The man who said "the farmers will make more money, cassava, agbado, beans, Ewa zgsbdjdjdhdjsjs.." has not even done a single thing to better the lives of the people.

The overrated individual who ushered in Buhari, the calamity from Daura, led many astray with the illusion that Nigeria flourished under his stewardship. Buhari blamed Jonathan throughout his reign, for Jonathan was of the PDP. Tinubu, the god of hardship, cast shadows upon Buhari, yet spared the APC from his arrows of blame. In the blink of an eye, the price of fuel has soared from ₦165 per litre, with subsidy in hand, to a staggering ₦1300 per litre, still under the cloak of subsidy. And it is not a matter of debate as to who claims the ₦1125 per litre with each transaction made.

Even the Isrealites didn't suffer this much!

Farmers cannot go to their farms due to insecurity.

No money.

The rate of crime has increased.

The rate of prostitution and internet fraud is in an all time high. It's not even seen as a crime anymore on the street.

Imagine that your salary cannot fuel your car for two weeks.

Taxes were increased on bank transfers.

The police and the army are littered on the road enforcing payment of bribe. The disbanded SARZ roam the streets, flying off from Siennas and ensnaring the unsuspecting. And when you are spotted with a lighter, you find yourself besieged until you yield to their demands for a bribe. In Nigeria, you struggle to tell friend from foe, as the line between those who guard your safety and those who threaten it blurs like shadows at dusk.

MTN blocked those who did the 1tb plan from sharing. A grand deception, cloaked in shadows. They are aware they dwell in a land where the unexpected is the norm. Even the network providers may be pulling the wool over your eyes. One may purchase the data trove of 100gb, yet when it finishes, the tally may reveal only 62gb spent in the span of a month. In these times, it seems that the shadows of kidnapping, armed robbery, and other misdeeds have woven themselves into the fabric of our daily lives. In the land where shadows loom, the voice of the people is stifled, for to rise against the darkest of rulers is to dance with danger, facing the specter of treason and the weight of terror's chains.

The man who claims he built Lagos though subsequent governors of the state (not even his own tenure) can no longer mix cement.

If you complain, some sponsored nitwits will tell you that America and Nigeria are buying fuel almost equivalent so it's kinda cheaper in Nigeria. Cheaper? Is there any worker in America earning the ₦30k equivalent in dollars o'er there?

There are no jobs available.

EFCC is an emergency operational agency with closed eyes for politicians. The EFCC have refused to arrest Bello, who has been declared wanted, in a small state like Kogi. DSS is quiet; Army is quiet; Police is quiet; the DFHQ has lost her voice. If it were peaceful demonstrations, though, they would threaten bodybags. Emergency lovers of oneness, law, and truth.

If the economy was better, we wouldn't need to be reminded every 24hrs, we would have felt it.

Yet,

Tinubu is utilizing the nation's resources without our consent for his own extravagant comforts, silencing any dissent with arrests. His misguided daughter is imposing undue burdens on market people in a manner that lacks constitutional legitimacy. Yet, some educated illiterates would be worshipping her: "iyaloja, iyaloja."

Spiritual leaders are proclaiming that divine revelations indicate our nation is grappling with profound spiritual challenges, urging us to engage in prayer. The individual who shares a cup of tea with the divine has transcended the mundane concerns of where to find Ovaltine. Soaring through the skies in lavish private jets, acquired with the hard-earned contributions of impoverished churchgoers, all while surrounded by armed security, and urging them to seek divine protection through prayer. The other ugly one is selling fake items to stupid people. Dear DaddyGOs, God told me that e no go better for you and na your generations go suffer am.

History will hurt.

I read this to the end and I almost shed tears.
The situation of the country seems irredeemable.
Just thinking about it is tiring!

The cycle continues: home-work-school plus library-church. However, a few things happened this week. First of all, I got a voice note (VN) from Aunty Nneka in response to the one I had previously dropped for her on WhatsApp. I had seen the two checkmarks, but I didn’t see it turn blue, so imagine my surprise when I looked at my phone and I saw her VN. I’m so thrilled to hear from her. She told me she had relocated to Texas, USA, to start her PhD program, and thanked me for my friendship. Secondly, Oyinkan called me that her wedding has been postponed to next year, she didn’t state any reason, but she assured me that all was fine.
Another good news! my boss called me to come to the office on Saturday that she needs to see me. I hope she’s not trying to set me up with Odunayo because I’ve not heard from him since the party, so my boss calling me might just be another trap. Of course, I went, it turned out to be something else- work. When we were done with the meeting, she randomly asked me what my shoe size is. I told her that I use size 42 or 43, depending on the shoe cut, and she told me of Ejiro, her husband’s niece that was in the country from the States doing some business. She would like me to meet her and hear her out, I agreed. Doc called Ejiro and told her to get a cab and join us at the office. My people, when she came, I greeted her as “ma” before Doc said she’s only 22 years and had just finished college. What! How can a 22-year-old be this huge? AMERICAN WONDER INDEED!
Anyways, Ejiro is in Nigeria to launch her shoe business named “Big Feet.” Big Feet is a store where people with big feet can shop conveniently. O make sense gan, that’s a very good idea. I can totally relate with the difficulty of buying shoes in Balogun market, or any other market for that matter. I also learnt that one can design their shoe and it will be produced for you. I shared some of the challenges I’ve had as someone who has large feet and promised to take her to where I usually get some of my shoes, that is, if they have any because most times, I just call the guy and tell him what I need so he can be on the lookout for me. Ejiro told me she had some sample shoes and asked if I would be interested in taking some photos. Of course, I agreed. Moreover, they are just feet pictures.

Sex is another issue, I always have to beg for it and when I raised the issue in anger she said I can be going to get it from other girls.

I really don’t think most Nigerian girls deserve or want a cool headed man. They will show you shege.

Thinking back and seeing only the things I did I can only can myself a fool. the chores, helping with the kids, revealing everything about my finances to her, standing up to her family for once admonishing her, spending too much time with her and trying to make her my everything.

Friends have taught me a lot in this life which I why I chose to avoid friends and focus on my wife and family but this woman is making those same guys I abandoned for her call me a fool.

If there’s an altercation, she turns on off the TV and sound system so the neighbors can hear everything.

Is it wrong to be a good man and want your wife to be your best friend.

If this marriage finally fails, the next woman I will date will see another version of me

I stopped doing that when I caught someone peeping through my door sometime around last year. The idiot taught I was asleep and came for his occasional "check-up"!

Good afternoon all. Thanks for your prompt response and suggestions here and there concerning my ailment.
I used herbal concoction for a while, then I followed my eldest sister's advice and I went to the General Hospital to run some tests (somebody suggested it here too)
The tests came out positive on tuberculosis.
I was placed on medication and other dos and don'ts.
I am to use the medications for 6 months (I'm almost through though),and I'm 90% alright now. Thanks once again. God bless y'all.
