yes every born again christian require deliverance, in John 8:31-32 Jesus Was speaking to those who believed in Him(believers) and He said "if you continue in my word, you shall know the truth and the truth will set you free i.e the real deliverance, taking advantage of God's word through Christ to be totally delivered from evil. Many fail to realise the bible is prophetic and certain things written therein can only be true when we engage the word, someone May say when you're in Christ old things have passed away and everything becomes new" that's true when we continue in the word not as many assume it to be, if it were so all of us would have become rich the very moment when repent, God is a God of process. Some Believers may even require deliverance cooperate prayers led by anointed men of God |

Politics / Over 120 Escape Death As Aero Aircraft Develops Fault Mid-air by miserflirt: 12:25pm On Jun 06, 2015 |
Over 120 passengers, including the Director,Muslim Rights Concern, Prof. Ishaq Akintola, on Friday evening escaped death as an Aero Contractors Airline Flight 180 from Lagos to Kaduna developed technical fault mid-air. The aircraft was said to have suddenly lost altitude, 20 minutes after it departed the domestic wing of the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos, forcing the aircraft to wobble in the air for over one hour before it was eventually diverted to Abuja. Akintola, who broke the news to New Mail, said the flight took off from Lagos at exactly 6.30pm. He said 20 minutes into the flight, the aircraft lost altitude and the passengers had to make use of the oxygen masks as the plane continued to wobble, while dropping steadily. Akintola said, “The plane lost altitude 20 minutes after takeoff. We had to make use of the oxygen masks. We saw smoke outside the plane, probably coming from the engine compartment. “At this time, the whole plane was thrown into commotion. Many passengers screamed and some fainted. Prayers upon prayers were offered. Some shouted Allah, others Jesus.” Akintola said it was in the midst of the commotion that the crew, whom he commended for their professionalism and unusual calmness, announced that the plane would be diverted to Abuja. He said, “While the pilot was making the announcement of the flight diversion, I noticed that his voice was trembling. He told us that Abuja was 120 miles away and that we would land in 25 minutes. But we were not sure we would make it. “In fact, I quickly recited the Kalimah (the Quranic invocation of the oneness of Allah), believing that the end had come,” Akintola added in messages to New Mail. He said that the plane finally touched down in Abuja at about 9.00pm and upon landing in Abuja, the officials of the airline told the devastated passengers that the fault would be hurriedly repaired and that the plane would proceed to take them to Kaduna, their original destination. As of the time he spoke with New Mail at about 9.30pm, he said he was already in a taxi taking him from Abuja to Kaduna as he could not risk being “flown in the same aircraft that was divinely saved from crashing.” Akintola said, “As I am talking to you, I am now in a taxi taking me to Kaduna. They said they wanted to repair the plane and that we should wait so it takes us to Kaduna. Allah forbids. They asked how many of us wanted to disembark and almost everybody came out.” When Saturday PUNCH called Akintola at about 11pm, he confirmed the incident and said he was about entering Kaduna. He said, “When the aircraft wanted to land in Abuja, the tyres failed to come out on time and that again caused more commotion among passengers. At last, we landed at about 7.35, about 50 minute of trauma mid-air.” A statement by the airline read, “Aero confirms that there was depressurisation in the aircraft cabin leading to the dropping of oxygen mask. And since Aero has a maintenance facility in Abuja, the flight to Kaduna was diverted to Abuja this evening to fix the problem.” The General Manager, Public Affairs, Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority, Mr. Fan Ndubuoke, said he had yet to be briefed on the matter. Politics / Senate Presidency: Buhari Tasks APC Leaders As Party Meets Senators-elect Today by miserflirt: 7:49am On Jun 06, 2015 |
•Lawan, Saraki intensify lobby •Reconciliation tops agenda of meeting President Muhammadu Buhari has a big task for the leadership of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of today’s meeting with the party’s Senators- elect: ensure that the choice of Senate President creates no crisis in the rank and file. Two prominent members of the party – Alhaji Ahmed Lawan and Dr.Bukola Saraki are locked in a tricky battle for the position. Each side claims more support in the Senate than the other. Buhari has declared that he will not take sides with any of the candidates or pick a preference because “they are two brothers.” Party sources said last night that reconciliation will top the agenda at today’s meeting. Senators Lawan and Saraki are intensifying their campaign ahead of the election of the president of the 8th Senate. The Senate is scheduled for inauguration on Tuesday. A source said the race for the Senate Presidency featured at the recent meeting between Buhari and APC leaders. “You know the President met during the week with APC leaders. Although the meeting was behind closed doors the issue of Senate Presidency came up,” the source said. “At the session, Buhari charged the leaders to get a few things done in such a way that it will not lead to rancour between the candidates. He said after all, ‘they are two brothers.’ The source added: “At the meeting with APC leaders, Buhari insisted that he will not point at any of the two candidates and dictate who should be the President of the Senate. “But he told them a few things to do to make peace between Lawan and Saraki.” It was also gathered last night that the APC leadership in prioritizing reconciliation at today’s meeting had been working on the Lawan-Akume and Saraki groups to attend the heart-to-heart session in Abuja. One of the two groups has agreed to take part in the shadow election planned by the party, while the other is not favourably disposed to it. Investigation revealed that the party leadership was uncomfortable with the possible negative effect the wrangling over Senate Presidency may have on the unity of the party. The party’s leadership was said to be touched following the latest development which has led to governors, elders and APC chieftains being divided along partisan lines. A highly-placed source said: “There is too much tension in the party on the choice of the next President of the Senate. The APC leadership will not join the fray instead, it will broker peace. “So, as we prepare for the session, reconciliation is top on the card. We want to appeal to the Lawan-Akume and Saraki groups to consider the contest as a “family issue.” “What you should expect on Saturday (today) is a trouble-shooting session. We want the 8th Senate to convene in peace.” Responding to a question, the source said: “If we are able to reconcile, we will go to the inaugural session of the 8th Senate as a united party.” Another source said: “The party’s reconciliatory intervention became necessary following the rejection of shadow primaries by one of the two groups. “So, we do not want these differences to widen .” www.thenationonlineng.net/new/senate-presidency-buhari-tasks-apc-leaders-as-party-meets-senators-elect-today/ |
Politics / Senate Presidency: Consensus Candidate Tears APC Apart by miserflirt: 2:20pm On Jun 04, 2015 |
There is palpable tension in the All Progressives Congress (APC), as its National Working Committee (NWC) looks to have decided on a consensus candidate for the plum position of the Senate President in the 8th Senate. The decision by the NWC aims to draw up criteria that would be used to determine the best candidate for the position during the inauguration of the 8th Senate has started generating tension. During its meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari last Tuesday night, the NWC was said to have listed certain critical criteria, which the next Senate President must posses. The meeting, among other agreements, had agreed that the Party’s candidate for the post must come from the geopolitical zone with the second highest number of votes, after the North- West during the Presidential election held on March 28. The Party leadership also agreed that the next Senate President must not have any corruption charges hanging on his or her neck, and should be one of the most ranking senators in the current Fourth Republic. A senator, who attended the meeting, hinted that the leadership of the Party was mandated to, within three days, present the most eligible aspirant as consensus candidate for the post based on the listed criteria during inauguration next week. The two gladiators currently contesting the office of the Senate President are: Senator Abubakar Bukola Saraki and Senator Ahmad Lawan. Two groups, the ‘Like Minds Senators’ and ‘Senate Unity Forum’, who were supporting the candidature of Saraki and Lawan, respectively, had claimed to have secured the endorsement of enough numbers of senators to win the race. While the Saraki camp has compiled and come out with a list containing the names of 34 APC senators- elect, the Lawan loyalists merely claimed that 40 APC senators-elect have endorsed the Yobe senator as their own consensus candidate. The development has crated serious confusion because there are just 59 APC senators-elect that are expected to be inaugurated in the 8th Senate, following the death of Senator Ahmed Zannah last month. Some elected senators, who bared their minds on the burning issue yesterday, expressed fears that the decision of the APC to use criteria that are considered strange to the rules of the Senate and Constitution could be counterproductive. The Party is alleged to have plans to announce its preferred candidate between Lawan and Saraki during a meeting with the senators-elect today in Abuja. But those, who reacted to the issue, urged the leadership of the Party to allow the most popular aspirant to emerge through a due process that would be free, fair, credible and generally acceptable to all concerned. In his reaction, the Coordinator of the Like Minds Senators-elect, Senator Dino Melaye, cautioned the NWC against too much interference in the affairs of the Senate. Melaye maintained that the Senate is guided by rules. www.theunion.com.ng/senate-presidency-consensus-candidate-tears-apc-apart/ |
Politics / Senate Presidency: Panic As APC Adopts Consensus Candidate Today by miserflirt: 1:22pm On Jun 04, 2015 |

