The ministry of women affairs is created in many countries to cater for the needs of women. you will agree with me that in most countries or better put in the Third World countries, women are more prone to danger than their male counterparts .
Take the issue of Boko Haram in Nigeria for instance, 75% of the people affected most are women and children, cos the love of a mother for her kids will not allow her to abandon them during attack.
we should not also forget other problems like rape, assault, gender discrimination, domestic violence etc that women are facing. I think those are the reasons the ministry of women affairs is created to tackle all these problems(my opinion)
