Please my Transmission and Gear Experts kindly assist,

I have a 2000 Toyota Camry which i bought Tokunbo in 2011, mid last year , i experienced flooding which entered my vehicle during one of the rains.

After like two weeks of using the car , i noticed that my gear was not selecting well, when i took it to my Mechanic, he examined it and said that water entered the gear oil, then we bought ATF fluid and he replaced it and also changed the gear filter too. I have changed the ATF once after this service.

Fast forward to last week, I noticed that the Drive is not moving as throttled, I have to push the pedal so hard before it moves, the reserve is moving very sharp and is not affected.

I called my mechanic and he said that it is not what he can do, but will need to consult a gear expert who will change some parts necessary for the drive gears to engage.

I have parked it as I dont want further damage on the system and I dont have money now to embark on any expensive repair service.

Please what do you think is wrong and how best can i handle this to avoid creating more problems for my self.

I did appeal on my visa application refusal and got an approval after the appeal.

I have been asked to send my international passport for them to issue me a visa.

Please I need guide on how to achieve my appeal on an Irish visa refusal.

I was invited by an Irish firm for an On-site interview after scaling through three telephone job interviews. I applied for exam Visa in September but only got my application delivered yesterday with a refusal and an option to appeal which is what I want to do.

Three reasons were given for the refusal, one being that my reference in the firm did not reply their e-mail, the second is that I submitted copies of my marriage and kids birth certificate instead of the originals, the third is the most confusing and which i need clarification;

OC:- Observe the conditions of the visa; The visa sought is for a specific purpose and duration - The applicant has not satisfied the visa officer that such conditions would be observed.


I have been trying to understand what they mean by this, the only thing I can remember that might prompt this is the introductory letter from my present firm HR where she said I will be on my annual leave during the said period and will like to visit Ireland during my vacation. I do not deem it proper to inform my HR unit that I am going for another company interview as it might backfire. I work in a multinational telecom outfit.

The first reasons is sorted out because my reference got a new job and left the company so the company has issued me a new letter explaining that my reference has left their employ and giving them a contact person to get reference from. The second reason, I will include all originals as demanded. Please house I need idea on how to sort out the third reason and what they are looking out for.

OP, to be frank with you, You seem not to have done much background check on the Lady before tieing the knot.

I have this Challenge which is almost causing issues in my home.

God blessed my household with a set of male twins and coincidentally I traveled out of the country for an official engagement before the time for their baptism as I am a catholic by faith.
Before my trip, i made arrangement for two of my friends & wifes to be their God parents believing that It will be done in May, Unfortunately we had another family engagement on the same date of the Baptism and we missed out of the May baptism, one of friends relocated to States last two weeks necessitating the need for a replacement which i asked my wife to look for.

Sometime last week, my wife told me that his elder brother pleaded that he wants to be one of their God Parent, initially i agreed after her persuasion but yesterday she told me that the church said that since they are twins they should have one God Parent and she choose her brother to be.

I asked her to cancel the whole arrangement until I am back to Naija in July as I view his brother as part of our immediate family and such opportunities should be used to open wider horizon for the kids and provide guardianship. Imagining what it will look like when their elder brother is associating with his God parent and also has an uncle, while my twins are stuck with their uncle who double as their God Parent.

I need your advise, am i being unnecessarily insensitive or I should allow my wife's elder brother to take the role.

Please I will appreciate opinion from married people who have made such decision before.