Two groups, ”Like Minds Senators” and the “Senate Unity Forum” who were supporting the candidature of Saraki and Lawan respectively, had claimed to have secured the endorsement of enough numbers of senators to win the race. While the Saraki camp compiled a list containing the names of 34 APC senators -elect, the Lawan loyalists claimed that 40 APC senators -elect, had endorsed the Yobe senator, as their own consensus candidate ( without concrete evidence). The development crated serious confusion because there are just 59 APC senators-elect, expected to be inaugurated in the eight senate following the death of Ahmed Zannah ( Borno North ), last month. Some elected senators who spoke with our correspondent in Abuja on Wednesday, expressed fears that the decision of the APC to use criteria, considered strange to the rules of the Senate and constitution of the country, could be counterproductive. Reacting on the development, coordinator of the like minds senators-elect, Dino Melaye, cautioned the NWC against too much interference in the affairs of the senate because the upper legislative chamber is guided by rules. Melaye said, “The NWC is there to offer advice and not to determine those who will contest leadership positions on the floor of the senate. The constitution of Nigeria and the rules of the Senate are clear on how a senate president could emerge. source www.eaglereporters.com/2015/06/04/senate-presidency-panic-as-apc-adopts-consensus-candidate-today/ |
Politics / New Senate Bill:- Life Sentence For Rape And HIV Passage by miserflirt: 10:38am On Jun 04, 2015 |
The Nigerian Senate bill passed into law has stated that anyone found guilty of rape, knowingly infecting another person of HIV/AIDS and child s*x tourism will face life imprisonment. This was among the Sexual Offences Bill sponsored by Senator Chris Anyanwu which was passed into law on Wednessday. The bill insures that rape offenders will get life imprisonment while incest will get 10 years , another 10 years imprisonment for child pornography or more and a fine of N2 million as well as 14 years jail term for sexual offences. The Chairman of the Committee on Judiciary, Human Rights and Legal Matters, Umaru Dahiru presented the report and said that the law was meant to consolidate existing laws on immoral acts. Senator Anyanwu who represents Imo East was visibly delighted that the bill has been passed after being pending in the senate since since 2013. Anyanwu said the law will “seeks to make a comprehensive legislation on sexual offences by criminalising certain acts such as sexual tourism, child pornography and cultural and religious sexual offences in our criminal jurisprudence. For witnesses, too “The new law also provides for effective witness protection programme to protect victims and witnesses in trial for sexual offences. “It also provides for compulsory documentation, supervision of sexual offenders and medical treatment for victims, which is in line with the global trend and finally, and most importantly, it provides for adequate and stringent punish-ments to perpetrators.” The new law also goes hard after criminals who drug people to later sexually abuse people, prostitution of persons with mental disabilities, among others. This law will go against criminals who drug women to take advantage of them, like in the case of Cynthia Udoka Osokogu who in July 2012 was drugged and killed by men she met online. |

Politics / Don't Be Fooled We Are Get Close To Revolution by miserflirt: 8:22am On Jan 21, 2015 |
Don’t Be Fooled, We Are Getting Closer To A Nigerian Revolution: It was Governor Rotimi Ameachi who famously said Nigerians are too timid for a revolution to take place. During the 2012 fuel subsidy protest, Col. Abubakar Dangiwa Umar (Rtd) in his own wisdom said we should forget about the Arab spring in Nigeria. These words have been echoed almost everywhere. Off course, Nigeria is unique but thinking a revolution will never take place in Nigeria is pushing our uniqueness too far. Chinua Achebe said in his last book that “the story Nigeria had of herself was that something like a military coup would never happen, Nigeria was too stable for that”. Today is not an era of military coup, it is the era of revolutions and we are still thinking it will “never happen”. I believe when military coups were happening left and right in Africa all we did then was say it won’t happen and today we are saying same thing about revolutions. Let those in authority not be fooled, we are getting closer and closer to a Nigerian revolution. What is happening today in Nigeria is similar to what took place before the revolution of roses in Georgia. Prior to the Georgian revolution many party officials left the Citizens’ Union of Georgia (CUG) which was the ruling political party to form or join other political parties. This began the collapse of the political party that will go ahead to lose elections. Same thing is happening in the PDP today and unlike Georgia, people are designed-camping to join the mega party APC. Early summer 2002, in Georgia there were indications that President Eduard Shevardnadze will not voluntarily relinquish power, so they began to strategize. Some NGOs were also involved like Open Society Institute (OSI) , who sent some student activist to Serbia to learn about the bulldozer revolution that happened in 2000. In Nigeria today, it is clear that President Goodluck Jonathan will not voluntarily relinquish power in 2015 election even if he losses. If he could recognise Governor Jonah Gyang who got minority votes as NGF chairman then you can imagine what will happen if he himself is defeated in 2015. I am not the only one blessed with wisdom, so I believe the opposition will already be