I lived in a largely Buddhist country for many years. Religious bodies do run free food programs for the elderly and the poor every day at Seoul metro station and other major metro stations. I remember one catholic hospital at Chongno that provides free health care ( including surgeries and childbirth) for the needy.

Why can't "them" in Nigeria help the poor, why do they think of themselves only, buying expensive suits, expensive cars and jet. They run huge budgets on ads on TV, 24hr satellite TV, yet malaria is killing many in Nigeria. Our mumu don do! Since our political leaders give us the middle finger every day, why are the church leaders doing the same?
