85% of those soldiers are still in the service because their is no other works outside. Just look at the number of soldiers killed in the north and south east, go to barracks and see widows,go into their homes you will cry. There families are living in abject poverty, depending on 42k as salaries.

Being a soldier is the highest sacrifice that someone can sacrifice for his country yet the country is treating these soldiers as slaves.

You are paying soldiers 42k. In that 42k the soldier must buy boots,uniform,transportation,and also feed his family. Even ordinary gate man is collecting 50k while the soldiers that are dieing in the bushes are collecting 42k as salaries.
In a country where a senator collect more than 38 million in a month. A country where a delegate is paid more than 30 million naira just to vote.
That same country is paying 42k to it soldiers, this is wickedness.
Even when the colonial masters were in charge of our military,our soldiers were not treated so badly the way these politicians are treating our gallant men that sacrifice everything to serve their country.

I have read a lot of people saying "no to Muslim-Muslim ticket" even before Asiwaju emerged. Now that he has emerged as the standard bearer of APC with Atiku as the major challenge to him, I wonder why a Muslim-Muslim ticket of Tinubu presidency is not better than a return of the presidency to north possibly for another eight years after 8 years of PMB.

Like or loathe APC, it has demonstrated being a truly progressive party by standing with a return of the presidency to the South even after Atiku had emerged as PDP's candidate. PDP damned everything common sense by making Atiku emerge with possibility of keeping the presidency in the north and a lot of people seem not to care because PDP is doing what they need to do to win the election without considering fairness and equity.

I am strongly convinced that when the time comes, majority of voters will side with an APC' Muslim-Muslim ticket which returns presidency to the south and reject a Muslim-Christian ticket which keeps the presidency to the north for another eight years to make it 16 straight years of Northern dominance.

Atiku must be the most foo lish man on earth and a political novice if he overlooks the governors in the South that worked for his emergence and goes back to pick Peter Obi,just for sentimental reasons.
First,for the slight alone,governors in the South like Okowa,Akwa Ibom and even Wike,would work against him,even openly or clandestinely working for Tinubu.
Secondly,obi as Atiku's vice would not necessarily get the same traction as he is getting now for wanting to run as a presidential candidate himself.
Thirdly,Obi is being overtly overrated as a candidate capable of winning a presidential election,much like Osinbajo was overrated as a top candidate.He cannot comfortably win even in the SEast because not many politicians there are so enamoured of his candidacy and not many Ibos are swayed by his candidature,despite him being an Iboman himself.
But all said and done,with or without Obi,Atiku CANNOT defeat Tinubu.
The mathematics,whichever permutation is used,is just not in Atiku's favour.
So all these speculation of Obi being on his ticket or not,are just academic exercises because he simply cannot defeat Tinubu.

I pray that Peter Obi will come back to pdp so that they can join hands to defeat the drug Lord. In fact if atiku pick Peter Obi as his running mate, Tinubu will be defeated before 10am. I am not a pdp fan but I will support atiku to beat this drug Lord.