thinking of a way like their counterpart in Georgia did in 2002. The people of Georgia where already angry about so many things like corruption, state failure, economic mismanagement, poverty and finally electoral fraud. But what really gave way for the revolution was division among the elites. If we can learn anything from Georgia then there is no better time for a revolution than now. The senseless killings by Boko Haram in the Northeast, the killings by Fulani militias in Plateau, Taraba and Benue state. The attack on Enugu government house by armed men. The missing $20billion, Missing Chibok girls, award of contracts to ex-militants to import war ships and other missing cash are just too numerous to mention. The 112 million Nigerians below poverty line and now fuel scarcity. All these are enough for us to be angry . The people are getting more angry by the day that Pastor Tunde Bakare predicted that some thing will give way before 2015. If President Goodluck Jonathan dare give us a fraudulent election in other to remain in power then I foresee an uprise. This time around not only riots in the North but also well organised protests in the major cities of Abuja and Lagos and other small towns. Whether this Nigerian revolution will lead to better days like Georgia, that I don’t know. There is a possibility it will go the way of Ukraine whereby a part is threatening to secede or it can go the way of Egypt with constant unrest. Some say a revolution will never be possible because of our multi-ethnicity. I believe we don’t need to take permission from all ethnic groups to execute a revolution, we need at most 1million people out of 160million Nigerians. Others say a revolution can never happen because we are too scared but if 2012 fuel subsidy protest thought me anything, it thought me that Nigerians are willing to rise only that they need those with guts to overcome the initial danger before joining. I know our politicians will only see this article as another music which is the main reason I believe this revolution will come. It was Malcolm-X who said “Usually when people are sad, they don’t do anything. They just cry over their condition. But when they get angry, they bring about a change”. May the coming change be for the good of Nigeria. |

Politics / The Struggle For Restoration Of Dignity Of A Black Man Must Continue by miserflirt: 12:07pm On Jul 16, 2014 |
Something happened during this #worldcup that went on unnoticed at least in our cyberspace. Why we were busy cheering Algeria as an African country and hoping they go as far as possible, this is what Algerian midfielder Sofiane Feghouli tweeted after they qualified for the next round:“Thankful to God that we forty million Algerians and millions of Arabs have advanced. We gift all of the Arabs with this win, especially the people of Palestine. Thank you.” The man was clearly dissociating himself and Algeria (funny Arabs don't see Algerians as one of them) from Africa but before we crucify him we must look at ourselves again. Till Africa, especially black Africa get it right then people will continue to see us as an inferior or a cursed race. So far we have proved P.W. Botha right “.. that the Blacks cannot rule themselves. Give them guns and they will kill each other. They are good in nothing else but making noise, dancing, marrying many wives and indulging in sex” the black Africans might have succeded individually but collectively we are a failure. The same oil in other parts of the world is here but we are killing each other for it and impoverishing many of our fellow blacks in the process. We even kill and hate each other because of difference in language. Till we stop the habit of living by the begging bowl and show the world that we can also create a just and fair society then we will remain an inferior and cursed race in the eye of the world and even in the eyes of some of our light-skinned brethrens. Those who fought to librate us from slavery and later colonialism ,fought and sacrificed too much for us to sacrifice everything on the alter of personal greed. The struggle for restoration of the dignity of the blackman must continue. |

Religion has done pre-marital sex a great deal of favour by making it a sin. One of the Laws of Attraction states that whatever we resist persists! Check out: Ealiest Homo sapiens didn't resist women's nudity, women were almost completely nude... consequently it didn't persist since men didn't resist the nudity.. ....Women thought they were not sexy enough when nude and that men shouldn't be seeing everything; they started wearing clothes (RESISTING)...then men requested they cover well(PERSISTING)...thereby "shimi"(an underwear skirt) was invented.... ......As men were RESISTING seeing a glimpse of the shimi under the skirt, women PERSISTED and done what men considered the worst then -Trousers!... ......Clerics went "mad" preaching against wearing trousers in churches and streets (RESISTING IT)....then they started seeing even tighter trousers in churches - IT PERSISTED .....then some pastors wanted to use the opportunity to grab more members rejected by "trouser-forbidden churches"....then girls surprised those pastors with hot mini-skirts inside churches, lol ,why?, because the pastors didn't RESIST the trousers... Etc NOTE: Homo sexuality, terrorism, devil(if it exists), temptations, etc are PERSISTING because we keep on RESISTING them. Nature never break her own laws! (@Laws of Attraction) 1 Like |
