You are a joker.Everybody knows that the most educated people in Nigeria are the Yorubas with the highest number of professors which is 3 times more than that of the Igbos.
Yoruba also have the highest number of lawyers, doctors, engineers etc.
Igbos dominate all other tribes in business including you Yorubas.

SW has the highest purchasing power, the highest number of billionaires, lawyers, doctors, intellectuals etc.Lagos helps in this aspect because of its population and wealth.
Remember,it is the 5th economy in Africa.
But yet the 10 biggest markets in Nigeria are dominated by Igbos 😂😂😂.

The brightest secondary school students in Nigeria are from SE.

The most literate state in Nigeria is in SE.

That is a negative imagination from you.
Yorubas abroad are the most successful Nigerians outside of Nigeria.
Are you saying that they are being helped by the government of Nigeria?

Even when Yorubas were in opposition, they were still the most progressive and richest.
Now U have moved abroad. 😂 Come with prove. If U don't have prove then it's a lie.

Real Estate is basically 70% in the hands of the Yorubas in Nigeria even abroad as Nigerians.

As for travelling,Yorubas travel out of Nigeria more than any but within Nigeria,Igbos are the most travelled.Yorubaland have more opportunities than Igboland. Thanks to the Omnipotent.
If U can't prove ur 70% claim then delete it. U don't travel so U own nothing. It's simple common sense something.

As far as I know, nah only Igbos they find something interesting everywhere. The Yorubas are always looking for Government backing and monopolistic market to grab.

I don't care and I don't want to know their reason for not travelling. It's not my business. They don't travel across Nigeria that's all I know. If they don't travel then they will likely not have real estate across Nigeria. Same with the transport sector, they will not have anything there as well.

GOING TO MALLS, THE YORUBAS DON'T REALLY TRAVEL SO I THINK THEIR REAL ESTATE WILL BE LIMITED TO SW.

IGBOS TRAVEL SO I WILL NOT BE SURPRISED SEEING THEM OWN PROPERTIES IN KANO, LAGOS, BENUE AND EVEN BAYELSA.

Edo or anyone on planet earth can own the property in which Shoprite is located in Edo. But the Shoprite brand everywhere in Nigeria is owned by Tayo's company. This is just the fact.
I have never argued that. Tayo bought the name. Not the malls spread across Nigeria. He might own some malls, but not all.

Shoprite stores are always different from the malls.
In some instances as in Asaba mall,Shoprite too has a stake in the mall.
Okay, U have agreed that Asaba Mall and Shoprite are different. Oga rest.

Oh, I get what you are trying to say. Actually he owns the malls. Shoprite and other stores were his tenants. But, by taking over Shoprite he now owns Shoprite the brand and the property.
LOL

U are wrong, the Shoprite in Benin is for Edo State government, not Tayo. Tayo is the tenant not Edo State Government.

According to the master plan, the Shoprite will also house the Edo State Library, so are you saying government sold the land to Tayo then became a tenant to Tayo?

That statement means, FG will likely not refund states and then states will no longer handle FG projects.

Then the people will suffer, the people will pour the anger on FG. At the end the FG will be another failed president like the rest.

I am not talking about name I am talking about the mall. The mall belongs to different people.

MXrep:
He didn't even buy the supermarket, just the franchise
I just tire. He bought all the Franchise and they are talking like the building, land everything belongs to him. Shoprite goes around begging state governors for assistance and now acting like it has accomplished something worth talking about.

Where was he when Hallmark, Marketsquare were building that chain store in Edo State. I guess he was beging Oshiomole for land in Sapele road.
PoliticsRe: Top 10 Biggest Supermarket Chain In Nigeria And Their Owners by misano(m): 4:07pm On May 04, 2023

Regardless, that doesn't mean it doesn't belong to Tayo Amusan's company.
Okay now U agree that Tayo doesn't own the land and the building, right?

Yes I agree he owns the name and 25 branches. Marketsquare has 23 branches fully owned, name land and everything.

Please say what you know. The ShopRite franchise in Nigeria (Retail Supermarket Nigeria Ltd) owned all the ShopRite stores in Nigeria. This was bought by Amusans company. There is no other ShopRite franchise in Nigeria that is owned by anyone else. He owns all 25 stores.

ShopRite (SA) itself has no interest in franchising to any other company in Nigeria. It took a lot for them to even allow Amusan franchise their brand, and it's because he was their landlord at the palms and owned other successful franchises. His wife Ayo Amusan, owns the Hugo Boss, Lacoste and Puma franchises in Nigeria.

Now if U talk about who owns the shoprite malls, dts a different issue. Amusan owns the palms mall in Lekki, Enugu, Ota, Ilorin and Ibadan, but all the other premises ShopRite shop resides in across the country is rented.

PS - in related news, the Spar franchise in Nigeria is also solely owned.
Okay, but the Shoprite location in Edo State doesn't belong to Tayo, it belongs to Edo State government. Shoprite is just a name, Tayo bought the name and the supermarket. The shop around the mall belongs to other people.

Bring your proof or stop arguing.

Business mogul Tayo Amusan, using Ketron Investment Limited, as vehicle has completed the acquisition of Shoprite operations in Nigeria.

Ketron is a subsidiary of Persianas Investment Limited, a property firm..
The Shoprite in Benin is opposite my house in Edo state. Its in Sapele road close to Mega Fuel Station. The land is government land, and it belongs to Ministry of Education, Edo State. The was formally Edo State Library. Your Tayo came begging Edo state to give him a location so he rented that spot from Edo State. Tayo doesn't own the land he only bought the name. The products in the shop and around the the Shoprite belongs to different people.

I heard Shoprite was indeed sold out to the real estate company housing them in Nigeria which is basically Tayo Amusan's company.
The Shoprite in Edo state is on a government land. I never knew Edo government is now Tayo.

ShopRite sold the brand and the pioneer branches before they exited Nigeria.
And the Shoprite in Edo that is currently on a government land abi, so Dayo owns government land. See Shoprite is just a name.

This is the company that partnered Delta state govt, shoprite etc to build the Asaba Mall and this is 2016 before Tayo Amusan bought shoprite.
Shoprite does not build Malls. It is just a major Supermarket in most malls.
Undescerning or less knowledgeable people call "malls" shoprite in Nigeria.

All shoprites in Nigeria were bought over by Tayo Amusan including the one in Asaba Mall were Resilient REIT Africa has a stake with the Delta state govt and shoprite etc
ARE YOU TELLING ME THAT THE SHOPRITE IN BENIN, WITH THE LAND BELONGING TO EDO STATE GOVERNMENT IS NOW A PROPERTY BELONGING TO DAYO. LIE BEND YOUR MOUTH.
