Merry Christmas mummies. Been trying to conceive for about 2 years and thought all was fine with me until I did the hormone test and the result came out negative (imbalanced hormone). Gyn prescribed a drug (bromergon). My concern now is it makes me want to throw up and I actually did throw up eventually, Gyn said its the side effect. Please who has ideas about this drug and how long long do I have to take it before I conceive?. Thanks

That drug is for high prolactin. Nausea, vomiting and dizziness are the main side effects.

Most times the body adapts and the effects resolve. In some people the body never accepts. I nearly committed suicide while on it so I had to stop it.

How long you will take it depends on your prolactin level, the higher the level the longer you will take it because prolactin needs to come down for estrogen and progesterone necessary for conception to come up.

Merry Christmas, fruitful mothers and fathers. Please help your sister. I don't normally menstruate unless I bring my prolactin down. I took 2 bottles of dostinex around July /August and AF started. I started o inductions tracking and triggers but no bfp. However noticed that milk secretion has started again. Decided to leave my body this dec to enjoy hols and start dostinex in January. AF started 2nd, we bd on cd 11,ovulated on cd 14(oga no gree bd)expecting af again tomorrow cd 26. I have 25-27 day cycle. However started having very serious right pelvic pain on 7dpo. By 9dpo it has spread all over my womb area with serious cramps and vomiting. Yesterday 10dpo/cd24,I saw blood and believed af had come, put my pad. Few hours later I checked and it was just dark brown spot and that is all till today. I have done pt and it is bfn. Is it that the amenorrhea is coming back or what. The right pelvic pain is still on as painful as ever,I am so weak and sleepy, nothing stays in my tommy, my mouth is tasting somehow. Please my people what should I do?

Wonderful mothers and fathers, compliments of the season to you all. Christmas is just a few days to come and another year will be ushered in. May we be blessings to the fatherless and motherless this season, let us sow seeds of faith this season. I want to suggest that we use the money we were to use in buying clothes for our children in buying gifts for children in the orphanages. Buy the goodies, call your children by name and show them what they are missing so that they will be around by next Christmas. Let us tell those kids to pray for us, God does not play with children's prayer. He will answer. Let us relax, make merry and count our blessings one by one. 2018 will usher in testimonies. Fertility blessings.

awwwww. thats sad...ovulation pressures affect males too. with temporary ED, but that doesnt seem to be th e case with ur DH.
PERHAPS U R NAGGING him too much over the baby issssh?

hv you guys been to a hospital for fertility checks?..and ur dh done s,emen analysis?
the alchohol he is consuming ..reduces sperm count for many males.

if he is open to it..you guys could consider iui...as it reduces the pressure of bding during ovulation...the man ma,sturbates and produces the sample...wch is inject 2 or 3 times

l am not nagging o. He is the one that is bothered. I never knew I could conceive as a young girl because I was not menstruating so as I had my first issue ,I have been so grateful and relaxed. Its him that pressured me to start fertility treatment and those drugs are not funny at all. They deal with me. Maybe that's why I like utilising each cycle. I have suggested iui to him but he said no. It is well.

@miraclemom, it appears you are only kpekusing with your hubby for procreation sake ONLY. Please try and forget TTC and enjoy good old kpekus. I use to be like you o and the above advise was given to me. Believe me it works. Try and be your hubby's friend to find out why he is drinking. Also has he done sperm analysis to ascertain all is well at his end?

My dear, nothing is making him drink,na follow come. He has not done SFA o. I have collected the bottle, its for him to make up his mind.

Last night,at the peak of the ovulation pains he came in drunk. I cajoled him to bd ,he thrust for a long time but could not release. I was bruised with many tears on my v, still he couldnt release. This morning I tried cajoling him and mistakingly told him I was ovulating and that scattered everything. He left the house in anger. I am so confused and sad. Sorry for long post.

l feel so low and confused. We have been TTC for 16 months now. Absent periods because of high prolactin. I take carbegoline. I started it last year July and my period came October non stop till December. Was give injection to stop it and it was a contraceptive that lasts 3 months. April being 4th month to start trying dh travelled for 6 months. Came back in Sept and we started trying actively. I was placed on clomid each month, tracked follicles, even took trigger shots. Here comes the problem. Anytime I mention ovulation it is as if dh looses his mind, quarrels vigorously and we make up the next day when the eggs are dead. This happened September, October, November. This December was natural- felt the pains, saw egg white mucus, refused to tell dh. Alcohol messes up our sex life so I have been begging him to reduce intake and he promised to do so.
