle ball from midfield to create space for Akor...no dey wine Osimhen ooo...

Na why some of us always insist on physicality be this we need more combative kind of players in the eagles especially in matches like this on this kind of pitch this our soft touch style na minus o
Yes naaa..that's why I first weak as I no see Ilenikhena...that's the only player that can hustle his way to some extent, especially with Jam body football

Nigeria 2-0 Guinea Bissau (Afcon 2021 in Cameroon without Osimhen)

Nigeria 0-1 Guinea Bissau(Afcon 2023 qualifiers played in Abuja with Osimhen)

Guinea Bissau 0-1 Nigeria (Afcon 2023 played in CIV with Osimhen)

Guinea Bissau ?-? Nigeria (Afcon 2027 qualify without Osimhen) will the super eagles come out top?

Lagos, Abuja or Abeokuta would have been the best places in my opinion. Cos that way the players fly directly from obodo oyinbo instead of connecting local flights. If the SE play in Lagos, of course they can't get close to the players because of heavy security but it's the fans I pity.
I was at Teslim Balogun stadium in our Afcon 2021 qualifying match against Lesotho, we won that match 3-0... outside the stadium the security was very very tight, while they were leaving the stadium in their team bus..there were heavy security front and back...then no born any street urchin well to near them....people just gathered around the bus hailing and cheering them on as if they just won Afcon .
That particular edition super eagles played in 3 different home Venues From Uyo 2-1 win vs Benin to Ogbemudia 4-4 draw vs S/leone to Teslim 3-0 win vs Lesotho

All I know is that Chelle and this super eagles era is doing a great job...
Difference between this set and the 2026 wcq set is scoring goals...the 2026 wcq set under peseiro/finidi will dominate and dominate and press and press but still fire blank and worst still they will concede and lost or draw a match.... But Eric Chelle will dominate you, pin you to your defense concede goals, equalize and still beat you.
Chelle will show us that Guinea Bissau and Tanzania are the minnows in the group..we have just passed the test of the toughest team in the group which is Madagascar...If the two of them have sense they should better borrow a leaf from Madagascar (defend deep and counter) if they think they can come and play us man for man, they should go and watch our games under Chelle vs Algeria, Benin,Gabon, Mozambique,Uganda,Tunisia at the Afcon..them go too smell pepper...and i learnt the match will be played on the smooth Moroccan turf🤣
#this evening, you will di€!!

I'm watching the streams of other African nations and I'm so sorry for the mediocrity of this Nation.

Our stream looked like a recording from a Tecno spark.
Asin eehn I'm currently switch-watching
Mor vs Gab
Egy vs Ang
Alg vs Zam
Mal vs CPV
Bfa vs Ben

The quality of pictures from these matches are all giving world cup view...maybe becos we played in the daytime...but our own streaming look so 2004/2006 afcon

Even his chance before this one was very classy. He is a run into space kind of striker. I'd rather have him and Lookman pair

EElopa:
Samuel Chukwueze tried today, but he always seems to cross the ball better playing for AC Milan than Nigeria. He was one of the better players on the pitch today though. Calvin Bassey is a beast. That dude should be made the vice captain of the Supereagles. What a player. He is as important to the supereagles as Victor Oshimhen. Ademola Lookman, what exactly is wrong with you, bro? Why do you look so ordinally against Madagascar, Lesotho, and some of these small African countries? Dude, you were atrocious today. That performance from you today was totally unacceptable. Eric Chelle needs to grow some balls and sit this dude's ass on the bench next week and send a serious message to the team. Dude, you are the second-best player on this team, and much more is expected of you.

Arokadele was incredibly poor in this game. He was so atrocious and has simply played himself out of the supereagles. Why was he really this bad today? Was it just nerves? It hurts me to say this because Arokadele loves and bleeds supereagles. I saw the way he was crying in the hotel lobby on his first invite, and I became a fan of his. He could not put a foot right on anything he did today. He is a significantly better player than what he showed today. Moses Usor balled today, man. Forget the brilliant goal he scored; his touches were class, and he was taking people on. He grabbed his opportunity with both hands. Tolu Arokadele simply gave his place on the team for this boy.

Awoniyi played well today. I have always loved him; he has goals in him, and you will never question the effort and commitment he brings to the team. If everybody is healthy, he will not be on the team, but he is a player that Eric Chelle will always not hesitate to call in if injury in the CF position mounts. George Ilekhenna and Victor Oshimhen are levels above the rest. He will start alongside Oshimhen if everybody is healthy.

Akor Adams stock is falling fast. He needs to sit up, or he will be out of the team. He was atrocious today. I watched him this season for Vanezia, and I have not been impressed with his performances this season. The question now is, were his AFCON performances a fluke? Why did Sevila get rid of him cheaply, and no major clubs really came for him? I don't really think Akor Adams, talent-wise, is in the top 5 position among our centre forwards.

Wilfred Ndidi's performance together should be a warning sign to Eric Chelle that he has to find a capable replacement for Ndidi since he seems not fancy on Onyedika, which I actually agree with him on especially with regards to his 442 diamond formation. Onyedika is a double pivot DM. He has to find a replacement, or he has to alter his formation because Ndidi cannot simply cover the ground like he used to do. Ndidi and Moses Simon to me should slowly be phased out of the supereagles.

All in all, 3 points in the bags thats all that matters
Akor's type of striker needs a hustler to ball with him and feed/create space to run for him... George is new and won't immediately start doing what Osimhen usually do for him...You see that George, playing that way without an Osimhen vibe is the real deal.
I mean, let's just go back and watch that his goal again...see the pacy run and cool placing of the ball...Omo ehhnn!!
