Wow! I enjoyed reading tru dis thread. I've always wanted 2 be a doctor. I wrote Jamb 4 times. 3 of my results were witheld .finally, I got admission 2 read Animal n environmental Biology. I graduated since 2009 wit a 2.1. I'm done wit nysc sincee 2011. Been looking 4 a job and confused abt wat 2 do in Msc. I applied 4 direct entry in2 uniben 4 medicine. Just wrote d exam last week. But I'm not deterred cos I believe wit God by my side, I will live my dream. Lest I forget, I started feeling faint at d sight of blood at some point but I'm controlling it now. Hope I will get ova dat? I wanted 2 be a surgeon but I'm afraid I will go 4 medicine dependin on if I get ova it. Pls I need comments from my big brothers and sister and senior colleagues telling me d realities of d journey of being a successful medical doctor. Thanks in anticipation of ur comments

Hello dear, i think we are in a similar situation right here. I don't want to go over d stories of all the time lost, i just want to see how i can redeem it. I'm a native of Delta state, I'll be 28 by Feb 2015, graduated in 2011, with a 2.2 in Human physiology. I was actually pursuing a foreign admittion for medicine in Europe, (i started the process in 2013) but right now i dnt seem to have sufficient fund for that, but i am still trying to see if a scholarship can suffix. Meanwhile, i want to also get Jamb form and start afresh ( a very rigorous and time consuming process). I'm considering Jamb because i am not sure of getting direct entry with my 2.2 in Nigerian Universities (this i discovered from the schools i checked)
I really need useful advice from anyone here, please share your information with me. thank you in advance.....

Pls someone should help me with infomation for direct entry for medicine in Delsu, what grade do they demand for? How do i go about it?

If i were in your shoes, i would take these steps,
1. Pack my things in preparation to leave on Wednesday if possible, if nt, do all i can to avoid him completely in dis few days, like prepare his food before he returns, always lock my door, wear protective clothes like jean trousers n long top, etc.
2. I'll try as much as record any illicit discussion wth him to add to d evidence.
3. After gathering enough evidence, I'll either tell my sister showing her d evidences, if she'll understand, or call a close relative n inform him or her in the presence of my sister's husband.
4. I'll leave the house for good.

Don't even consider giving in to his quest, it'll do you only harm and no good. Stay bold and defensive.

So this is what nigeria has turned into? That bank needs to be sued to court.

why didn't they say all this while the process was still on. You needed to see how the bank reps were pressuring us, saying it was the last day (Thursday) for registration. And now they are sending dis careless message to people. They should refund our money. I even heard some persons bought a copy of the form for as much as N500.

Oh dear! I didn't mention delta state, i said Niger delta, like south southern states. I did mine @ a branch of sterling in Port Harcourt, but learn youths in the other states did theirs as well. For your questions, mehn! It was after submitting d forms that such thoughts got to me. The whole process was so fast (in abt 15mins) dat i was carried away.
No qualms sha, i learnt my lessons.

My dear, it was because i saw the bank reps right inside the bank premises giving and collecting the completed forms, that was why i joined the Que. @ some point they said they ran out of pins for their stapler@ such will stop retrieving the completed forms (even with 1K attached to it) we had to quickly buy a new packet of Pins for them.
Can a bank really scam us?

Nigerians please who knows anything about the plans of Fed Govt to make payement of N100,000 to Jobless Niger delta youths. The information got to me on Thursday, 2nd of Jan 2014, and i quickly ran to Sterling bank with my LG identification letter and passport to register. From what i heard, the bank (sterling) will be entitled to the sum of N20,000 leaving each recipient with N80,000. I picked d form @ d bank filled the necessary information and returned it to the bank staffs with the sum of N1000 attached.
Is there anyone with useful information on this issue, because the number of youths i saw just @ that branch on that day is really alarming.
Sterling bank must have made a hug sum, hope we didn't fall for any kind of scam??
