Ogun state still does not have a functioning airport. Edo state allocation is still bigger than Oyo state allocation. Edo state currently has one of the best government hospital, next to Bayelsa, U will never find such in SW.

In Edo state, you have the Akoko people who bare Yoruba names but are not Yorubas
They actually have their own language.

You also have the Ora people in Edo state who are descendant of Yoruba but have their own language.

Even in Edo state, you have within the people of Agbor persons with Yoruba names but who aren't Yoruba.

I think for Delta Igbo, their ancestry wasn't initially Igbo (they claim they came from Benin) but adopted the language of the dominant tribe closest to them which were the Igbo.

I have a friend who is Anioma, grew up in Abia state, has a strong Igbo accent but dislikes Igbo people and would never accept accept he is Igbo. He says he is Anioma.

In Rivers state, the people of Opobo seemed originally to be Igbos but because they were closer to the riverine people of Rivers state, there has been some divergence in customs and traditions. They won't claim Igbo and Igbos see them as lazy

They are Igbos. Don't be fooled by what they tell U. Many Igbos denied been Igbos because of the civil war. Stop trying to convince me that people I have stayed with for years are not Igbos
